“quality of work was fine. Tming was a little slow but they kept to their agreed schedule. Pricing was initially a negotiation, and once the sales people agreed on a price the production people sought to modify it. In the end they honored their initial agreement, though, and did the work for the original agreed-upon price. Points for sticking with your word!”
“I was very happy for the most part. Some of pictures were digitized on the back. I had sorted all photos by date on the back, and about five of the pictures were the date.”
“Very good communication during the digitizing process--I always knew what stage my project was in. The quality of the scans were good and I am happy with them. The website is easy to navigate and I was able to easily rename and download my photos. I didn't use the app, so can't comment on that. A bit pricey, and there are a lot of "add-on" services that you can get, for a price, which I had to decline because I was already spending more than I wanted to. But they don't really do the hard-sell on the add-ons (I felt my decision to turn them down was respected.). I have a lot more photos that I need to get scanned but I think I need to shop around and try to find something more affordable for me. The only other negative is that they forgot to apply a discount that I had asked for, so I had to press a little to get that refunded, but they came through and gave it to me. It was a little less than I expected, but was at least something. If money wasn't an issue, I would definitely use their service again.”
“Very organized and thorough. I do have a couple tapes with quality issues but could be the tapes themselves and not the stick. Overall, I am satisfied”
“The overall service was excellent. My only comment would be that the website needs an optional "power user" mode that makes it very easy to download content. An authenticated API would be even better.”
“The digitization was great - we are very happy with everything
My issue is with the 'automatic' communication - my contact info wasn't saved even though I was emailed a referral to a pick-up site and filled out the electronic form at drop off. There was no automatic confirmation of receipt of the originals nor any updates until they were entered into the digitization process (weeks after pick-up) at which point I was inundated with emails about additional services.
Automatic contact re-return and pick-up date of the originals was fine.
I understood that there was a lot of business and didn't mind the wait for digitizing, I just would have preferred not to have to keep calling in to find out what was going on.”
“Unfortunately for my self , I have not been able to see it , I dm out of the country , I will be able to see it in a couple of months,
I dm sure I will be pleased .”
“I had a wonderful experience with EverPresent. Our family had home videos for decades that we had been meaning to transfer digitally. I eventually found this company and it felt like they had a very detail oriented process, while understanding the importance of these irreplaceable items. They were able to pick them up from a drop off point and update me on the status rather, than mailing these items. The app was easy to use and we were able to transfer, our now digital media, to thumb drives in order for us to all enjoy together. My only complaint was that there was some confusion as to where I had dropped off my items when I was communicating with the team, which concerned me. However, this issue was quickly rectified.”
“The safety of my original videos was perfect, the transfer to a thumb drive was perfect, and it was all done in a very quick time. My only issue was that they took the second payment from my bank account without notifying me first. Because they had my bank information from the first payment, they automatically took the second one. As it turned out, I was overdrawn with my bank because I needed a minute to move money into the appropriate account.”
“Good communications every step of the process. Once you sign up and send your photos the price gets to much more than $.89 a photo, more like $1.51/photo.”
“Great experience to have all your lifetime memories on a flash drive.
Happy and very satisfied with the outcome however at the expensive price tag it would of been nice to have 2 flash drives just incase something happened to one of them”
“Very expensive considering they only digitised 4 photos. Now I have to print them myself!
All I wanted was 4 prints from 4 antique negatives. Otherwise very nice group.”
“Very good work on two batches of 35mm digitizing. Coming back to do a third.
These were family slides over 60 years and were sent in with no grouping of similar times and events yet they came back grouped in a time sequence as thought the organizer knew the family and events!”
