Reception when I entered seemed a bit off hand and not overly welcoming. Sandwich rolls - all bread and very little bacon ended up eating just porridge !! Lots of tables full of used plates etc although someone did come clean up eventually Best bit was the view, but for VFM - will go to 'escape lounge' where I usually book - for the extra onepound, I get better service, choice and freshly cooked food I only booked Aspire because it's always very busy in escape lounge and now I know why. Sorry !!

The free bottle of prosecco that should have been on my booking was missing but we did receive it after an hour or so. There were quite a few tables needing to be cleared when we arrived which made it look a bit untidy but it was fine and the staff very nice.

Really enjoyed experience. Only complaint would be no hot food with the exception of soup (which was really tasty).

We were happy with the overall peace in the executive lounge. It is a shame that there were building works which caused some noise and colder draughts. We understand that these works are essential, however perhaps a reduced rate to compensate would have been appropriate at this time.

having recently used the same companies lounge in Manchester I was disappointed at the facilities. Breakfasts not prepared and available, things just simply not ready . Coffee not great. These seem like small things but standards are standards and a little disappointed. Using the facilities as part of the IOD.

Having been to many executive lounges for the start of our holiday, I was impressed with the overall visual layout of the lounge. I was however disappoint at the fact that we couldn't order/ wasn't supplied with sandwiches as the escape lounge does. This is our usual lounge when we leave from terminal 1. The soup provided was warm at best and the liqueur choice was poor. I did like the available choice of snacks. However, the overall experience has not persuaded us to choose aspire next time but to make sure we book the escape lounge earlier.

There was a good range of snacks and drinks available, the seats were comfortable but unfortunately the USB sockets were broken and according to staff, had been so for some time. The WiFi was also a bit slow.

It was very quiet on the day that we visited, there were plenty of seats and we made ourselves comfortable etc. Disappointed that there was only a small selection of food - in our case just soup, over the lunchtime period. The cheese and biscuits, promised from 2pm onwards failed to arrive. We were a bit disappointed overall, but we did escape the crowds and relaxed, reading the newspapers etc.

Staff very helpful . Refreshments good. Would have liked lower temperature as seemed rather hot and airless.

On the Whole it was neither good or bad. Got seats ok although it was busy. The bar was not there during our last visit, I suppose introduced to keep costs down but I didn't like it. The ladies did work very hard but there was a wait to get a hot roll. Don't think we will use it again.

Only on entering the lounge was I acknowledged by any members of staff and I didn't see. Any interaction with other customers Didn't get that feeling of hospitality. Food and drink pretty good (except Thai beer). Not sure of a return visit Might go to no1

The long distance walk & varying conditions (from inside to outside temperatures) getting to lounge 41 at Schiphol airport is very problematic for guests.

There was no record of our booking when we got to the welcome desk and the woman had a problem with us not printing out the confirmation even though I showed her it on my phone and had quite a negative attitude

The place was very quiet, which was good, it was clean, which was also good, but the choice of food was poor really. I didn't expect full English or continental breakfast, but it was cereal and a few croissants ? Not really much choice.

Lounge chairs are tired, magazine selection limited. Staff at entry point quick to challenge authenticity of your reservation, so be prepared to have copies of everything to satisfy them. For some reason they apparently cannot or choose not to simply look up your reservation on a computer and confirm your identity. They will also demand a copy of your flight itinerary. Food and waitstaff are excellent, restrooms very clean.

This is our first visit to the executive lounge and although it was nice I don't think we'd return. The atmosphere and anticipation feels better in the public area upstairs. The executive lounge feels a bit dark and dingy with no windows and dowdy colour decor. I also don't feel the food available is the best choice or value. Sorry to be negative but this wasn't really what I expected. Thank you
