I visited the lounge at the end of March with my wife on the way back to the UK, I had booked the lounge online and the whole booking and entering the lounge process was very simple. I was slightly disappointed at the lack of choice of food - there were only a couple of 'meal' options, although there were plenty of snacks and drinks, both alcoholic and soft drinks The lounge was quite large with plenty of space, although the chairs weren't as comfortable as they could have been. There were plenty of accessible charging point The smoking area was a huge bonus for my wife.

We had to stand and wait for seats to come available. Bar service was slow as only one person serving the whole time

The lounge was comfortable as usual, we had waited for a table that was being cleared by member of staff, after standing for about ten minutes waiting she then put a reserved sign on it, she unfortunately was not polite enough to let us know it was reserved and did not even speak to us. It seemed that all the booths had been reserved and had we realised this we would have sat elsewhere. The drinks available was as always good, the food was hit and miss, this is the second time I’ve used the lounge later on in the day and been a little disappointed with the offerings. Have used it several times early morning when food had a better selection and staff certainly less rude. Will continue to use the lounge as it’s great to be able to relax in comfort.

Disappointed with the lack of choices for a beer and food really bland. Shame as I’ve a few very good visits to the lounge previously. Thanks Andrew

I have mixed feelings about the Aspire lounge at Birmingham. The lounge itself is comfortable, the location and views are good. What's not so good is the range of food and drink that is available, other lounges at Birmingham do this better. Our stay was slightly spoiled by being close to a "stag party", loud and intrusive rather than offensive. Is this the lounge's problem? Should the staff have done something? Better than not being in a lounge, probably not the best lounge.

The lounge is in need of a bit of an upgrade it is getting very used looking. We found that the choices of food was very little there was only 2 hot things and both looked like they had been lying there for a long time. More staff would help them with table clearing ect

Food was terrible and as dry as sticks. The website stated chicken and chorizo paella would be available; we had dry beer rice or tasteless tomato pasta to choose from. Certainly would not recommend the food.

Feel the choice is very restricted (No biscuits. No cake left at 3pm & not much by way of snacks. Staff friendly enough but definite scope for improvement.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable chairs, fast working wifi and a nice selection of food & drinks. It would be helpful if it’s more clear on the website that the maximum duration of stay is 3 hours (or you need to pay $10 per hour extra) as you’re only able to find it after a thorough search. This kind of policy is not very common for lounges. Would still recommend the lounge!

Very busy, had to ask to join a couple sitting at a table, most people just waiting for their flights one party of “ladies” loud and trying to get as many alcoholic drinks before their flights

This was our first time using the lounge. It was unfortunate there were no toilets within the lounge area and the nearest were being worked on hence a short walk to the closest. The hot food was of good standard however the scones and cakes were not replenished and had been tidied away by 6pm. The tables were not emptied promptly and one member of female staff was not the most approachable and her attitude towards her duties and towards customers was quite off putting. This was observed throughout the duration of our time spent in the lounge through her actions, interaction with customers and body language which on the whole was disappointing as for many customers this is the beginning or end of a vacation which should be pleasurable.

To be honest I was disappointed, I have used the virgin lounge quite a lot and loved it so as a treat for my friends birthday I booked this . The choice of food was poor and not that warm . The staff were great and I could t fault how clean it was but I certainly dont feel it was value for money infact we both agreed the spinning Jenny would Have been better overall I wouldn’t book again

I have stayed in an aspire Lou ge before at Heathrow and it was much more luxurious. Maybe it was a different terminal but on this occasion not so good. No toilet paper in one toilet, in another no light and also they were just boring public toilets, previously the toilet was beautiful, black tiled. I purchased 4 lounge tickets as a surprise for our party and I was so disappointed. It was busy as I think there was a special offer so we sat on hard benches. The food was also not very interesting and very disappointing. I don’t drink alcohol so I don’t know about that. It would be better to charge more and have a more comfortable lounge, more luxury, fewer people. Better quality food. I wouldn’t call this an executive lounge, call it a private lounge.

First time we have stopped in Aspire Lounge in Terminal 2 and not impressed no problem with the food or service but the place itself is not a patch on terminal 1. It's smaller and we struggled to get a seat and most of the tables were only fit to eat off if you were 4ft tall. The place just looked like a works canteen.
