We were firstly met with a flustered looking lady at the front desk, who although pleasant looked harassed as she said she would "try and find us a table" In fairness, she did manage to find us a table to share with another family. My partner and I were going for our first trip away as just us in years so however nice the family were that would not our first choice. The room was over crowded and incredibly hot. The family we were sat with told us they were sent away the first time they went to the lounge even though it was in the paid time frame and both parties that came in behind us on arrival were asked to come back. The impression we got was it was grossly over booked. It was not in reality what you sell it at as and my partner and I were very disappointed.

Surprised and disappointed with quality of the lounge. Packed with people, NO FOOD available apart from cheese and biscuits. ( also some Luke warm liquid they called soup). Will not be returning. Very poor value for money.

Was highly disappointed, the food was dry and sorry looking, the little food there was. There was not a good range of drinks, only carlsburg beer. Also was very packed so had to sit next to the quiet area, we were afraid to talk as people kept staring! Felt out of place and unsatisfied

Very limited and poor value, would not use this one again. Used many lounges and am afraid this was not what you expect. Food on offer was cake, biscuits, crisps and soup. Drinks were served by a lady who must have thought it was her alcohol she was giving away and was not happy doing so. Cheap down market branded spirits as well.I Heard people complaining constantly.

Disappointing. Although the alcoholic beverages were good the food was abysmal with only one choice of sandwich offered (cheese savoury). It certainly didn't live up to our expectations.

We booked here for the 23/06/2015... Normally we would have used the escape lounge and how dissappointed we were. It is very dark area certainly needs better lighting and it was very hot. The drinks were served to you from a small bar area but in small measures ..smaller than pub measures, which made you feel like you were being greedy if you went up for another one ..would we use it again ..No...

Staff are fantastic, now give them a proper First Class Lounge to work in , no toilets in lounge, window which other passengers and children keep staring through at you, this lounge is obviously an ex- shop which has been converted very cheaply, this gives a bad impression of Liverpool Airport

Small, dirty, lots of uncleared plates etc. very basic seating, poor choice of food. Really not worth paying for. Not relaxing at all.friendly, welcoming woman on the reception but she was clearly overworked and unable to keep up with everything. Will not be useing again or recommending this lounge.

Did not enjoy the time we spent in the lounge, we got in there at 5.15 in the morning, there were no seats to sit down, had a long wait for the bacon rolls to be served, was not worth the money we paid.

Food very basic with little substance. Some kind of salami displayed as main course had huge notice exclaiming no pork in this product. Tables not cleaned when customers left.

Not the first time we used this Lounge. All our other experiences have been pretty good. This time, we were unable to sit. We got seats 10 minutes before we had to leave for the Gate. Please, don't overbooked.

The lounge was particularly busy and there was only one staff member throughout the entire time I was in there. This meant that lengthy queues for drinks occurred and items were not replenished. Dirty tables etc. I doubt I would use again.

It was two years since I last attended the lounge therefore it was the first time that I had used the lounge in its new location. The reception was fine but the lounge itself is in an enclosed room without any windows . The refreshment offered was slightly better then the original lounge. Table clearance was a problem. The ambience of the lounge overall was not as good as the original lounge. The main problem was that children have been allowed to use the lounge. Let me make it clear that I have no problem with the children it is with the parents who seem to loose all control of their children when going on holiday. Will I use the lounge again - well yes but I would probably up grade to the 'Plus' lounge

What a disappointment it was. I had used this lounge before although I doubt I will use it again. Two main reasons: 1) - Offerings 2) - Family room more than a lounge Offerings were very slim. Refreshments were limited to soft drinks and some juices. Nothing stronger. Even the ale tap was closed with a sign "Out of Order". Limited (but plentiful) assortment of sandwiches. When I inquired about it, I was told it was just temporary. I learned from someone else that it had been that way for five days. The lounge is associated with a bank in Canada and any international traveler with the proper debit or credit card can access the lounge along with all family members. This makes for a very noisy lounge and all seats are occupied. This is not what we expect when we pay £22 per person. Not sure that lounge should still be offered to travelers - At least not in its current state. Thank You (Used the lounge on June 24th, 2015)

Thought there was going to be real hot food not just a few bacon rolls in a heated cabinet! Drinks choice ok

Would have been nice to find hot food available when we arrived instead of having to wait at least 30 minutes for some. Apparently there was only 2 staff available and they would 'have hot food available when they had time'is not something that you want to hear at 4.30 in the morning when you have paid extra for a service. First time flying from Manchester Airport and very disappointed with your airport lounge service.

The staff were friendly and helped out where best they could. The bread used for the sandwiches was dry and the coffee machine was not clear, many people had trouble getting the right coffee. Apart from these minor issues the food and soft drink were lovely My main concern was the lack of communication. There was no alcohol service during our visit. It would have been helpful if we were told prior to our visit. Even more disappointing, we were not told at reception on our arrival. There was a crudely hand written sign on the beer tap saying not in service. It was not until after we went back to reception we were told 'due to administrative error, there was no alcohol service'. Customers like to know what's happening rather than being left to find out for themselves.

The poor staff were run off there feet. They didn't have time to do what was required so no bacon sarnies (however they were nice once they arrived but didn't last two minutes as so many people waiting). Nobody on the bar as they also had to fill up glasses and supplies so again people waiting. Children running around, parents should no better. Unfortunately wouldn't pay the extra next time not worth it. Sorry to be so negative but after so many positive experiences before this was the worst.

When we arrived at the airport lounge there was no hot food available. We had to wait 20-30mins for a bacon roll. No croissants or pastries available. Very disappointed with the experience and certainly not value for money. For less than we paid I could have purchased hot food and drink in the main airport. The executive lounge in gatwick was a far better experience and value for money.
