On the whole I've had no problems with ordering and receiving products, however the website is frustrating to use just for it's browsing service alone, therefore I've had to rate it as poor. The search facility is too extensive, for example typing in 'iphone 4s case' just brings up too many products that are not an iphone case! A lot of products are missing images and for most products and available images - there is just not enough information or image quality/size provided to the customer to enable the buying decision. I've had to resort to copying and pasting the product title and manufacturer ID and finding it on Amazon or Ebay to check the product quality and reviews. I've been trying out ebuyer as I subscribed to the cashback offer but I will now be ending the subscription and going back to buying from other online sites. It just takes too long to find suitable products on the ebuyer site. I hope it will improve very soon!

Once again i enter the battle to spend money at Ebuyer, firstly i build up a lovely order after resetting my lost password to discover that ebuyer has deemed my account closed, and locked out the email address forever more. So i cant complete the checkout. This is the second account i have lost this way, so remember folks don't you dare let there be a long gap between purchases or you are Persona Non Grata Anus Perpetuity. Then i discover that i have lost my next day slot well if you will spend two hours putting in an order because we pretend an account is live until you want the goods more fool you Mr Customer. But remember this security is all for your own good and who doesn't like paying Saturday Premium deliveries. I did one speak to customer services some years ago and that was a demeaning exercise they don't operate on the basis that the customer is always right far more that Ebuyer is always right and its for your own good too. So why am i buying here again i hear you ask, well frankly i wish i wasn't but my son swears by Ebuyer and i don't know enough to buy elsewhere. So i must endure and despise im afraid. Its a system designed by a programmer with little real world smarts. Much the same as most systems if you have only been here 25 years 5 years seems like a lot. When your my age you work in decades. I look forward to it being the third of three ages. Until then i will continue to endure the unfinished world of computers. HoHum.

email promises next day delivery for free BUT you can't get it without paying it and claiming it back!!!

I ordered a laptop on the 9th November with delivery due on the following Friday. I received the email confirming the purchase but the laptop still hadn't arrived by today so I phoned customer services. I was told that the purchase had not gone through due to a mistake with the billing address. Of course I accept this is my fault however I am disappointed not to be notified that the purchase was cancelled. I have re-ordered the item and hope that it all goes through this time!

I understood from the email I received today, that postage would be free tis week. This is the second time that I have been caught by ebuyer, having to pay for postage when the advert offers 'Free Postage' I will look elsewhere next time.

Gave option to take finance on business site. went through the whole process of uploading ID etc. which wouldn't work. Finally called only to be told that this option is not available for businesses and my order was being cancelled (lady on the phone was most unhelpful too). Don't offer the option if its not available!! Wasted 2 days waiting for an order which had been cancelled without notification! Poor service - the only reason I've ordered again is because the prices are cheap.

Used explorer first time it did not work. Used Chrome next time either it timed me out or it kept saying I have already registered, but won't send me new password. Just to buy a PC and a monitor it took about an hour. You suppose to be computer experts, make your website shopping experience easier at the login process. And why do I need to download Chrome before I can purchase ??????????

Tried to purchase online using IE and got 'oops page not found' several times/attempts and on two different days. I used both a laptop and a desktop both running IE - both said 'oops page not found' when trying to checkout. You need to fix it. I called your contact number and they said use Chrome - which worked. I almost did not order!

Hi Roger, I am sorry to hear you experienced issues whilst using Internet Explorer. I can assure you our IT Department is currently looking into why this is happening as it does not happen all the time. I hope this has not put you off shopping with us. Apologies again. Kind Regards, Lucy

Cannot order by Paypal to get free delivery because each time it adds delivery charge to the total just before you accept to pay. I had to use credit card, instead, this works.

Couldn't add items directly to my basket. Instead I had to create a new List (for which there is not directly accessible link), and then purchase everything on the list. When an item malfunctioned, eBuyer were non-responsive when I requested a return. I waited three weeks before giving up waiting and taking a different, less polite route. eBuyer is rapidly going to pot, and I fear its days are numbered. Safer and quicker to shop elsewhere.

Not sure if it was the Internet connection or the website but registering and ordering was hard work and had to come back next day to order, so not great experience using a tablet device.

Good selection of products, sometimes late deliveries however customer support is pretty shocking with emails and phone calls bouncing from department to department. No return calls and constantly having to repeat yourself to different people in departments to resolve issues.

Have used Ebuyer for many years and your prices are always good - but present website is very slow. Nb I have fibre link so it is not me. You almost lost this order to Overclockers just beacuse of website - but I Iwanted to save £2! Their website and other computer sellers I use, open at same time as yours where acceptabely fast. I use IE8 on XP SP3

Good prices but when problems within warranty occur on External hard drives, they only follow a set procedure rather than the best solution.

Hi James, I am not sure why the free next day delivery promotion was not able to be selected when you were checking out. Apologies for this. I have updated your delivery to next day free of charge. You should receive a dispatch email shortly when this leaves our warehouse. I hope this helps to restore your faith in us. Please let me know if you need anything further. Kind Regards, Lucy

I have to place order twice as after a week of info I have got from the email have been sent to me is that my order has been processed. after a week it turned out that order had been actually cancelled with no valid reasons. I have checked with my bank and they said that no transaction has bounced back as it was no attempt to even debit my account. I found customers service unhelpful as they couldn't answer my questions. After a week of waiting . I had to place an order again which costed me 20 pounds extra to what I have originally placed. I understand that it is an online service but customers service should take more ownership of contacting customer in case something is wrong. This is the last time I shop with buyer.

I only buy from Ebuyer because they're cheap and sometimes give me free next day delivery. I've had so many problems with returns, I always go elsewhere if it's a general consumer item (dvd player etc) or I have concerns that the item may need replacing under warranty. Their self-branded products (Foehn and Hirsh?) are borderline mis-sold and their customer service is laughable.
