Bought an item, delivery date expires after the 45 days the item stays on 'my ebay' at the purchase history. After that you cannot get a refund if the item did not arrive. Tracking code did not work, so had to wait. Ebay used to be customer friendly, but is useless now.

Dreadful Service I received today from EBay I’ve been on EBay now for 20 years and today takes the biscuit and I’m considering leaving. Firstly I had to open an unpaid item case to get a new ebayer with no feedback to pay for their purchase. I posted the parcel and added tracking number to eBay ,the parcel was delivered a few days later and signed for. A few weeks later the buyer opened a case saying item not received,I again provided the tracking info to which I got no reply. Today EBay found in the buyers favour and gave a full refund of £75 (I’m astounded!!) I have items for sale at thousands of pounds,it’s a scammers paradise if this is Ebays solution to this.

Ebay is a pain in the ass delivery to Canada sucks nut sacks every time I have ordered through Ebay has been bad trying to avoid Ebay as much as possible they are a nightmare Amazon is way better

Buyer wanted to return some oil which she stated was not oil which was purchased at Holland and barter previously with receipt and other 100+ feedback on same item false misleading return automatically accepted by eBay which I didn’t even know about and they MADE ME pay for the postage! Even though I posted it to her for free. FALSE RETURN! eBay contradicts what it was made for by banning sellers all the time. eBay is a complete and utter joke. DONT SELL OR BUY WITH EBAY, FOR CHEAP SCATES WILL RINSE SELLERS MONEY

I bought a Canada goose parka for 706.25. when I got it . I was shocked. It was certified as counterfeit. Pooholic (386) sold it to me through eBay. I'm still trying to get my money back. They are of no help. I filed with my bank and a police report too. For something to tie up all that money is a disgrace. There are way too many unsavory sellers on the site. I would never do business with anything on eBay again. And that's not the only problems I had with them. Just beware ! The red tag is mine and the other photos are the counterfeit.

Ebay is run by American assholes there customer service is one of the worst they only help themselves to other peoples money without consent they tried robbing me of £40 earlier today yes I have proof and photos and they allow people to bid on there own items even though they quoted it as illegal but ebay is only about profit at others expense lies will always come 1st they dont understand the meaning of honesty and truth, dont trust them at all the pics show the different amounts and displays the number of items in the cart as well are false you will never recieve any help unless they profit from it , the amount of complaints I have made to this company is unbelievable but nothing is ever fixed they breach there terms and conditions daily

Jamal the representative I spoke to was very helpful although the First Lady I spoke to didn’t help and gave me a number that didn’t even work but Jamal got me my refund within 5 minutes of speaking

I have been with eBay for almost 15 years, have a 3300+ 100% positive feedbacks. I am getting so tired and frustrated with the way they favour buyers and trust them blindly. I have been loosing case after case and money with each because of bad buyers who want to return an item for made up reasons. The latest ongoing case, the buyer claims he received a damaged laptop but didn't send any pictures to prove it. Ebay blocked my funds and is asking me to pay for international return £30+ fees.. They never question buyer, and trust them blindly. We, sellers, have to pay for everything and loose out even when it comes to leaving feedback as we can't leave negative feedback for scammers.

eBay used to be a very good market place. Nowadays, misleading postings make you waste your time. Prices showing on the search page are higher when you click the postings and sellers always lie about delivery time. Bad quality products and difficult to get refunds.

Ebay does not protect the seller. They did not care about the actual situation and that the buyer LIED! They did not review my listing or correspondence in order to make a fair and reasonable decision. They simple gave the buyer the refund and I have to pay the return shipping for an item that was advertised clearly and correctly. EBAY SUCKS. If you are a seller, find another place to do your business. EBAY will screw you over. Oh - I forgot to mention I am a 20 yr member and the buyer they ruled for opened their account in May. Interesting, huh?

Ebay is the worst market place. Please avoid them. I had an issue for the sold item. They hold my payment for 21 days even though it was delivered. They didn't mention it before and second they state the listing is free but, actually they have hidden 10% charges which they never disclose until item is sold. I called and talk to their manager. I told him I will never use Ebay again because ofthis. Instead of compensating or waving the charges he said Ok no problem. SHI- Company. Bought from ebay recently and seller didn’t send item. Ebay dealt with it extremely quickly and I had my money back straight away. A great company to buy from.

The ebay dream is over ! Ebay is a total clusterfk of a website ! So many technical glitches, that they seem incapable of resolving, spend hours listing items & either they won't show up in ebays fkdup search algorithm or ebay will hide them from view, yes, that's right, they'l restrict the visibility of your listings, it's in the ebay user agreement if you don't believe me ! Then there's ebays money back guarantee. In short, you sell something & the buyer then decides they don't like it, donn't want it or want it for nothing, they'll open a SNAD, 'significantly not as described', without having to give proof or any reasoning & ebay will force the seller to refund them, if you don't, they will & take the money from your Paypal acc ! And don't expect the buyer to return your item (which you are forced to pay the return postage for) more often than not they won't, or return it damaged, or a completely different item or a empty box/bag ! Will ebay do anything about this......NO. Basically you're wasting your time listing as virtually nothing sells, if you do & by some miracle you sell something, it's 50/50 whether you get scammed by the buyer & lose your items & your money ! Moral.....give ebay a wide birth !

This is not so much a review of Ebay but the awful Customer Services. My Son bought an item but didn't have his Paypal password so he paid by debit card. The item was 'fake' and returned for a refund without the tags (if it's fake why the need for tags?). Because of this the seller refunded 50%. I complained but Ebay (wrongly in their own admittance after Trading Standards got involved) upheld the sellers decision. Since Trading Standards have been involved they have agreed to pay but blame my Son for not having a 'verified' Paypal account to refund to. He does! On phoning Paypal (at Ebay's request) this was confirmed. After threatening them legally they now condescend to making a manual payment as a gesture of goodwill and blame my Son again! It took 2 days to take the money from the bank; it's taken 6 weeks and it's still not back! Use Ebay at your peril but don't bother with Customer Services......they are useless and hide behind Utah Laws!
