Bought a laptop from ebuyer and was very impressed with it, so impressed, I bought one for my mum, thats where the problem started. Whe I received the laptop the touch pad didnt work, so I contacted ebuyer to say this and they said to send it back to them, so I did. about a week later, I received an email from them saying that the damage was not covered by the manufacturers warranty, and therefore they would send the laptop back to me. I rang them and asked what had happened and they said that they had received just a laptop in a box so they sent me photos of a smashed up laptop. So I persisted and Persisted that this was not the condition I sent it in, they said they would look in to it. About a week after this, I received the smashed laptop, to find a clear footprint on the middle of the screen, and some of my packaging materials. After about 10 phone calls lasting over 3 hours in total over a SIX WEEK period, I finally have a new laptop. However I felt that I was well within my rights to ask for some compensation for the six week period that I was without my laptop, ut no, apparently they don't offer compensation. This is a real shame as I have had a lot of good experiances with them in the past, however I would be hesitant to order from them again.

Bought a 3TB Toshiba hard drive that hasnt worked correctly since day 1. 3 attempted return ALL cancelled by eBuyer - it appears I should reply to an email NONE of which I received !! Their attitude was so rude "prove you didnt receive them - added to "its your word against ours". To top it off they deduced money off what I paid as the time that had expired !! Awfull company and have closed my account with them !!

Worst company I've ever used!!! horrendous company to deal with!! Sent faulty motherboard with a ten item order we placed, damaged pin on board. Made us feel like we were the ones who damaged it!! Every person we spoke to was unaccountable for their terrible service. Took 3 week to test and replace motherboard from when initial complaint was made. Then another week to 'test' board after it was in receipt of being returned. Lost earnings through this whole disgusting experience. No sense of urgency at all and terrible customer service. Still! Waiting for board to be replaced now 3 weeks to the day. Will never use again and I will not recommend anyone use ebuyer if they were to ask!!!

Ebuyer Not very ethical company ordered a dyson vacum tried to send it back within 7 days within my legal time period.they said I couldn't because I am a business, but my receipt is made out to me and paid via paypal personal. Not a very good loophole BEWARE

Item faulty but they claim that there was no fault. Having City and Guilds in electronics I thought I was qualified enough to diagnose that the antenna socket on the printed circuit board had come loose and did not make contact. I could have fixed it but it would have invalidated the warranty. Hence the TV said no signal. As they claimed there was no fault I had to pay £10 collection so I did not ask for a replacement as this was the second faulty TV they had sent me. Seiki 39" HD Ready TV SE39HY03UK £179.99 Up to now Ebuyer has done me proud BUT this has now made me look elsewhere. They do not realise that some customers may even know what they are talking about.

I think this service is very poor you order something pay for it via credit card then you get an email saying please send us a copy of your passport for proof of who you are our accounts team need this but I'm not asking for an account plus I'm not sending anyone a copy of my passport

Tried to place an order for £1500.00 Have tried 6 times with different company credit cards and each one has been rejected for no reason. Phone Customer services and not really interested in the problem. Will have to take my business else where.

Re. e-buyer: I have tried to buy a computer from you and am absolutely appalled that you have cancelled my order. The reasons you gave were: Your order has been cancelled for one of the following reasons: - You've asked us to cancel your order, - An item on your order has been discontinued or is now out of stock. I have not asked you to cancel the order and when I ordered the item a few minutes ago you said that you had over 200 in stock. My wife had a similar experience and you asked for a copy of her passport and a utilities bill as a 'security check' which is rather insulting.

There isn't enough technical info int he description box about the items I was purchasing. this could certainly improve. As i have to go to an external site to obtain the spec i needed and this is frustrating as it makes you question whether or not your buying the right item.

EBuyer are a good supplier. BUT their choice of courier is poor. I have had nothing but trouble with Yodel, who are c£&p Any seller that gives a buyer a CHOICE of courier or postage options would set a good example of service and quality.. Which is what is currently lacking with ebuyer. I should let Mr Healey know next time see him.. ( just living down the road from him)

I have tried twice to order a computer from Ebuyer and both times it was rejected even though I paid securely through Paypal. I will now take my business elsewhere.

I have had my account with Ebuyer since 2001and used it to purchase computer components for myself, family and friends. I have a lot of confidence in this company to deliver the products I have chosen, as well and accept products which I have return through change of mind or fault. Just browse around the website, compare the prices to high street and you will be astonished with the savings you can make.

Been dealing with ebuyer for years and had no problems, until my motherboard developed a fault that was not due to me. The warranty offered by Ebuyer apparently has some stipulations and even though they were selling the exact same model of motherboard at the same price i paid they would not refund the full amount or replace the motherboard. I was instead offered 60% of the amount i paid in store credit, i would strongly advise anyone with a fault to RMA and deal with ASUS/Corsair etc. instead as Ebuyer have shown to me that they do not value their long term customers and fail to offer satisfactory service.

Some ads on the right side had been obscuring the contents of the order. I had to struggle a lot to place the order. Please investigate and stop this unwelcome intrusion by the 3rd party. As to your company I have been fully satisfied with your professionalism and service. All the best!

I have only just placed my order and can therefor only pass comment on the actual placing of my order. The item description and purchasing details stated that the delivery was free unless you chose next day delivery and I don't recall seeing that the price shown was prior to vat. This is my recollection and I could be wrong if so I apologise.

Faulty printer excuse after excuse not to refund imagine rewarding staff for the highest returns rejections ...is this how bad its got lets go back to pen and paper Ebuyer.com hang your heads in shame....i notice their share value has dropped too must be having cashflow problems ..

This is my third attempt at buying an item from ebuyer. I kept getting an email advising that a foreign credit card was being used and was therefore declined. I rang the helpline and the staff were of little or no help.

System took the order, took payment, and then emailed me to say the stock I'd ordered for pre noon next day wasn't available Not happy
