I don't like having to enter all my details and find the old password or reset to buy £21 software, why can't I just buy as a "guest"? This has turned a 2 minute job into a 10 minute job. I especially don't want a load of emails from you or you re-using my card details to renew next year!

Great website and selection of products but shocking choice of courier for delivery of items. Delivery was a day late, despite paying extra for a premium service. Despite written requests, courier would not leave the item with a neighbour, knowing I wouldn't be at home on the day. Missed delivery and no option to redeliver. Only option was to drive 8+ miles to the depot where customer service was extremely slow and no one seemed bothered to find my item any time soon.

Despite being advised by e-mail that I had a free next day delivery token, when I placed the order there was a charge for next day delivery - confused.com, and feel I've been conned

Unhappy with the layout of the website. "Free Delivery" on orders over £49.99 is a bit of a misnomer, especially when the same banner sits alongside the "order within x Hours for delivery tomorrow. It is not until you reach the checkout page that you discover "Free Delivery" has strings attached. I placed the order on behalf of an organisation, who require it for a specific date. The time scale involved means that I had no option but to pay the excess charge for delivery. I would describe the website as very ambiguous, my comments were passed to one of their customer service advisers. Only time will tell if those comments have any effect. A further review regarding the overall customer experience, will appear here in due course.

I received an email advising I was eligible for free delivery but had to log on and off the site twice before this showed.

I've used Ebuyer for years, and although generally they're reliable, a recent experience has let me down. The claimed "buy before 11pm for next day delivery" is great, but here's my story with it. I bought a LG 34" Ultra Wide monitor and really needed it next day, I submitted the order at 10:45pm and I received email confirmation that payment had processed at 10:55pm. All done before 11pm, I received an email saying it had been dispatched. I then waited all day at home the next day, nothing arrived. So I called Ebuyer, only to be told that "their system" hadn't processed my payment until 11:15pm and therefore I wouldn't be getting next day delivery, even though I satisfied all criteria and paid for it. And that was somehow my fault! I could bang on about this for hours but frankly I don't care about their system, buying before 11pm should mean buying before 11pm, I was let down and wasted a day of my life waiting around for something that was never going to arrive that day. Poor.

After placing my order at the Checkout a pop-up window appeared demanding a code from me for something called Barclaycard Secure and offered me the option to join that organisation. I will not sign-up to unsolicited organisations and I saw that the pop-up contained a 'CANCEL' button so I clicked it. Surprisingly neither at this point nor later did it make clear whether I was cancelling the 'order' or merely cancelling the sign-up process for Barclaycard Secure. I then phoned Ebuyer to ask whether the order was cancelled (it was), and I was told that use of Barclaycard Secure was mandatory to place an order and there was no way around this. I next spoke to a friend who informed me that they had previously come up against this same problem with Ebuyer but had found that the company did accepted his order when he used a different credit/debit card. Encouraged by this revelation I again went through the Ebuyer Checkout but this time used a different card, LO & BEHOLD my order was at last accepted without the dreaded pop-up appearing. Needless to say I am not impressed with this horrendous procedure which tried to get me to sign-up to an unsolicited organisation. Because of this I would not without reservation casually recommend anyone to buy from Ebuyer.

wouldnt take my card details and said no order was processed.tried again it then processed order and then told me it would charge twice for this order when I tried to sign out. Extremely disappointed. it better not charge me twice for the 2 products I ordered. Not a patch on Amazon.

The web site's clunky but you get there in the end. Printing the order acknowledgement takes three sheets of paper - it shouldn't take more than one. I tried to explain this to one of the customer service people who couldn't understand why I objected to wasting paper.

They appear cheap but because they charge for postage the item you buy might end up costing more than if you bought it on a website that charges no postage. So do your homework first before you click buy. Saying that I clicked buy as they were the cheapest for my item in UK even with postage included.

I placed an order for a laptop costing £200. The order was accepted and I received a confirmation e-mail. The following day I received an e-mail informing me that the order was cancelled because they were out of stock. I have now had to buy an alternative with the same spec. for £339. Apart from having to pay £139 extra, I am annoyed because my original order had been accepted. I have been dealing with Ebuyer for about ten years now. Would I continue to recommend Ebuyer to friends ? What do you think ?

I gave 2 star5s because the last 3 times I have tried to order I could not log on because the email/password was not recognised, the first time this happened I didn't order because of this problem, the second time I contacted you by phone and had a password reset and was able to order OK. I tried to order again today [28th August] and again had the same problem with the password recognition and so had to phone again for a reset. If this problem accurse again I will cancel my account.

Prices are always great... However, next day delivery is expensive and my items very rarely arrive next day... Also I recently ordered 6 x 24" ACER monitors. One came damaged, but we didn't notice until the week later when we came to unbox it.. Ebuyer refused to replace the item, so wasted almost £100 on useless equipment - POOR!

Customer services were polite enough but overall completely ineffective in dealing with non delivery of my package, after having waited over a week and spending a lot of my limited free time chasing customer services and yodel they've given up trying to deliver and I've been told to go and collect my parcel from the yodel centre - a five hour round trip!! Needless to say I won't be doing this so I now have to wait another few days before my purchase is returned to ebuyer and I can get my refund. From my experience so far I don't hold up much hope for a refund of my delivery charge of £10.98. Also how does a phone qualify as a "big package" for the highest delivery charge???

Your payments system is crap. Totally unnecessary and long winded, for someone paying with PayPal, who hold all the necessary details for delivery address etc, streamline your payments system before the buyer get exasperated and goes elsewhere.

I was misslead by the so called free next day delivery on orders over £49.99 and rather disappointed to find there is in fact a charge for delivery the next day

The website showed free delivery but I was charged £8.97 at the checkout and there was no option to challenge this.

your prices and equipment are very good if not excellent but my poor rating is for your awful website which needs re-designing as it is not very customer friendly, specifically the purchasing part which I found quite frustrating. I had to place my order 4 times due to timeouts which are to quick and saved lists could not be accessed from my account which was the most frustrating aspect. however your products are definitely the cheapest and best quality around, a shame you do not offer free delivery as PC World does though!
