Hi Clint, I am sorry for any annoyance caused by our website making you set an account up before placing an order. As you will find with most internet companies, an account is set up for security, this is also for account purposes so that there is a history of all your orders. When you log into your account you will be able to view all your invoices and create and return to claim on your warranty. I hope this information helps, sorry for any annoyance this may have caused. Kind Regards Lucy

used to be my preffered computer company online for many years, however a couple of years back i had bad eince with ocz vertex ssd drives. i gave another chance and due to courier (yodel) this has been an absoloute disaster.was expecting wednesday (next day) after waiting all day nothing arrives . after phoning yodel to confirm delivery i was told already delivered. 20 mins later ebuyer assure me its out for delivery still. received 1 box tonight of 2 (pc case) and have now had to reorder components to ensure i get this unit built before christmas so i am now £200 out of pocket till this is resolved as reordered and had to buy dearer board as other one i picked wasnt in next day delivery as i had to wait till after 9 to reorder . ebuyer werent good at resoloution and fear this will be a nightmare for me to get sorted as back on phone in morning I always for years but think i m finished now over an hour of calls at my expense not on

Hi Andy, I am very sorry for any annoyance that has been caused by this. I can see that Yodel had an issue in there warehouse which delayed your order. This is been looked into to try ensure this does not happen again. Your order was recalled yesterday and should be back on Monday, I will keep my eye on this for you and ensure a refund is issued as soon as the order returns. If you wish for any further information please contact me at lucy@ebuyer.com and I will be able to advise you further. I do apologise for any annoyance or inconvenience that has been caused by this order. Kind Regards Lucy

I followed a link to Ebuyer website from one of their promotional emails. I added items to my basket and proceeded to checkout. The login boxes did not show up well as there is a white background and no rectangle displayed showing where to enter email and password details (using Firefox on windows 8). This meant I had to click blindly in the white background until the cursor showed itself. Then I ran out of attempts with my password and could see no obvious link to get me to the Ebuyer login assistant page. I did find it on another page by clicking the basket icon again. For the reasons above I almost gave up buying items on this occassion. It would be a good idea to address the design of the checkout pages.

Something has gone wrong. Formerly when buying from eBuyer.com, when I came to pay, VAT was already deducted as it is not applicable to residents of the Channel Islands. This time though on order 20378013 the VAT was not deducted meaning I must now waste a considerable amount of time contacting you to get the VAT back. Depending on how easy or difficult this is will determine whether I use eBuyer again. Sean Creavy

The website is far too overcrowded. There is too much emphasis on extra pop-ups and adds for different items. All this leads to the pages taking far longer than needed to load. This makes the shopping experience longer and more complicated than necessary. If you want an easy shop, go elsewhere.

Usually I'm happy but this last order was a disappointment as after ordering and having it confirmed. A few days later I get a msg saying my product is out of stock and I have to re order. When I go to the website the product is there (890 of them) but has been put up by £4. I think my order should have been honoured at the price I bought it- not cancelled so I'd have to pay more.

I found the process of I.D. verification very frustrating. It took from 30th November when I ordered the item until 12th December to receive item (I have not yet received the item as of yet). I ended up sending the scanned documents 3 times. I called repeatedly for updates and was told someone would get back to me but they never did. My original order was cancelled until my account was re activated meaning I had to reorder it and pay an additional cost to what I first agreed to pay.

Difficulty with order. Disappointing in that Order was confirmed, as sent and a substantial amount of money spent. No good received, payment taken then 10 days later an email received to say item out of stock issue at Warehouse. Had to issue a paypal refund on card that will take several days. No good, no refudn. Rang cumstomer services to ask if they would be able to help me redo Order as I am visually impaired and told this was not possible. Anxious and concerned as to whether now that I've reordered I will actually receive my son's gaming pc and accessories for his christmas, explain ebuyer to a 13 year old.

Any company that omits to give you the option NOT to receive their spamming promotional emails at the time of sign up ( EBUYER) gets a negative review from me. When wil they learn to respect their customers? Unlikely to return

Having consciously selected the free shipping radio button I was prompted with a popup to 'upgrade' to a choice I had just not chosen. Either option in that popup added shipping that doubled my cost. I discovered after many attempts to close the popup allowed me to actually find the way to what was apparently offered - the slow but free shipping. Frankly, this stinks. This sort of practice is predatory practice upon customers.

Tried to buy on my master card but the system blew me out. Said the verification failed but was not asked for any. Tried to go back to the quote then to the order but could not get the details back up. Had to start again.

We had an account de-activated after a rogue employee used our credit card fraudulently and it has taken two weeks to pass all the security checks to re-order from you. * Emails we sent to me from a no reply email without an alternative to send to - * You cant speak to the fraud team by phone. * Sometimes I didnt get a response at all. * I now cant see the order history on my old account (for the police) I appreciate the checks were needed to ensure I am who I say I am but it has been a very difficult process to get back being able to order from Ebuyer. You are one of the top suppliers of IT equipment but I do feel let down by the back office process.

Dear Izzie, Thank you for taking the time to leave a review for Ebuyer. I would firstly like to offer you my apologies for any annoyance or frustration this matter has caused. I have viewed the details on your account from the order number provided, and I can see your account is now back up and running. Due to the fraud that had taken place on another account, we had to ensure the correct person was ordering on the new account as security is paramount at Ebuyer. I will ensure your feedback about the email addresses is passed to the right team also. Once again I offer you my apologies and I hope this experience has not deterred you from shopping with us. Kind Regards, Lucy

Its so hard to buy from ebuyer its actually a put off. I have tried paying with credit card, PayPal always with a request for a scanned copy of my passport and utility bill. I don't like the idea of providing this data especially as my purchase is basically by my credit company on assurance I pay them. Ebuyer security policy is intrusive.

I ordered using the mobile site. Delivery is listed as free. Was not happy to find out after the order had been placed that £6.66 had been charged for an N.I delivery. The first I knew of this charge was after the transaction had been processed. When I selected my delivery date the charge quoted was £0.00

Past orders with ebuyer have always been positive however on this occasion I would have to rate it as poor. The problem was that I ordered two items for Christmas presents one of which was a pre order to arrive on 12 December but the other suggested a 02/12 delivery. This did not arrive and after raising an enote found that ebuyer would not part ship the order or pre allocate the item that was in stock. That item now only has 3 left in stock on the 3rd and could itself be out when the other item arrived leaving me with the possibility of not receiving either before Christmas. Even though the shipping on both items was free next day and would have paid shipping to have the stock item delivered this was simply not possible. I then had to have the in stock item removed from the order and raise another myself, with free next day shipping !! I seriously considered canceling both and ordering from elsewhere even though it would have cost me an additional £25. I will look elsewhere in future even for business needs.
