Being our honeymoon, we booked the lounge as a treat to start our holiday off in style as this is something we don't usually do. As soon as we got through security, we were disappointed to see no real signs to guide us to the correct lounge and when leaving the lounge noticed the actual sign was below eye view! When we finally arrived at the lounge, we didn't receive the warm welcome we were expecting - it didn't feel special. We ended up walking aimlessly around the lounge for quite some time to find a seat - we found this highly unacceptable as it is easy to find seating throughout the terminal so in an executive lounge we would expect to find a seat! When we eventually got a seat, we were that packed in we couldn't really have a conversation due to lack of privacy. Despite this, we did find some good points - the availability of drinks and food were of a good standard. However, the negatives did outweigh and we ended up going to a bar within the terminal where we ended up having a better experience - good seating and space where we could actually have a conversation - this is something we found difficult to understand because surely when paying money to go to an executive lounge you expect a higher standard then what you can find throughout the terminal? This actually wasn't the case!

"Refreshments" were rubbish, not even a decent sandwich. The fee basically got me a comfortable chair away from the crowds, and some coffee. Won't be going there again.

We have been visiting executive lounges at Edinburgh and Newcastle aiprorts at holiday times for a number of years. As their popularity has increased we feel the experience has diminished. Comfortable surroundings but slow service, could hardly find seats, run out of bacon rolls. This occasion was well short of our reasonable expectations. Yes it was high season but either limit the numbers or deploy more staff.

Drunken travellers spoiled what was meant to be a relaxing start to our holiday.these people were allowed way to much over the recommended allowance so spoiled our flight aswell.

We were very disappointed as The lounge was small and very overcrowded, seating area was very closed up, impersonal and too warm. Selection of food was very limited; nothing substantial to eat before our flight. We are not big drinkers and felt we did not get value for money . I expected something substantial to eat, salad /cold meat buffet & breads or selection of sandwiches would have been nice. I felt most people in there just wanted to drink as much as they could before their flight. :-( on a positive note, reception area was very nice and staff were very pleasant; but they were running round so busy, clearing tables as they also ran out of glasses and struggled keeping bar area clean and stocked up with drinks and clean glasses. We won't be returning.

Selection of drinks ok, however there was a severe lack of food, we ate nuts, my wife had cold soup with a hair in it!. Unfortunately we will not be using it again.

In general it was ok although the food choice was poor and colleague serving the drinks was miserable. Welcome desk colleague friendly although was reading/on phone when not welcoming a guest. Need a visit to the v room to gauge what a good experience really is.

This was our first time in Aspire Lounge, having previously visited Escape. Aspire is a lovely lounge to sit in, and fantastic views out. But, sadly it was too much of a bun fight for food. It was a busy day when we were there, but there was only a single waiter on the bar (who was very professional and friendly) which meant there was a lengthy queue most of the time we were there. Standing queueing is hardly what you want when you're supposed to be relaxing before your flight, after just doing the same getting through passport control. Sadly the food situation was worse. Unlike the Escape lounge, where you are brought 1 x breakfast item per person for your stay, the Aspire lounge is as many as you like. Sounds great, I admit, but it doesnt seem to work for me. Firstly this was not clear, so I queued (at the bar) to ask where I got a bacon roll from, to be told that there was none left and some would be out soon. So I stood and waited..again. After a while I gave up waiting, but did then see people with bacon rolls, so I got up, but there were none left again. This was a pretty consistent routine throughout the 2.5 hours we were there for, eventually managing to (pracically sprint to) get a bacon roll, but never managed to get a sandwich when they started coming out at midday (our stay was 10:30am - 12:45). there simply wasnt enough food for the amount of people, who were piling up sandwiches on their plates (understandable when you can have as much as you like). Lovely place, lovely staff, lovely views, but I'm afraid, for me, I'd rather have a more relaxing lounge prior to future flights. Perhaps this was an off day, but given the price we'd paid, I'd say it wasnt worth it - that day.

Hello, when arriving at servis air, I showed my boarding pass, then I guessed I walk to the right hand side to go in, as she didn't say "if you go through here......" as we have never been into one of these lounges before, I was very disappointed, yes it was a lovely room with compy chairs, but there were no staff in there to speak to, or to help us show us were to go, it was all guess work. I can't believed we paid £52.97 for the service. It wasn't a good start to our holiday, we wanted to treat ourselves, waste of money. I never give a poor review, but as I said we were extremely disappointed.

None of the plugs were working so we couldn't charge our phones, there was a better environment in the restaurant Dexters and we could charge our phones. We won't be using the lounge again.

The lady that greeted us was lovely. There was hardly any snacks available the whole time we were there. We had to clear tables ourselves when we got there. The furniture and decor looked a bit dated. The wine was nice!

We were disappointed with the variety of food that was on offer. We would of liked a selection of sandwiches/baguettes, hot and cold.

Unfortunately on this occasion unable to give any rating as was provided wrong info by Agent as to why we booked in North Terminal. Tried to contact on day but without success to try and change and only realised afterwards why we could not contact Executive Lounges at South Terminal until we got there ..... as it was under refurbishment. There was a polite notice saying if booked into Executive Lounge we could use No.1 Lounge but on arrival there was told this only applied to certain airlines, Germania not being one of them! So no, whilst initially this was not down to Aspire/Executive Lounges, it was a wasted £15.99 each which we could do nothing about on the day. :(

There were'nt any beer or wine! The reason they gave us wasn't clear or credible. We didn't have any kind of reduction of that situation. The choice of food wasn't as good as usual. Really, we were offended, and don't worry, we will tell our friends!

The lounge itself is extremely small and crowded. The furniture is not very clean and due to the lack of space, people's belongings are strewn everywhere. The food available was limited to bits of cheese, crackers, and bread. Compared to other lounges I've been to at Manchester Airport, this was by far the worst and I won't be returning. It's a shame that all the lounges don't offer the same, after all they all cost the same.
