Having used a few VIP lounges at different airports I was very disappointed at the standard of the Swissport lounge. I understand it is a busy time of year but the variety and quality of drinks on offer was very poor, there was not much to choose from and none that my wife would drink. Also there was not much of a selection of food available, only soup and a few nibbles. Overall I don't think I would use this lounge again unless things improve.

WE WERE VERY DISAPPOINTED - THE LOUNGE WAS BUSY, AND, ALTHOUGH THERE WERE SEATS AVAILABLE, THE AREA WAS CROWDED. THE FOOD WAS DISAPPOINTING. WE DID NOT STAY - WE FOUND BETTER FOOD AND LESS CROWDING IN A NEARBY CAFE. IT WAS A WASTE OF APPROXIMATELY £60, AND WE SHALL NOT BE REPEATING IT.

We found the lounge very basic. Uncomfortable seats. No ice, warm white wine and not a good choice of snacks. Overall very disappointed compared to the lounge last year at London gatwick. Regards Claire Misy

Even though we had booked and paid in advance on our arrival there was a note on the door saying 'lounge is full' . There were no spare seats, the lounge was very small and food was going quicker then you blinked. Not much variety of food from what we could see. Certanly not worth the money we paid compared to other lounges we have used. Very disapointing experience

I have been to Aspire Lounges before. This one was ok. Loads of beer and decent alcohol. The soup was quite good and there were crisps. The problem I had was that I saw a mouse running under a seat in the lounge. I alerted the staff. The section where the mouse was, however, was left open. I felt that the didn't deal with this well. We had to move seats. I thought to do nothing was highly unprofessional so for me this lounge is the poorest of the Aspire lounges I have visited so far.

I've never been a lounge where you have to pay for wifi (only 1 free hour-which wasn't obviously stated in the website). Need more comfortable chairs, recliners, couches etc. Food just average. Very crowded hard to find a seat together.

Too busy which negated many of the benefits of being there. Initially we could not even get a seat together and it was crowded and not relaxing

Two of us were travelling together. I was in a wheelchair as I have cancer and walking long distances is difficult for me. We approached the double doors (totally not made with wheelchair users in mind) and struggled to get both doors open, hold our hand luggage and get through the door. While this was happening two swissport receptionists looked at us struggling and neither came to help. While we were still struggling one of the ladies on reception loudly asked us if we "actually had a booking?" and that if we had she needed to see the paperwork. Not really the welcome you expect. The lounge itself was ok but the food on offer very limited and bar service very slow. We would not come back here again.

We were not given information about hot food and staff were scarce. No information given n reward card. Hot finger food had been standing a long time and was dried up and not edible service n hot finger food much fresher n other lounge. Staff were very nice when you could get them but mainly they worked in the other lounge.

Terrible choice of food-extremely poor! Soft drinks in large bottles, not always in fridge due to speed of consumption. Warm drinks.

We go to lounges every time we travel in and out of the country- this is the first time in 5.5 years we have not been able to get any snacks However self service drinks are still great

There was only a choice of soup to eat as they had run out of sandwiches, alcohol ok and soft drinks, however none of the tables were cleared for long periods of time.

Only one plug socket in the entire lounge worked... I needed to use my laptop and charge my phone but couldn't do this until 10 minutes before I needed to leave as there was someone else using the socket. There wasn't much of a gluten free offer apart from sweet things. There was no complimentary slice of luxury cake or soup and bread roll. I booked this as a treat before my flight for myself and my partner and son as we were flying out to south africa to get married.. I feel slightly dissapointed in what we got for our money. Staff were miserable, they weren't clearing up cups etc and the food was slow to get replenished. Lady behind bar frowned at me when I went up for a 2nd beer.

Nice staff at the bar abs reception. However very very poor food compared to any other lounge I've used...dry slices of cake rather than individual packs a couple of broken biscuits in a bowl , undercooked dry bacon roll and bowls of snacks which having learnt the facts re germs in shared bowls of bar snacks I simply wouldn't eat. Poor food hygeine there should be individual snacks I wouldn't book this lounge again which is a shame I usually love to start my holiday this way .

The lounge was too full to be considered comfortable and quiet, and certainly wasn't worth £21 each for me and my wife, we might as well have sat in the public areas which is what we will be doing on our next trip. We certainly won't be using it again!

I was very disappointed what was on offer at the lounge we waited 40mins for sandwiches to be available and when there was they wasn't a lot of options for the children Cutlery, butter and cheese had run out Staff seemed under pressure As not worth the money

We arrived at 4am and the room was absolutely freezing cold! It was so unbearable, I went and stood in the corridor in order to warm up. The lounge needs blow heaters to make it comfortable- never again!! The actual seating was attractive, the ladies were lovely, no complaints there. Very cheap bread rolls and cheap yoghurt - the rest of the food was ok. They had also no record of my booking, which was a pain as well. Sorry, but won't be going there again...
