We have used the lounge before and have found it excellent value. However the range and amount of snacks and sandwiches on this visit was terrible. There was not enough food for everyone who had paid for it. The quality of what little there was very poor. The staff seemed unconcerned and not at all helpful. Will not use again. A waste of money.

For the £75 we paid for 2 adults and 2 children there was no food except crisps and a few cheesey nibbles. Not worth the money .

The room was small and everyone seemed on top of everyone. When i rang the bell at the bar and waited several minutes while all the staff were in the kitchen chatting, i was then told i couldnt have a can of coke from the fridge unless i was having a spirit to go with it. I was therefore instructed to go round the back and help myself to a glass of coke from a 2 litre bottle. I have paid for a service and if i wanted a can of coke what is the harm. Also the 2 litre bottles were pepsi. I dont like pepsi. I have used the lounges in LGW, NCL & LHR many times and all visits were enjoyable. This was my first and last visit to this lounge as it was a disappointing start to my holiday

This isn't a lounge (as others have already said in earlier reviews) and appears to be a disused restaurant. No signage at all to direct users. They insist on a paper copy of booking confirmation which is awkward and outdated. You have to ask for each and every drink which is hard when there are no staff easily available. Food looked awful so didn't even try it. Wouldn't book again and suggest you don't either.

My wife and I have been frequenting the Executive Lounge at Newcastle for a number of years and would give full marks. However, this year I think is the poorest yet. It should be called an Executive bar/crech we could not relax or read because of the noise of children in the bar. The new layout is not as comfortable as the old lounge and was quite full to overflowing and noisy. Will have to give consideration as to whether to use this facility on our next vacation.

Luke warm reception, no power to charge our mobile phones, limited range of snacks. However, at £15 for three hours it's just about value for money. Actually, on reflection, it's not worth it. Spent slightly more in Beijing and enjoyed a good shower, freshly cooked food, a well stocked bar and helpful, friendly staff, who welcomed me like a valued customer.

There were so many people in the lounge, it was quite awful. I came there especially to work, but it was very difficult to find even a place to sit... There was a line up to the toilets, to the cathering area... I usually love the place, but this time was terrible.

Having used your lounge for 1st time we were disappointed with the very limited food on offer, no internal toilets, could have been cleaner, (it wasn`t busy)

Myself, my husband and my daughter used the lounge before our holiday to turkey. My husband had ordered a bottle of prosecco as a treat for me. It took the staff 25 minutes to bring it to us. We only had an hour in the lounge so we ended up rushing it. I was dissappointed with the minimal choice of food. Overall I was dissappointed with the lounge and doubt we will use it again.

Firstly, it took us a good 20 minutes to locate the lounge. We received no information to advise us that the lounge was under refurbishment and no directions to the temporary lounge. Secondly, when we did arrive it was like a cupboard and certainly not what we expected. The snacks were okay but no Bailey's! There has definitely been a lack of communication not advising customers about the refurbishment and directions for the temporary lounge. Very disappointing.

As a frequent visitor to the sky lounge when going on holiday which is a good facility i think that i should have been informed that the sky lounge is being upgraded and is closed due to construction. The temporary lounge is a shadow of the sky lounge and would not have booked if knowing above details.

We arrived on sat 9th may at 13.30 we had booked a week prior. On arrival the only food was soup and crackers as they had "run out" of fresh sandwiches!!! If it is a booking system and we were expected how can they run out. We had to leave the lounge to eat in airport, I have previously used other lounges of the same price, this one is the worst in the airport and we will never use it again!!! You also have to queue for alcohol and the bar was never manned, we had 1 wine and left (the most expensive wine I have ever had) so will definitely not be returning!!!

I have used the lounge before and always enjoyed my visit But not on this occasion all there was to eat were crackers and cheese, the coffee machine was not working properly although the staff who were Excellent fixed it, also Having to call staff to get a drink from the bar is annoying , the staff tried to justify the lack of food to the fact that they had been very busy But Surely you should have allowed for this.

Bacon rolls were like bullets and were not being monitored, only got changed when asked. More staff than customers at one point, can't possibly cost effective. Refurbishment work seems to be taking forever and having visited the lounge a month ago I can see little, if any, change!

The lounge has been moved to a temporary location due to renovations. This was not mentioned at the time of booking, as a result everyone was shoehorned into a small stuffy room, with one ladies toilet. The staff did thier best to provide cheery service, however had I been notified that I would have been in a tiny room I would not have paid for this. Very disappointed as I am a regular customer.

On our visit last week the skylounge was closed due to refurbishment!! No where upon booking did it state this anywhere! Therefor we were crammed into a little room where we couldn't even get a seat.

My husband and I always visit the lounge before travelling. firstly it was not sign posted well that there was a temporary lounge and we had to walk all the way back again. There was not nearly the normal choice of food. Had we known we probably would not have visited the lounge on this occasion. I know that they are upgrading the lounge but surely this should have been communicated to us. The only positive was the girl serving the drinks was lovely.

Was not told they were renovating it!!!! They could have emailed us before we arrived. and found out it was at the opposite end of the airport which meant you had to leave early to get to ure gate. The first lounge was full so we got put into the over spill which did not cater enough with the food. The staff could not have been more helpfull especially the lady who took over many thanks to her. We felt it was a total waste of money and if we had been told we would not have booked it.
