I am an occasional buyer an sold a handful of unused items on Ebay about 15 items in three years. Recently I bought a screen protector for my phone from this trade seller and it did not fit my phone although I had ordered what I thought was the correct product. Left some feedback on Ebay to warn other customers and have not used any abusive language at all. The Trade seller simply opened a case against me and accused me of leaving misleading feedback. I got a nasty email from Ebay advising me that I had abused their policies and that my feedback was removed. I was angry to be treated in such a way when all I did was leave some honest feedback and contacted customer services only to be told that once feedback was removed there was nothing that could be done. I advised them that clearly nobody had checked my review nor the facts and that somebody somewhere had just clicked on a button without checking anything, they could not care less and dismissed my complaints. I think feedback on ebay is misleading and should not be taken as completely honest and independant. Ebay is becoming more a place for big traders who don't really care if they have some negative feedback, you just have to cross your fingers when making a purchase through the Ebay Jungle. Similarly, I think Ebay does not protect small sellers and is quick to quick them whenever they receive a couple of negative feedbacks. Ebay used to be a good place to buy soem really good bargains from honest private sellers but today it has grown too big and only seeks profits from thebig fat cats and couldnt care less about private customers or traders

never using eBay again. Rip off people. Charged me £18.50 for a listing that was meant to be £1. And their customer service tells me to check the terms and conditions.when I was listing the item there was nothing that told me

Awful for both buying & selling - eBay do not care about either buyers or seller's only the money they get - they treat seller's like rubbish and expect the seller to stand any misues scamming from buyers, which happens all the time, 'my item never turned up' BS, how they even get away with this legally this day and age is just crazy, i've bought plenty of items not registered online and they ALLWAYS turn up never had any items not turn up. As a buyer now it is not a good place because NO ONE dare sell anything worthwhile as they are scared they will be scammed so the site is full of CHEAP rubbish. I once read someone wrote - 'never sell on eBay something you can not afford to lose' thus equals eBay - awful they way its ended up.

The most awful along site I've ever used, stupid outdated policies that only protect the buyer not the seller and ensure that fraudulent buyers can commit their offences with EBays help and blessings. Useless customer service department that you struggle to email and they seem to struggle to understand basic English. For the fees you pay to use the site a yard sale with a three year old running it would be more efficient. I can honestly say I have never HATED any other site in the way I hate ebay. Useless pointless and aggravating.

Not happy with the amount of time it took to get my last order. I was told my delivery would arrive on Wednesday. I took the day off work. The order did not arrive until friday. On the tracking website though it shows my order was delivered on Thursday? There was no communication to mention the delay and the website was not regularly updated. Not happy

Their money back guarantee is no guarantee at all and no protection from the scammers that they promote, due to their greed for fees.

Buying electrical is a waste of time, the 12 month guarantee on such items bought in the UK by law is worthless. Buy you're electrical elsewhere

I ordered some items and till today, I have not received the items and/or refunds. They are absolutely unreliable, unpreffessional, crooks, scammers, to say the least. I intend top take them to consumer council.

Out $100. eBay is NOT worry-free shopping. A few months back I purchased Canada goose jacket, which was advertised as authentic. It was not, and it wasn't even a good fake, it was ridiculous. The seller purposely hid the fake logo, and hologram looked to be real from the pictures. I naturally went to return, eBay told me if the seller hasn't provided a return shipping label, I would have to pay for one, and the seller has to pay me back for the cost. Seller never did, months of back and forths with the seller, he shut me out, eBay "stepped in," but they didn't do anything. I called customer service a few times, hours of holds, they said they'll look into it, never got a callback. called again, hours of waiting again, then the lady said they wouldn't refund since it was not their responsibility the guy cheated me and HUNG UP ON ME! I'm out a hundred bucks because I trusted eBay's "Worry-Free shopping." There is no money back guarantee. NEVER trust a seller with "No returns, But backed by eBay money back guarantee."

I am trying to get my refund but have been lied to twice by your customer services that I would receive it within 24 to 48 hours. I called on Monday 1st October and again on Wednesday 3rd October to complain and I was again promised the same. I bought an item that was not a described, waited ages to obtain a return label and now it has been delivered, I just want my money back please (without the lies).

Ebay used to be good, now its just about how much money they can make out of Sellers. Never seen so many bad reviews as I have this last year or so. Think they got too big for their Boots.

If you're a seller any buyer can claim the item doesn't work or is damaged, eBay will almost always side with the buyer and you can end up losing the item as well as the payment the buyer made for it. Ebay reps will usually tell you anything to get you off the phone and different reps will tell you different stories. If you lose a lot of money due to ebay's ridiculous policies, you can take eBay to court for £25 - search Money Claim online and "taking eBay to court." - this is exactly what I'll be doing. There is no way that a buyer should end up with both THE ITEM and a REFUND and I lose the item. eBay needs to wale up. Pathetic service, untrained reps that will tell you the biggest load of rubbish, and an arrogant attitude. Awful company.
