“Very disappointed in the lack of communication. I have reached out by telephone and by email multiple times and never get a response back. I am trying to find out how to access my files from your website. I have already paid for this service but have never received instructions on how to access it. I hope this message gets forwarded to your CEO. I would think he/she would be exceedingly disappointed.”
“I have used Everpresent before and was very happy with the results. This time I brought in 4 VHS tapes to be made into DVDs. Apparently one of those tapes was not mine. Whether it was mixed up with someone else's tape I do not know. But what I got were 3 DVDs of the same tape (which contained subject matter that I never taped). One of the other DVDs was of poor quality in terms of sound, and these tapes were musical performances. Since I received notices from you that the tapes' conditions were adequate, I had no expectation of there being a problem. I am happy with three of the DVDs. I called and left a message for Ariel who called when I was on the phone. She left a message, but when I called back about 15 minutes later I left a message and she never responded. This is not acceptable. I am requesting a refund for the three tapes that were sent with no relevance at all to what I gave to you. I consider Everpresent to be a very good business, and this has been a very surprising experience. I hope to hear an answer from someone on your team. Thank you very much, Elaine Jost”
“They were good at keeping me updat3d al9ng the way with the process, it was also pretty quick. But there were videos/tapes they didn't advise me of that were faulty and fuzzy aka unwatchable that I was still charged for. Also there deal of so many tapes and then the price is reduced is a scam! They charge you the higher price for the first 10 vhs and then the lower price for the rest when they should charge the lower price for all vhs tapes in the order. All together was way overpriced for what I got un return.”
“Way too expensive. They were quick and I did receive everything safely. But even though the original films were spliced together in chronological order, the media I got back jumped years all over the place. They told me I could fix it on the thumb drive but the CD ( which was the gift) was not fixable. The woman apologized for not explaining to me that I should have told them from the beginning that I wanted it in a certain order, but why would I think to ask that when I had them in order when I dropped them off”
“Disapointed. Entirely too expensive to take already digitized photos, de-duplicate and arange by year in a folder for each year for my monther. What I recieved was a bunch of sub-folders in each year plus files that were not organized, even though they had date stamps. The wrap up process felt like extortion, you must fill out this cryptic form masked as a survey that clearly was just an attempt to upsell in order to get your pictures back. A week before I recieved my files back, I get an email requesting me to add a tip to the those that worked on my files. I like the concept of this service, but poorly executed. I was expecting a program that sorts files and de-duplucates. If this really was done all manually, I would suggest investing in some automation.”
“I am sorely disappointed in the quality. And quality assurance on your end didn't happen. There is no other way the end of the album was missing from the CD. Waste of money.”
“I engaged EverPresent last spring to organize my collection of photos so I could easily locate images to create a Father's Day gift for my husband. I had very high hopes back then, but now all I can report is my deep dissatisfaction with the whole experience. EverPresent's pricing was astronomical, ladled on in phases. I could only afford a few processes and had to limit the number of photos to be processed. Still, in good faith, I paid several thousand dollars for what I hoped would be a searchable archive that I could maintain myself going forward. Then I waited. A full year went by before my project was ready. When the project finally arrived, instead of the orderly, tagged and decluttered archive I expected, all I had to show for my sizeable investment was a recategorization of files into folders, and a handful of suggestions for removal. I'm no better off than I was a year ago. Sure, they tagged (some) and decluttered, but to be useful to my needs, my project will still require a tremendous amount of additional work on my part: reviewing, re-organizing, more tagging, and integrating the new archive with the part of my collection that was not processed (not to mention all the new photos I’ve taken in the year that’s gone by). These were the very tasks I paid EverPresent to do for me. I feel a little sick when I think of how I should have cut my losses after the first pricey consultation, but instead, I threw good money after bad. What kept me from giving this review one star was that all the people I interacted with at EverPresent were kind, helpful and courteous. (Although I was stunned and repelled by an email inviting me to TIP the staff before I'd even received the archive). In sum, I regret ever contacting EverPresent in the first place, and I would never recommend this service to anyone.”
“I had about a 12" film strip to be transferred to a digital version. I thought the film would be cleaned before it was digitized. The digitized version was very dirty and it did not have all of the frames on it,
Needless to say, I was not happy with the job.”
“I like the service, however continuous contact through emails, phone calls, mailings is way too much. I want to order, pay for, and pickup my films…that’s it. Please stop contacting me, it’s annoying and way over kill. Actions speak louder than words…”
“You interest in becoming a preferred service can at times fail. When i was concerned about my order it took almost a week for you to respond or acknowledge my email. that made me very nervous. when you did you then went overboard trying to make up for the err of your ways by sending me undates and other email resources for a week until my job was delivered. Everything was packaged beautifully. I sent in 5 I U-matic tapes and had 5 files on a flashdrive, 2 of them were repeated with other info attached that made me realize that one or more files may not have been transferred. I understand that you are a small company and maybe overloaded? I'm happy with what I did receive but disturbed thinking that something is missing and I may never understand what. I would consider using you in the future because i think you are capable in small doeses. i would never send you multiple tapes to avoid something like this ever happening again. You were highly recommended by a good friend and how I came to you.”

“Honestly, I was really disappointed that after how detail-oriented and courteous all the emails from Everpresent claimed they would be that no one contacted me to say that two out of my five tapes were duplicates and ask if I still wanted them both transferred. I mentioned that I did not know what was on the tapes and they weren't labeled. I kind of expected that that's the type of thing someone would catch. Could've saved me a lot of money.”
“The quality of the photo is not very good and, accorded to the passport office, may not be acceptable. I have nevertheless submitted it and await their determination.”
“Sent away five tapes to be transferred to digital but only 4 worked while the last one was in fast forward mode with no sound. Very difficult to find customer service as I left numerous messages and e-mails before reaching a live person. They said tape was corrupted and that was the best they could do. Why copy a corrupted tape with no sound and in fast forward mode and charge the client? Thought about asking for a refund but am so tired of their lack of responsiveness.”
“Was expecting better sound and noise reduction on transfer of music cassettes to CD's.Was pointed to your service as capable of improving sound and noise reduction.Very disappointed.”
“I thought you could make the dvd come out better than it did I showed the dvd to my daughter & she took pictures with her cell phone & was able to brighten up the dark pictures with her phone I thought you could brighten up the dark sections in your lab”
Hi Paul, Thanks for your feedback! EverPresent does have an image enhancement editing service. Our design team can spend some extra time touching up photos that may be underexposed. We would love to have you give this a try on your next project - you can benefit from this addtional service!
“I thought that with modern scanning equipment the scans would at least capture the quality of the original photo. The fuzziness introduced by the scan gave the digital photos a drab look. I had to reedit all scans with windows software, first to give clarity - since I was editing I made other adjustments like lighting and an occasional crop. I got pretty fast at this, as I did not try to get the best possible edit or create art. You might consider a quick-edit service along these lines at a reasonable price. James Burger”
Hi James
Thanks for your feedback and it looks like you could benefit from our Advanced Image Retouching program where our team can spend a bit more time on the photos for clients who want advanced photo edits. We will reach out to you today to talk to you more about this service that we can provide! Thank you!
Hi Robert, thanks for your note. It looks like EverPresent reached out to correct this issue and sent you a new complimentary DVD. It seems that there might be an issue with the player.
