“It did its job - providing somewhere where I could work for a couple of hours before my flight. But the lounge was exceedingly busy - there was actually only one free seat at a work desk when I arrived, and shortly afterwards they started refusing to let anyone else enter the lounge. The food was ok. Overall, not an excellent experience, but at least it's somewhere where you can "settle in" for a couple of hours, leave you bag and laptop at your seat while you get food etc., so better than not being in a lounge at all.”

“On arrival the staff could not find us a table even though we had prebooked and we had to stand around and wait for someone to leave. The Aircon was not working and was extremely hot and uncomfortable. There was no one serving at the bar to enable us to purchase drinks. However the food was ok and it got us out of the hustle and bustle of down stairs.”

“The lounge is bright and airy, clean and nicely decorated.,although there were quite a few people in, it didn't feel crowded. The selection of food and snacks was limited in comparison with other lounges, it was average. The drinks service was ok, alcohol had to be served by the bartenders instead of self serving some drinks like bottled beers as we have found in other lounges. On the whole it provided us with a relaxing start to our holiday and we were satisfied with it.”

“First time using this lounge. It was OK. Nice surroundings but compared to other lounges I've visited would describe the food/snacks on offer as being very limited. Selection of some beverages was also limited - server said they were out of stock. Was busy when we arrived and so there wasn't really a suitable booth/space for my party. My father was in a wheelchair following surgery but we were kind of perched around a small low table.”

“Some of the staff at BHX are very grumpy and miserable looking and the manageress seems to delight in declining access to card holders when they are busy. On the other hand there are a few members of staff who are completely the opposite always smiling and willing to help where they can. Food is Ok and of the standard you would expect for this kind of place. Good selection of drinks available plug points USB ports etc. all very useful”

“Aspire lounge alrhough a nice refit has been recently done still lacks better comfort. Food is resonable along with Freindly over portective spirit bar staff. They only give half of half a measure so few unesssary trips needed to be slightly Inebriated. Had a quick look in the executive lounge and no 1 lounge both Looked really good. Buying a couple of meal deals in boots and a few drinks for yourself and the missus will come to more than the aspire. Its a no brainer and away from the hustle and bustle of a busy noisy airport. “It was ok for food and drink but there were not a lot of tables available and had to ask someone to help us find one. There are also not a lot of places to charge your phone/tablet and the kids area consisted of two tablets, both of which weren't working. The air con could have done with being turned up too.”
