“I am pleased with the speed of the videos, but though I had ordered DVDs as well, I guess I wasn't clear on my ordering. I had a little trouble contacting your company once or twice and I am seeing many video services, that appear to be less expensive.”
“Excellent archival work of old cassette tapes. I would like to see a "ballpark" estimate given by customer service in the future before materials are sent to their location.”
“Everpresent took a pile of 8 and 16 mm films, mostly taken by my father when my sister and I were young (early 1950's), and made it possible to see them again - and for that I am grateful. The B&Ws were grainy and the colors faded - but I realize that is the result of sitting in a box all these years and is not their fault. Only criticism is the amount of time it took for the project to be complete - about 2 months.”
“Thank you for assisting me in capturing some of my professional works (play performances, public reading of my poetry, etc. I appreciate that you helped me finally fill in the gaps with a total record of my writings. I will be passing word to my writer friends about your resources.”
“My only complaint was that the store did not give me a receipt when I initially dropped off my vhs tapes. This made me uncomfortable because I had nothing to refer to when I first contacted you.”
“I have had a wonderful experience with Everpresent. One thing I did not understand was that the $40 additional purchase for one year access to your digital files was per tape. I thought it was per year, thus have lost some of the files. I think it needs to be more clear to the consumer that this fee is not a one time deal to preserve your memories. I thought if I paid it once, my tapes were protected for the year.”
“Film transfer was timely and professional
I had to call call a couple of times for payment information but other than that, a good place if you need film transfers.”
“Impressed with manner of providing terms and conditions of service.
As technical support was needed, also impressed with Bradey’ s help in resolving a problem.”
“They sent me to a dropoff store which was out of business, and which they should have known, as it had been closed for some time. So after calling them from the parking lot of the closed store, I found my only option was to mail my tape to them. Just a hassle that seems like it could have been avoided. And their prices are high enough so one can only have them transfer the most important tapes.”
“Hi Jody,
I had a rush order for my son's wedding ( pictures of him since birth). I was pleased that things were moving quickly.
However, much to our shock & surprise, the wedding was called off. Since the pictures had been
placed on a USB, I asked if 3 pictures of my son's fiance could be removed from the end of the video.
I was told that they would try under the unusual circumstances. When I retrieved the USB, the pictures
I asked to have removed, were still included much to my chagrin with no explanation.”
“Everpresent reps were all wonderful and helpful. The project came out perfect for my needs. I did not give a 5star review simply because of the waiting period, which in all fairness, was communicated to me at the start. I was also concerned my materials might get lost in the transition from a drop off location, an art store, to Everpresent's lab.”
“I recently had two mini cassette tapes and two regular cassette tapes digitized by Everpresent. I had them transcribed onto a thumb drive. The 30-year-old cassettes contained some precious personal and historically significant audio recordings I wished to preserve and archive. They did an excellent job! I was able to hear my long-since-departed mother and sister's voices with surprising clarity. I am now also able to finish a long overdue historical film archiving project by adding witness narration. My only issue with Everpresent (and the only reason I didn't give them a 5 Star rating) was their lack of communication on my digitizing project. I was somehow dropped off of their project tracking process. I would usevthem again and recommend them to anyone considering having their precious audio recordings digitized.”
“Was a bit less impressed with service this time around than previously. I dropped off my project in November, and didn't hear anything about status between 11/17 and 2/3 (which was just days after I wrote to ask for an update). It was ready on 2/9... the day i was having shoulder surgery, which left me unable to drive. I had to have my son pick it up for me when he was in town on March 20. The app was not working, and i had to follow up to get that fixed. I asked for an extension of the 60 days of access to the online archive given all of the above and was shocked to get a cold response that said, basically, no.”
“I was very satisfied with the business and the product. They do take pains to handle every original with extreme care and attention, and are respectful in all interactions. I recommend them highly.”
