Having a scheduled 9am pick up and reservation from the autobody shop, enterprise waited and picked me up at 930. Arrived at the shop for them to tell me it would be 45 minutes to and hour for till I could get my car. At almost and hour and half, still no car. What is the point of an appointment and reservation if they can't keep it. Go some place else. Incompetence at its best.

I rented a car for 9 days at Enterprise Reading in June 2024. I was informed of 2 parking offences (my daughter did not pay the parking fees as there was no wifi at the carparks) 2 weeks after the trip. Enterprise promptly charged the fines to my credit card. 3 months later, I received a letter from the parking authorities at Mousehold, Cornwall that the fine was outstanding and the amount has been doubled due to non payment. I emailed Enterprise 2x and my daughter in the UK even called the office. Enterprise refused to respond and the fine has not been settled as the parking authorities claimed the fine was not settled. I am stuck. Not responding to customers and following up on post service is unacceptable!

I originally picked up a car from the Delray location of Enterprise, but it quickly became clear that the vehicle had serious mechanical issues—it was leaking oil and jumping dangerously. When I went back to Delray, they told me they didn’t have any cars to switch me into and advised me to go to the Pompano location, where they said they had inventory. When I arrived at the Pompano location, one of the associates confirmed they had cars available. While I waited for him to finish assisting another customer, the assistant branch manager Thomas Upegui approached me and rudely asked how he could help. I explained the issues with the car, and instead of resolving the problem, he told me to go back to Delray and claimed he wasn’t obligated to switch me out. His attitude was dismissive and rude, and despite the fact that I saw him switching out cars for other customers, he refused to help me. I can’t help but feel that my skin color may have played a role in how I was treated, especially since roadside assistance had specifically instructed me to go to Pompano to resolve the issue. It’s beyond frustrating that, after visiting 10 locations, Enterprise still didn’t care about my safety or the mechanical problems with their car. To make matters worse, after roadside assistance escalated the case, I was told to wait at the branch. Instead of helping, the assistant branch manager threatened to call the cops on me—for following their own instructions! This experience was not only deeply unprofessional but felt discriminatory and unsafe. Enterprise clearly doesn’t prioritize customer safety or treat all customers equally. I will never rent from Enterprise again, and I urge others to be cautious. This company doesn’t care about your safety or your experience.

If I could put a dot I would never a star Enterprise has been a company that has been vicious with their customers all around I am now 53 years old I have been using Enterprise since a young teen and I use them sparingly only when no one else is available because of their practices. So this time I did not choose Enterprise but my company did for work The work that is most important is FEMA reconstruction of a state city or town that is what I'm here for to work for FEMA to put North Carolina back together but unfortunately Enterprise decided not only to have a contract with my company they did not honor anything that they stand by first of all don't believe the lies that they tell on the internet and I don't know how they are able to place that s*** on the internet and it's a total lie So let's go down my rabbit hole I get in at 6:09 to work from vanguard FEMA they reserved my car The young lady takes my card turns around and ask do I have a return trip I don't have a return trip because I'm working a disaster meaning I don't know when I will return back to my place because I'm putting up yours but this young lady still charges my card and refuse to give me a car Now enterprise is giving me the runaround for $685 that they have taken from me which does not allow me to get another call with another company which does not allow me to eat which has me stuck in a state that I do not come from with not one resource of help I have called their hotline three times It's a hotline of placation they placate and never deliver on anything that said on their website their customer service is garbage that ethics are in the trash You are horrible company and you are horrible people If you think that the world is going to continue to work like this I hope your company falls You have stolen from me and will not give me my money back and surprise you are a thief and if I do not have my money in five business days I will pursue legal action and I will sue the young the very young lady who stole my money for you.You are a deplorable company You do not need to be in business because if you're going to hinder the reconstruction of a disaster area just for money and then your prices are so different between my company in your internet you overcharge my company I decided to try to get another rental car and you all come up with the same car you were going to give me at a cheaper price $400 versus $685 you are robbing the people You need to be a chamomile yourself anybody who owns this company needs to be very ashamed and if you're not that type of person that steals from the poor that steals from the working class that keeps you in business I pay your taxes so you don't have to If you cannot pay homage to the regular people who keep you in business you need to be out of business I am here a 53-year-old woman stuck with no resources cannot eat because you have stolen my money and giving me the runaround. Horrible company horrible morals . I'm stuck with no money or food and now I've lost the job I came for and I still can't get my money from Enterprise. What goes around does come back .

After Hurricane Milton the only bright spot were the employees of Enterprise of Drew Park, Tampa, Florida. The service was conduted with a smile. Options were given such as I wanted to rent a economy car but none was available so they gave me a full size car at the cost of economy. Check out and check in was quick and problem free. I also want to mention that Alex and Carolin were very friendly and helpful as were all the other employees. Enterprise will have me for all future car rentals.

I can't express how utterly disastrous my experience with Enterprise car rental was. It was a nightmare that no family should ever have to endure. I booked a Toyota Tacoma, believing I could rely on Enterprise's reputation. When I arrived at the counter at Enterprise Buda, I was blindsided by the absurd demand for a visa on my Australian passport—something that should have been made clear beforehand. After wasting 20 precious minutes on this nonsense, I was told that the Tacoma I had booked was simply unavailable. As a family of five traveling with an 11-month-old infant, this was a complete catastrophe. To make matters worse, the branch manager, Katy Patterson, was particularly rude, unhelpful, and dishonest. Her attitude was dismissive from the moment we approached the counter. Instead of offering assistance or understanding, she treated us as if our concerns were trivial. It became clear that she had no intention of resolving our issues.surrounded by people who seemed completely indifferent to our desperation. We were facing a flight the very next day from Austin to Houston, and time was slipping away. From 5:15 PM to 11 PM, we were left in a state of utter panic, frantically searching for a vehicle. I called the Enterprise call center multiple times, pleading for help, only to be told to go to the Austin airport—where we were met with the same cold rejection. It was infuriating! After what felt like an eternity of stress and anxiety, we finally found a car at another rental company in San Antonio. This experience was not just inconvenient; it was a nightmare that put our entire trip in jeopardy. The lack of professionalism and empathy from Enterprise was shocking. I will never trust them again, and I urge anyone considering their services to think twice. You don’t want to risk your family’s plans on such an unreliable company!

I rented cars from Enterprise for years and years and they finally screwed it up and messed up my vacation with my grandchildren because they lost my 2-week previous reservation and made me wait an hour on a car. Then they sent me a bill for $7.50 for nothing! They should have given me the car free! Never again Enterprise!

Location Troy Schenectady Road. I had a horrible experience with the manager who accused me of smoking marijuana in the vehicle telling me a muffin crumb was a piece of marijuana. I have been a loyal customer for years and NEVER had any issues at all other locations I have rented from. The manager was extremely belittling, rude and condisending when trying to rationalize with him. I was extremely humiliated in front of other customers.

Rented a car in the uk when I took it back they found a small slice in the tire so they held my deposit of £195 which is about $250 the slice was like it had been caused by a knife that unless you got down on your knees to look you couldn't see strange thing was of the 4 tires on the car the guy went right to the tire that was cut like they had done it before to others now I am back in the states it's virtually impossible to talk to anyone from the uk even the number they gave me is not in service why would any business make it impossible to work this out

EDIT: I received a robotic response from the "owner" to contact them via their website. Upon doing so I was forwarded twice and was finally told that my claim would be forwarded to a Regional Manager, which I have been told 3 different times now. I expect this individual to contact me and also tell me that they cannot directly assist me and that ANOTHER manager will contact me. This just drives home the fact that this company DOES NOT want to hear anything I have to say. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS ENTIRE COMPANY! The worst experience I have ever had with an organization. I made a reservation over the phone with a Customer Service Rep. who not only guaranteed me that a minivan was available at the Redmond airport but then "reserved" it for me. Upon arriving to the desk at the airport, the individual at the desk checked me in then communicated with the individuals down at the lot via text in order to see if a minivan was available. I waited 20+ minutes until I was told that there were no minivans available to rent. I communicated to this person that anything smaller was not an option and she displayed zero sympathy. When her and I settled on a full-sized SUV that MAY cover my needs, I was informed that Enterprise does not accept initial payment via debit card for one-way rentals. This was not conveyed to me during this entire process even though I made my rental needs very clear. The individual over the phone did not state this, nor did the woman at the desk during the 30 minutes I was there. I do not have a credit card nor do I carry checks on me, so I was left at the desk with no options and this individual just staring at me - presenting me with zero sympathy or attempt at rectifying the situation. I was able to get a rental using Budget Rentals for twice the price. They were nice and sympathetic enough to help me out, be very clear on their policies and their customer service was top notch. I cannot say any of these things about Enterprise. I have attempted to speak with multiple managers at this facility, all of which either do not return my calls or they tell me that "someone will reach back out to me". So after my reservation was not honored, my payment type not accepted after multiple conversations with your staff and not an ounce of human decency was expressed to me - I will never be using Enterprise again. I would also say to watch out when using them as they do not care about you, your well-being, nor your safety on getting where you need to go. I will always pick Budget or any other rental car agency over Enterprise from now on, I will recommend all other individuals I come in contact with to do the same. This company is terrible.

I arrived to find that I could not use my debit card for the rental because I am from another state. I also was told the deposit was $300. My friend offered to use her credit card for the rental but she was not going on the trip. They insisted that the name on the reservation must be the same as the card name. I have never had any trouble like this with Avis or Budget. They also have a lower deposit. I will never rent from enterprise again. This spoiled my entire trip since I had to cancel due to their restrictions. This is completely ridiculous and unacceptable. Very poor customer service from the company.

I called the local office on a Thursday and had to wait 30 minutes for an agent. Later, when the auto body called for them to pick me up, they waited a similar amount of time. I have not even started the rental and I am furious. Go with another company.

I reserved a vehicle online the day before I needed it. I needed a vehicle in order to make a 4.5 hour trip in order to attend my step-mother's visitation/funeral. When I went to pickup the vehicle, I was told my rental would be delayed by 3 hours. There was no way I could make it on time with such a delay. I was not given advance notice of the delay, so I could not make alternate arrangements in time to make the drive. I understand unexpected things happen, but a PROFESSIONAL business would have policies in place to address potential issues that could affect someone's travel. When I was told of the delay, I tried to get another type of vehicle only to be told they had none on-site! What kind of car rental company has no cars on-site?! There is no way to fix this. I am missing my step-mother's services because I trusted this inept company and I have to live with that now. Even if you have to go out of town to find another rental company, do it! Do not use Enterprise unless you have NO alternative.

A guy named Joel that pronounced his name as jo El contacted me due to my recent intest. He works in Morgantown west Virginia. He asked me what was. I told him. He said how soon can you get here. Then harassed me for 3 days to get me there and then ran a hard credit check with I asked him not to do then I told him we were done here and then he sent his manager to talk to me and I said I'm just waiting on my ride. And then another guy came out said he was the owner and wanted me gone now before my ride got back. Over all you are really bad people trying to take advantage of someone who really needs help and understands their budget

Rented from LaCrosse, WI because my truck broke. Upon returning home to Illinois estimated repair time became longer and Enterprise would not allow me to return car to a different location on Saturday but on Tuesday they decided that would be fine. Resulting in a higher rental fee. After that I was never able to get them to answer the phone again.

I rented my vehicle from Enterprise in Spring Hill Tennessee on Main Street. Every time I spoke with Evan from that location, he was very professional and polite. When I went to pick up the vehicle, Evan took the time to go over all the features with me concerning the vehicle. Enterprise is very blessed to have Evan as an employee.
