The Liverpool airport lounge is comfortable enough with friendly staff but there are a few minus points: first we lost about 20 minutes from our time because the computer system would not recognise our "tickets" (not just us, members with cards were having the same problem so long queues at the door). 2. No toilets and a long way to walk to them. 3. The food was fine but there were only 2 choices of hot, one vegetarian and one not, which would have been ok if they had not both been spicy, a bit of bad planning. Also some items ran out and were not replaced, not because of lack of diligence by the staff but because there weren't any more; also a pancake machine was prominently featured but was not working with no signage even to indicate this fact.

I feel that the food on offer on my last visit was not up to much (A chicken & Chick pea curry or Bland tomato pasta!) Previous visits have had much better food options.

Unless you like curry with lentils you didn't have a choice, cheese plate only had one cheese (chedder) no options, no sweet choice

I booked the Aspire Plus lounge, but was advised that it was not available a few days before I travelled and was issued with a refund and a pass for the normal lounge. It was hugely crowded and quite noisy. The staff were friendly and helpful, however, some of the food was not up to the normal standard and the bread rolls could only be described as rock-like. To be honest on this occasion (hopefully because the Plus lounge was not available) I almost feel that it might have been more peaceful not using a lounge. That being said I will be booking the Aspire Plus lounge again when I travel next.

Lounge was quiet and relaxing pre flight - plenty of comfy chairs and space. However food was dreadful - only had cold beans and scrambled egg, no bacon or sausage. There was no bread and when asked for it they said they didn’t have any - this was at 8am. One of the coffee machines didn’t work and there was also no pastries or juice. If you’re looking for somewhere cosy and quiet to relax preflight then it is a nice space however the food needs improvement.

+ Good selection of food and drinks - Very busy and delays to get drinks served at the bar with only 1 member of staff serving customers - Only allowed 2 drinks at a time and I was travelling with family ( 3 of us in total )

The T1 lounge is looking tired and the seat coverings were filthy, apart from that the food was good and there were plenty of staff there to help, maybe they need to get some cleaning done!!

Only allowed in 2 hours be fore flight even though it states when booking 3 hrs and once flight gate it up thet will not serve another drinks. Very small and you almost feel in the airport no where near as good as other lounges we have used even though similar price

Not the best the lounge was busy. Had to wait for clean glasses and hot food. No cutlery and the floors were dirty tables left uncleared. But the Soup was lovely as was the chicken curry .... and drinks from the bar was okay too! Would i book again? Im not sure.

When we arrived it was so busy that we could not find 2 seats anywhere. We were expecting a peaceful place to rest away from the busy airport. I went to the desk to say there were no seats and was about to ask for our money back when a helpful staff member went to find somewhere. Once seated we were happy with the service and food choices. However it was overfull and people were waiting outside to come in all the time.

Very busy. Frustrating as I ordered prosecco which I knew I would pay for separately for my daughter’s birthday which was the whole point of the holiday only to be told after standing in the queue for ages they couldn’t take payment at the bar and I had to go to reception. Paid and then had to stand in the queue again. Not really acceptable for an alleged vip experience. You need more staff. Also maybe need to be a bit more selective about who comes in. Stuck next to a table which was full of people who seemed hell bent on drinking as much as they could in the time available not much fun for the rest of us. Food average at best. Always use the lounge when travelling but need to rethink for my next trip

The lounge was comfortable and clean but the food and welcome were lacking. There was very little choice of breakfast and the staff were not very helpful or welcoming.

I ALWAYS book into the lounge & the Luton Aspire was one of my favourites. It is now however far too packed. It is no longer relaxing as people are crammed into every space. We asked for a booth & were told no, they were for larger groups, to see several couples seated at them whilst there. We were stuck on a table for 2 and had two other couples within elbows reach. We could hear their conversations & they could hear ours. The food is still good, which is the only saving grace. So so disappointed.

It was mid Saturday afternoon so very busy. The lounge was hot, noisey and the bar service was very poor and slow with constant queues. Still slightly better than sitting in the airport itself though.

The lounge is always very good, but it was very disappointing to discover the you have replaced Morgan's spice rum with a whisky

Compared to lounges I’ve been in abroad, Luton was very cramped and tired. The dining areas were crammed in and the soft seats need refurbishing. The snozepod experience never happened because there are only three units. The food and drinks were fine. I think the price was about right. Lastly, the lounge sign was obscured by another sign. I don’t know if it’s feasible but, airside would be a massive plus.
