“Lacked friendliness, the quiet area was not quiet, people were using their mobile phones. Thought it was unnecessary to be reminded our flight was delayed and was we sure we did not want to come back later. Overall we were disappointed compared with previous visits”

“Normally given the excellent service provided I would have given this a very good rating but due to building works the lounge was very cold. Such a shame as the staff were very good as always.”

“Great environment, Good selection of drinks alcoholic and no alcoholic but not as great selection of food. It was generally all snacks and considering we were travelling at tea time it would have been nice to have a selection of hot foods. Not a good choice of magazines either Would be good to have prossecco/sparkling wine available especially as we were travelling as part of a celebration”

“Missing the VIP feel. Food very basic and not topped up when items run out. Plates for right food and nibbles also cutlery missing. Having visited lounge on several other occassions this was disappointing.”

“A comfortable lounge to spend a few hours, whilst waiting to board a plane. However, it was fairly crowded and the seats are too close to each other. Consequently, the lounge did not offer as much privacy as I would have liked. My wife must adhere to a gluten free diet (no wheat products), so she could not eat most of the snacks on offer. However, the self-service bar and the Wi-Fi internet were fine.”

“Polite staff. Would have liked a few more snack choices. Certain plug sockets were not working so couldn't charge my phone. Good choice of drinks and great view of the runway.”

“Was lovely to get away from the crowds and children enjoyed a good view of the runway but was let down by the unbelievably rude member of staff manning the reception on arrival to the lounge.”

“This was the first time we had used a lounge, although we have spoken with friends who had used a variety of lounges at Heathrow. I have to say we were a little bit disappointed. It may not have helped that we were there in the evening but we weren't over-impressed with the food on offer. The lounge was fairly full with TV screens blaring as well, and it wasn't as relaxing an atmosphere as we expected. It's a few months ago now, so it's difficult to remember details but I seem to recall that tables didn't seem to be cleared very promptly after people left.”

“The lounge was very busy and it was difficult to get to some of the food because of people making toast. We did not find it as convenient as other lounges at Manchester. However, the bacon sandwiches were excellent!”
