The website wouldn't let me start a new account and sign up it was very frustrating, however I stuck with it because of the free delivery, even though other sites were charging the same for the product. I found it rather clunky and had to ask for help. It took way too long to sort out.

I am trying to order some simple printer consumables and every time I click on the next section of the sales transaction it tries to sell me a business phone system - Why are you trying so hard to sell me something extra when I haven't bought anything off you yet

I have been with ebuyer for over 8 years, and I have had many items not delivered on time and some cancelled without warning me or giving an explanation. Finally, I was charged twice for an item, and I am still trying to get a refund a year later. They are good with value for money, but not impressed with their customer service.

Prices are quoted ex-VAT which are misleading.

Hi Geoff, Hi Geoff, Thank you for your review. The prices quoted on our business site are Ex VAT, however on our normal site the prices quoted are inclusive of VAT. Bought a couple of things today. Second item was said to be free shipping and we where fine to wait for a few days, but in the process of buying the free shipping offer disappeared.. This is really annoying and very off putting.

It is extroardinary but Windows Internet Explorer, probably the most extensively used soft ware failed to get me past completing payment details time and time again last Tuesday 23/12 and despite being told this morning 27/12 by e buyer there problem had been sorted, it failed yet again. I eventually managed to complete the order using other software - difficult for a 75 year old struggling with modern technology. I now wait to see if they live up to there delivery promise and sort out anything else that might go wrong.

annoyed that there is an additional shipping cost to Northern Ireland and i was only told at the last minute in the transaction - why is there an additional shipping cost anyway?

Hi Sandy, When shipping to northern island this goes on a three day delivery to which there is a shipping charge, this is mentioned on our website on the delivery page before you place your order. Kind Regards Lucy

It took 3 days to inform me the payment had been declined. If I had been informed shortly after ordering, I would have reordered sooner. Very frustrating!

Ebuyer are fine when everything goes ok, but any kind of problem and they just don't want to help.

My first experience of ebuyer was really disappointing. I placed my order on Tuesday 17th December, it stated delivery within 5 working days which takes me to Tuesday 24th December. Order 20406800 I received an email Thursday 19th Dec that stating it had been dispatched but will not be with me until 27th December which is obviously too late for Christmas and strange as i only live 20 minutes away from Howden. I asked to either cancel my order or come and pick it up from Howden. The response from the customer service team was to cancel the order and sorry for inconvenience!! I have actually placed the order again with a £10 charge to ensure it gets here for Christmas. Its really disappointing there was no offer to get it to me on time, even if there had been a charge. Northern Ireland is a part of the UK and next day delivery should be made possible. The checkout system is slightly confusing when trying to set delivery preferences once you have been told the current delivery option is not available. Free items are removed from your basket without any notification is next day delivery is not available. User should be given the option to remove item or pay price. Good UX makes happy customers :) I do like the low prices and general layout of the site. Been told that the next day delivery is awesome but sad its not available here. Happy Christmas!

Dear Sir /madam, Am a little confused as my order has been cancel due to "An item on your order has been discontinued or is now out of stock" (well I take it that's the reason for the cancellation, because I didn't cancel the order). I haven't checked yet but I hope I have been refunded. However, am now looking for another 22" TV and once again your web site has come up with the same TV and saying you have in stock. I have order another 22" TV to be delivery tomorrow. I have paid £10 next day delivery charge which I am not happy about, if my 1st order had gone through I would of received the TV yesterday which I requested for free delivery . So I am not happy with the service. Hean Tucker

too much for delivery to 'the highlands' how do they manage to ship goods across the USA for free but cant even get to Inverness

Not very happy. Have made lots of purchases through ebay all delivered to work without any problem until now as it doesn't recognise the same address it has always sent to and delayed delivery one day for further checks, Not happy

Charged £6.66 to deliver to an "unconfirmed" paypal address that has in fact been a confirmed address for several years.
