Tried to submit an order after not using ebuyer for a few years, but it turns out they have made my account inactive. Page states: "For further information please contact customer support by following the "Contact Ebuyer" link at the bottom of your screen." except there is no link. Ended up creating a new account because it was simpler than trying to get the old one reactivated!

I didn't want to make an account first and you don't need my birthday or my telephone number to make good on my order - card entry asked for a single initial (my card shows two), you don't need start date to charge visa, nearly went elsewhere but you won me over thanks to my own apathy and desire to get on with my day - and my new date of birth in 1900. I'm surprised you haven't split tested that approach or did a senior manager make a unilateral [bad] decision thinking this information would help you sell more? He's an idiot, fire him.

Very disappointed in the current website. The earlier one was far better. At the moment it is too focused on 'social' when all I want to do is look for items, maybe add them to a watch list and then purchase. It's not intuitive, you have to search for your lists instead of them being to hand, and you should be able to add something from your list straight to your basket. Not good!

I had to phone in on 10p a minute to be told to alter my security settings in order to proceed to checkout WHY ???

The shopping cart kept on trying to charge me £7.99 for shipping when it was clearly eligible for free shopping. Also, I tried to pay using paypal but it kept saying my address was unverified and so more checks were needed. This is silly as I have been using paypal for 10 years with the same address. Sort your cart out. You almost lost another sale to amazon! Thanks.

First time user... - Prices Good (important !)... - Product Search unfriendly. eg, Found only with difficulty (10mins) the Corsair bracket for a Crucial Sata. Tried looking in different "departments"; tried an EBuyer "blind search"; In the end, found it via a Google Search using "Corsair-SSD-bracket-EBuyer" & located the QF code. NOT Good !! - My Zoostorm PC showed on the product details a very good "trade-in" deal. However, when I went to my Basket, no mention of this deal...just the list price (QF579780). With the dynamic nature of your Pricing / Daily Deals, as a newbie to yr site, I wasn't sure if this deal had gone. Had to phone your Help Desk to confirm... - Went to place order. Whichever delivery option I chose, each time 1 or more of my items flagged as not being deliverable in that timeframe (even though in stock). Again, I had to query with your Help Desk when I would get the not-committed delivery item..as no point ordering everything - only to find I'm waiting days / weeks for the missing items. I was advised that the "warning" msg was purely that item was 3rd-party sourced , but would still make the chosen Ebuyer delivery timescales. The right answer, but surely this could be be covered in some way on the website. Otherwise, thank you...& thanks for seeking my feedback. Rgds Pete Turner

On Payment option I chose Paypal. After the Paypal screen the next Ebuyer screen says...." since you have chosen Paypal we have amended ( increaseed! ) deliverytime. Next day is not available "... The only option you are given is then "Confirm Payment" There is no way to go back and choose another payment option to re-acquire next day delivery. This is rubbish.

The Cannon printer iX6550 that I just ordered was advertised at £140.92 with free delivery. However I was charged £147 when I paid. How come? Regards John Bardram

Was a excellent company years ago, but lately I've found them unreliable with a poor customer service...

I felt a let down that throughout the transaction the delivery was supposed to be free adn then at the last minute it added shipping costs with no way of going back and saying you want the free shipping option. Hugely rubbish.

Item was first advertised several weeks ago at a bargain price, log on no stock, leave e-mail for interest and once again , no stock, several more tries and "eureka" item finally in stock and available to purchase, .......but twice original price!!!! I hope it's twice as good as I anticipated or I will be looking for my money back!!

Had some major delivery issues this time. Not directly the fault of Ebuyer, but their delivery chain. When customer service eventually got onto it, their call staff were very helpful, though it took a few phone calls to sort out. Note that I normally I give Ebuyer 5 stars, as they are normally excellent.

Often difficult searching for things, poor product descriptions on many smaller items, had multiple issues during paypal checkout which meant that the daily deal I was trying to purchase is now out of stock. Really irritated.

The payment process is ridiculous. I have a foreign registered card - but with a UK billing address - and they would not let me use it. I then tried with my UK card - also registered on a UK address - and after I went through the whole verified by Visa process etc., I got an error message stating that they were either out of stock or I had cancelled the order................ And the products are still on their site. Not impressed!

On the website it said FREE DELIVERY and yet at checkout it charged me £24 shipping. I needed the printers asap so I paid the shipping and hadn't got time to keep going backwards and fowards to try and find out why!! Not good when it clearly states FREE SHIPPING

In the last 6 months both of my ebuyer interactions have gone very badly, with the last such a shambles that a credit-note was issued to me as compensation. On going to use the credit in my account, there is no way to know how. There is no mention of using account credit during any part of the checkout process, but I found on the forum that credit is automatically deducted. I have just placed an order and had to give all of my card details, despite having more credit than the value of my order. Having submitted the payment there isn't even a notification to say that any credit has been used at all. As far as I know I've just paid in full, despite having account credit. The thread I read in the forum was 8 years old and ebuyer has still not addressed this issue. Also, it would be nice to determine for myself if I want to use my credit for a purchase or not. I might want to keep it there to use against future purchases, however unlikely those purchases might now be.

This is my first purchase from ebuyer. The site is quite easy to use but misleading. Despite selecting the free postage line ( up to 5 working days ) I found that when i got to payment page i was charged £2.99 postage.

Good site but tried to pay by Mastercard and the box for start date and expiry date would not accept the dates I put in. 11/11 came up as 11/1 and would not accept the other number needed The expiry date was the same. Very frustrating. Had to use Paypal which costs me!! Please get this put right
