“So far so good! A bit expensive shipping for 3 workdays and up, but exept from that everything seems good. Haven't gotten anything yet, of course, so it's a bit hard to judge. The website is good and easy to manouver trough, maybe a bit more choise in computer components segregation?”

“It is always very irritating when you just want to buy something and spend some money and you have to sign up for an account with new passwords etc etc. I do not want an account with Ebuyer, I just want to buy things occasionally and be able to go the checkout without having to sign in and all that palaver. Then when I did finally sign in it didnt want my password which was completely new and I had to get an email and re-set the password, so all in all it has taken nearly 15 mins to buy something!!”

“I found I could not get the ordering process to complete and had to ring up ebuyer to discover that it often happens with Internet Explorer. Once I changed to Google Chrome it was fine.”

“Success at last! This is the fourth time I have used ebuyer on line - the products are excellent, the range is amazing as are the prices . . . but it IS about the 8th time I have tried to use it and 50% of my attempts to purchase have been frustrated because either my password has been rejected (every time I reset it I reset it to the same one and there is no problem the first time of use) or my card is 'declined' by my bank. This time my order was confirmed on Saturday then rejected back to a quote on Monday because I hadn't entered a VBV password - because I hadn't been prompted to!! This is very frustrating to be continually happening and makes me think twice before using this website . . . fortunately the call centre staff are extraordinarily efficient and helpful - had it not been for Claire this morning, I would have given up and gone to Argos! Give the lady a raise!!”

“We purchased 2 Acer laptops, one of which had a faulty power supply/battery. We were told to contact Acer who in turn referred u sback to Ebuyer who referred us to a different department with Acer who referred us eventually back to Ebuyer. We ended up having to cancel the order, returning the item and ordering a new working item. Apart from that they have always delivered on time and been helpful”

“Easy to navigate to items and find more details. Issue however with paying. Once the item was placed into the basket, the price displayed on the Pay Pal window was different to the advertised price. Had to enter the details twice before the correct price was reflected. This meant that I have to navigate back to the initial window, twice. This was time consuming and annoying.”

“The web site is not very user friendly, the checkout does not allow you to remove or add items, I am not a stupid person but you do need to lower the technical level of the web site to make it easier to use. I have ordered an item because you were recommended but I would not had I just found you for all of the above reasons Thank you”

“PROs: Good range of stuff, good pricing, reasonable website, reasonably reliable reviews. CONs: Registration is a PAIN, support on premium rate calls, "free" delivery isn't valid for most of Scotland...”
