As I was just informed by ebay customer support supervisor to sell on ebay is a privilege not as that you as seller are their customers paying the fee, but they graciously allow you to sell items on their platform. eBay claims to have protection for buyers and sellers on an equal level. It's true only until the moment that you run into trouble in paradise. So the fee that you are paying is not for the services that ebay will provide to you, but in reality, it is more thugs protection payment for their buyer protection which you have to pay to sell your items on their ebay platform. When anything will go wrong the seller is the victim of every problem and fraud the buyer commits on you.

Ebay Sucks! Long time seller. Fee's for everything and haven for Scammers. Not to mention nobody see's your items anymore. The search sucks too. I used to make good money on Ebay but now stuff just sits. No sales.

Nowadays Ebay protects cheaters rather than fair customers. A buyer of an item from no return auction can claim anything that item was different from description and Ebay make you to pay him refund and all costs of sending item. Customer Service of Ebay doesn`t even read and compare description of sold item and Buyer`s claim of refund. Avoid this company.

No Product. No refund. No CARE ! I ordered a product on Ebay from an American Seller in August 2019, for shipping to Australia. The total cost of about A$1000 (including $200 plus for priority international shipping). The product never arrived. I lodged a claim after the expected arrival time and was told I had to wait. When I finally made a buyers protection claim via PayPal... Ebay washed their hands of me and the missing product. Shame on Ebay !!! Now in November, I finally have a refund from PayPal... Not from Ebay who were no help at all. Very very very disappointed.

PowerTrip- Bay Ebay stoops to a new low, shame on you yet again Ebay! It's like dealing with a spoilt child. 2 years ago I wrote a review about them deleting the negative reviews customers leave about sellers on their site, thus the reviews no longer being a true representation of the seller because more positive reviews = more purchases = more money for greedy Ebay. I ended up on their site again today after a very long time and completely forgetting about the previous review I'd written. I went to finish a purchase and I have been told the following: Your eBay account was suspended because recent account activity has raised serious security concerns. We've taken this precaution to protect our members while we make sure that the activity doesn't cause harm-- however unintentionally -- to the eBay Community. You won't be able to use eBay in any way. This includes using another existing account or registering a new account. Any outstanding selling fees are due immediately, and any amounts that you haven't previously disputed will be charged to the billing method currently on file. My God Ebay! get over yourselves. You have to laugh at them, I mean really who is behind all of this? It's ridiculous and funny at the same time. I actually feel sorry for them. There is no professionalism at all here. P.S - My friend is using her account to purchase the items for me, so don't worry I won't be affected but thanks all the same ๐Ÿ‘

Just read the terms and conditions of the Spanish Madrid based 3rd party Packlink! I will stick to Royal Mail , and suggest everyone deals direct with a shipping company based in the UK. Packlink only answers to Spanish law!

I have been a long time Ebay customer, and made about 1,000 purchases to date, with no problems- until now! Suddenly, when making a purchase, I was told that the system "cannot process your payment". I tried another debit card, and the same result. I had five calls to Ebay and PayPal, who handle their credit card payments, and got five different answers as to what was wrong, and NONE of these was able to solve the issue for me. I spent a total of 2 hours on the phone, getting no where. To anyone thinking of buying on Ebay, beware- they seem to want you to use PayPal credit at 25% interest instead of your own charge plate or debit card, to make more cash! Customer service was awful and nothing but a runaround.

Has anyone else noticed how eBay are trying to dictate what your prices should be when selling? Auto re list an item up to 10 times, what they don't tell you is they lower the offer price you might consider by half! What the hell? I sell vintage items at a heavily reduced price, they cannot be any lower, but eBay goes into your account and lowers the price on auto re list. Also they have a little two click option after re listing an item, one to use 'auto pricing' and the other to say 'maybe next time'. How about NEVER! They are trying to screw sellers into the ground, giving dishonest buyers money back, basically helping people to steal from you. Daylight robbery eBay, you do not get to tell me how much my items should be sold for and nor do I want to give your thieving customers money back when they change their minds about what they bought or lie about an items condition, want a refund and to keep the item. People negative feedback because YOU won't pay their return postage! How can sellers afford to do that, unless they are huge companies? It is despicable! Buyers have to return goods to shops, they pay to drive back, park or take the bus etc... You buyers out there who expect everyone to owe you a living, role on you losing your job and having to make ends meet selling online...I hope you are treated like DOG DIRT! My advice to ALL sellers, do not partial refund EVER, this is a scam used by thieves. Also do not fully refund unless you receive an item back in the condition stated and make sure the buyer pays return postage. If we decent sellers do not stand up to these low life thieving buyers, eBay will never change their awful ways.
