Kettering Branch , very poor. Difficult to get a parking space.. Often cars blocked in by Euro Car parts vans. You buy by "click and collect", which is a con. It will not really save you time. Only ever 1 x person serving.. Admitted by the server.. Several PC terminals, just one guy.. Plenty of desk, but just one guy. So there is no clicking and collecting. Screwfix and every other honest company have a desk for just collections. They also have 3 -4 persons available to get your goods. Usually you have to wait for on average 10 minutes, whilst people ahead of you in the queue, have not ordered online, they want to go through products and options with the server and then pay by cash or card.. This is a totally misleading and unfair system, where those that have taken the time to be organised and have paid in advance, have to wait behind those that could not be bothered. So Euro Car Parts gets your money into their bank in advance and you have to wait to get your item, because they are too tight to pay to have at least 2 x servers working.. At this branch there is a back office with several people, who are always audible and mucking around. At least it does not sound like they are really hard at work. So the question is, faced with that poor customer service and experience every time, why should anyone hand over their money in advance? Perhaps we should all pay and order in shop, thus slowing down everything and effecting Euro Car Parts profits, until they take the most basic action, to have more than one person running the shop front. In the past I have visited several other branches that were smaller and they had two persons out front dealing with customers. When I spoke to the one guy serving, he said it was not because someone was sick, just that is the way they run it there. I have to now consider looking at other retailers, because the service level is so low. The sad thing is that the rise of Euro Car Parts is that it put many small motor factors out of business. You know, the guys that used to know what parts were required without having to take vehicle registration etc.. Sad times.. Only prices are good and those also have been steadily increasing and fewer discount codes now.

Parts purchased did not fit, returned and bought an alternative, also didn't fit. In the end, lost confidence in getting right part and first filter £7, last option £30-odd. Guy i dealt with was 100% but issue was with system. Refunded for both. Normally better.

The net is very thin and totally see-through. So hardly blocks sun's rays.

Reserved a couple of items online. Went to store to collect. Payment taken and then after 20min I’m told they don’t have it in stock. I was then presented a couple of options and when I agreed they said I now need to pay extra few pounds. Manager was useless in helping and instead I had a wasted 30min.

not a great experience, I ordered brake pads online, collected them and took them to my mechanic, unboxed them and found that they were used old pads… then i took them back to exchange them and had to wait in a queue for about 20 mins, so yeah not very impressed with my experience.

Ordered part for next day delivery, never arrived. Chased via customer services who took days to reply. Local branch lost item and invoice, arrived on day 3. Poor... They used to be so good.

Needed left and right gas struts ,your part list, said both sides , but only one in package. Gather the strut could be used on both sides but I thought this was misleading on your part list. Rang to query , staff was not helpful, matter of fact , so returned. Return went OK so that part good .

Given the wrong part so had to go back to store. There was a difference in cost and sales person said it was okay but when I checked later I seem to have overpaid for the correct item.

Bought brake disc online because of discount but despite using reg number, a range of choices were offered but it wasn't clear what the difference was between options other than brand or price. Turns out the one I ordered was the wrong one. No problem returning it but I could no longer get the online discount as I was now in shop and would have to wait up to 30 minutes for online order to come through. Ended up paying 25% more than I had originally thought for an ordering problem that wasn't of my making. Overall more thought on linking up online and store interface.

I usually only use Euro Car Parts as a last resort when I desperately ned to get my hands on something and can't wait for an online order to be delivered. Recently I've had issue with my front anti-roll bar drop links due to changing my suspension. The links I needed were not standard to my car but ECP showed some stock availability on adjustable ones. The price was fair and it appeared from the website that I would be able to pick them up when they next opened. I attended the store and was told that they were not present and were on their way from another store, so I had to come back later for them. Previous occasions I've waited for ages to collect a click & collect order. You'd think they would have a shelf in the warehouse for click & collect and a check-in terminal for when you get there. Another frustrating occasion, I was collecting an order and there was only one server. Two people ahead of me in the queue, the first wanted to buy all the fluids and filters needed to service his Defender 110 himself but had no idea what he needed, the second guy had ordered the wrong brake pads for his Audi A1 because he couldn't tell if his car had 288mm of 256mm front discs. Neither are ECP's fault but a check-in terminal and a shelf with click & collect orders on them would've prevented me from listening to their tales on ineptitude and not only would I probably use ECP more I’d recommend them and rate them higher.
