I was scammed/defrauded using eBay. They used fake PayPal emails that matched the real PayPal emails. This site should be a safe place to sell your items and not to be taken advantage off and use over thousands of dollars. Absolutely devastating

I was scammed/defrauded using eBay. I was receiving fake PayPal emails and didn’t realize they were fake after 3 hours late when they asked me what was after the email address from PayPal. This should be a safe site and not a sight were you are tricked and taken advantage off. I requesting money through PayPal on Saturday and still is “Pending”

I was scammed/defrauded on eBay. The Ebay buyers all scammed me but using a fake PayPal email that looks the same as a real PayPal email. Worst experience ever, this should be safe site. I’m disappointed and waiting to close out my account and never use it again.

I previously bought a vehicle that the description was fraudulent misleading advertising. In addition to that the seller is still selling vehicles that the purchase does NOT go through EBay only advertised you have no support from eBay. The seller boasts 100% Satisfaction and 5 Star reviews however which is false as I can’t rate the seller. I reported the seller and was told they will be investigated as they are selling “outside” the rules an eBay doesn’t get paid. I was told to report seller to FBI and local authorities which wouldn’t help me recoup my losses eBay simply walked away. The advertising states: Heated seats FALSE Recently serviced FALSE Good tires (the tires / wheels) were swapped prior to delivery! Dry rotted It arrived the engine was misfiring required service and due to the fraudulent claims had it inspected $5,600.00 later in repairs!!! Seller offered no outside inspection. eBay never followed up with me regarding the investigation

Ebay is no longer what it used to be !!! One big joke !! You sell item which was listed as no returns accepted !!! The buyer comes back and says she wants to return it ! Of course ebay charges back the money for me ! I did not approve any return but it i have to give the money ?!? What is wrong with you ebay ?! I will no longer use this site ! Amazon is the best !!!!

sold on ebay for 6 years with perfect A rating 300+ items my son who lives in an apartment on our property sold some Chinese knock offs he got in a storage auction totally different user but since we had the same address they terminated my account along with his !!! WTF I called and asked why and they said it was the same address so my sons bad feed back got me kicked! see ya ebay you suck

I have been wasting a lot off time trying in to selling stuff on ebay.A lot off dodge members.Some they do bid on your item and when they win .They never come to collect it,or buying items from you without checking the description properly and just can cansel the order after 11 days.You just waste your time with them every time.Don’t do business with them.

NO PROTECTION FOR SELLERS. MULTIPLE TIME SELLER WITH 0 PREVIOUS COMPLAINTS AND MULTIPLE POSITIVE REVIEWS. SOLD A GAME FOR £40. POSTED FIRST CLASS. THE BUYER HARASSED WITH MESSAGES ACCUSING ME OF FRAUD AND HAS LIED AND SAID THE GAME HASN'T TURNED UP. EBAY HAVE DEBITED ME £40 WHICH HAS NOW BLOCKED PAYPAL ACCOUNT. THEY REFUSE TO REFUND ME FOR MY LOSS AND HAVE THE AUDACITY TO HARASS ME WEEKLY WITH EMAILS OF OVERDUE 'SELLING FEES'. AFTER SPEAKING TO A MANAGER OVER THE PHONE WHO EXPLAINED THAT SOME BUYERS RIG THE SYSTEM AND RAISE COMPLAINTS WHEN THE ITEM IS SMALL ENOUGH THEY KNOW THERE WILL BE NO TRACKING. SHE THEN TOLD ME SHE BELIEVED ME AND NOT THE BUYER BUT STILL COULDN'T REFUND ME AND WILL SIDE WITH THE BUYER VIA THE RESOLUTION? OFFERED NOTHING IN THE WAY OF A REFUND OR EVEN GOODWILL GESTURE AS A SELLER FOR MANY YEARS. TOLD "OH WELL BETTER LUCK NEXT TIME". ABSOLUTE NONSENSE. HORRIBLE SERVICE WITH NO PROTECTION FOR SELLERS. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Ebay. Hope nothing goes wrong with your purchase. Customer Service is a big joke people not doing their jobs and not keeping their word. My 15 year old daughter received a gift card and attempted to purchase something that has yet to come and it's been 6 months. 8 months later still waiting on a $20 refund.

Ordered wrong seat covers from "TMI PRODUCTS", asked to return them for right ones and I pay $50.00 extra for their efforts but they said no. Never deal with TMI I will have to eat a $494.36 loss. I have second thoughts about ordering anything more on EBAY. The seller is too well protected. We all make mistakes but not on EBAY.

Ebay is a terrible site. I think they are a bunch of bullies. My account was put on hold for apparently no reason. I could not bid or make an offer on anything. The message says I have reached my buying limit and so on. If I need to bid I was told to buy more items. What is this? Extortion? Bunch of crooks. I have written plenty emails asking them to explain but all I get is a sugar coated response. Now they even stopped responding to me. I have bought from other sites around the world and never experienced this type of service. Stay away from this site.

I trust ebay so I ordered an iPhone from ebay. The IPhone never delivere to me. Then the seller stopped response. The ebay money back guarantee is not real. They can explain in their way. I lost big money by using ebay

I ordered an item from a seller on eBay on 6-Jan. The shipping was advertised as expedited and the cost was $9.95. I didn't receive the item until 15-Jan. Expedited shipping takes a maximum of 3 days. I left a negative review for the seller stating it was due to shipping time. The seller contacted me and stated it was the post office's error, offered to refund my shipping, but made it contingent upon me changing my review to a positive one. That isn't how ratings work. If the seller didn't agree with the rating, he or she could have replied to the negative review through eBay’s system, could have explained it was the post office's fault, and then stated shipping he or she would refund my shipping. Instead, the seller called eBay, demanded they remove my feedback; they did without consulting me and have left no option to leave new feedback. Then, the seller contacted me again and stated they removed my feedback, complained my feedback was unfair and I knew it, and stated I was going to be paid back through "karma". I told the seller I would be disputing the shipping charge with my credit card company. It was advertised as expedited when it wasn't received within 3 days. I called eBay to complain to their feedback department about the seller’s gratuitous messages and eBay’s removal of accurate feedback. I spoke to Victor. He stated their eBay employee removed it because the item had been delivered. I don't think they bothered to read the contents of my feedback before removing the review. The review was accurate and eBay should have never removed the feedback. Instead, they should have advised the seller to reply to the feedback (so new buyers could read it) and explain the reason for the delay and the refund of shipping. I asked Victor to reinstate the feedback option so I could leave new feedback considering the unprofessionalism of the seller. He stated once removed, the buyer can no longer leave new feedback. He stated eBay would address the seller's e-mails with the seller and that is all. Buyers and sellers on eBay rely on accurate feedback when making purchases. It is part of the seller's advertising as well as eBay’s. Buyers and sellers expect reliability, integrity, and trustworthiness from eBay. If eBay is removing accurate feedback at a seller's request, obviously eBay cannot be trusted. I'll further say that I believe it is a form of false advertising.

eBay don’t care about sellers, who I think are core to the business? 1. Sold item: parcel delivery bought through eBay and never delivered so I issued a refund. eBay washed their hands of any responsibility. I used Hermes purely because eBay provide the service to sellers and Hermes have no way of contacting them! 2. Buyer made unfair claims regarding an item description but eBay refunded him and allowed him to post bad feedback even though the buyers complaint was totally unfounded eBay not interested in justice or fairness they just take their fee and stick two fingers up at their customers

Ebay was once a good auction site, however it is crystal clear that the current executive leadership is governed by the quarterly statement. If you read the book by Jeff Rosenblum “Friction: Passion Brands in the Age of Reason” what is described in this book is what decision makers at Ebay are not doing. It is what made Amazon successful. What is happening at Ebay appears to be “dance while the music is playing” pure greed and to hell with the future and the customer. It is as ugly as it gets. Raunchy executive leadership.

i made a purchase for an item and paid for my item realized 2 where not purchased so i contacted seller and asked how i can make it 2 for 1 shipping he said i could order a second one and the shipping be refunded..... so i did so just to find out that ebay charges extra shipping to a company called pitney browes that ebay refuses to refund even if they seller says that you will receive a full shipping refund i went through all the steps and was denied by employee and supervisor and am thoroughly un impressed by the service and lack of info..... i would have never bought the second one if i knew the seller wasn't getting the full shipping charge i feel like ebay is stealing from us when taking a charge the seller has no idea is being added to their product this is a problem when ordering from the states

Don't even deserve the 1 star... I sold a watch on ebay sent it off in perfect condition then buyer said it broke when she put it on her wrist, sent it back without sending any proof first, contact eBay as it wasn't broke there was 3 small screws missing on its return then stating there wasn't any screws but it's impossible to even put the watch on without the screws being intact, so even tho its come back to me with parts missing ebay are in the buyers favour as now I have the item back even tho I showed proof in photos and also in messages that she sent there was proof it happened her end... Then to have a manager of ebay to laugh down the phone at me is disgraceful will never sell anything again on ebay after this!!
