“Nice and quiet, enough seats, food limited but okay, bit messy with crumbs and discarded crockery but the latter was cleared up while we were there.”

“The lounge is comfortable with good view of runway. The food was a bit disappointing due to the fact that the hot food was barely warm, and the cold option of ham/cheese and biscuits and a couple of bowls of salad weren't refilled regularly. They did bring a plate of homemade cake out, which was delicious. I was surprised at the policy of them counting the number of alcoholic drinks you were having (any more than 2 and you could be reminded about being fit to fly). I don't think they operate that policy in the bars in the main airport!!! Overall, I would still pay for the lounge to have relative peace and quiet”

“I thought the lounge was very well laid out, however there was no full fat coke, and it did take a while to be served at the bar. All the staff were friendly and efficient. Only point that let it down is that you had run out of ketchup and the food is left for quite some time under a hot light which cant be helped at times but should be changed a little more frequently as the bacon had started to grey.”

“to be honest we were disappointed - lounge is nice, drinks good but the food - omg what are you thinking about - curry was like a cheap frozen meal, rice congealed, pasta was dried up and to be honest the dishes were almost empty - never saw them refreshed in the 1-1/2hrs we were there, so made do with some nuts and a tiny little scone - hardly the perfect start to our holiday”

“I was singularly unimpressed when I arrived to find that the receptionist could not find my name on the list. I had to produce my receipt and then she did find my name - not a good start. Other than that the food was very good and the hot food was just the right heat. The lady behind the bar was very good and very busy!”

“Comfortable seating and clean decoration. Since alterations you have to go outside through the crowds to get to the toilets, this is very frustrating especially if you less to warm. Food not very good,no sandwiches or soup like Bristol airport lounge.”

“This visit was a complimentary one due to me complaining about my last visit to the lounge in T1. The lounge I felt was under staffed with plates left on tables for over an hour. The service of the staff was good & they were friendly & helpful. The food choice was very poor. I do not drink alcohol whilst I am flying, therefore usually have tea or decaf coffee. I feel that if I had paid for this I definitely would not have got value for money. The food choice was bread rolls, ham & cheese. Soup, curry & rice, scones or chocolate cake. In comparison to the Escape lounge where they have much more choice. I am sorry but until things improve I will not be booking the Aspire Lounges again.”

“The lounge was clean and spacious with comfy seating. Drinks were well stocked and staff regularly cleared used plates, etc. from tables. Food was not quite as good as we would have hoped, though.”
