I booked the lounge for the 8th of October 7am.on arrival there were workman carrying repairs ( loud drilling). I requested a cubicle, but the rude attendants said that it was for executives. It was empty at the time and remain until we left. We were made to sit next to two people although there was a table space between us. I refused and moved further two tables which provoked a tut from the same attendant ( the drilling noise continued). The person serving us was not that interested, when I asked why there was limited menu, she just said it was due to Covid-19. If I was informed that this was the case I would have not booked the lounge and opted for a cooked breakfast in the main restaurants. There were 3 men, one looked like the manager who did not were a mask, while the other two wore masks, however when they stopped work for a chat along with the female staff member they all removed their masks.There was not attempt to distance from each other. There was no attempted to see if our meal of poor quality ( scramble powder eggs and cold stale bacon reheated and no hot toast) to see if we were enjoying our breakfast, the attendants were clearly not bothered. I am a frequent user of Lounges and I am totally disgusted by this one in Birmingham. I look forward to comments before I post my comments on tripadvisor. Your Bernard D J Gallyot

I have used on a pay per go basis in the past and always found the lounge a calming area before a long flight, so I purchased a year pass unfortunately, when I the lounge for the first time using the year pass which was a simple process quarantine restric changed our plans, but looking forward to using again when restrictions are lifted

We chose the exec lounge thinking it would be less populated than the concourses re Covid secure. In the event that wasn't the case. I wouldn't choose a lounge again as time was limited and I wasn't impressed with the food and refreshments offer. Not worth the extra expense.

This lounge is not worth visiting at all. It is nearly £30 and all you get is a cuppa and a minute breakfast. There is absolutely nothing for you to be able to take on the plane when before there used to be. I will not be using them again and would advise others not to, a very expensive and not worthwhile experience that spoilt the start to our holiday. Be careful not to be caught out as we did.

We used the lounge on the 3rd of October from 13.15. The greeting on arrival was very professional and friendly, the rules we needed to follow were explained clearly and precisely. We were shown to our table and provided with utensils for our food and a menu which although a reduced menu covered most bases. Drinks were served and ordered from your table as was your food and here are my only two minor issues. Firstly we ordered soup and curry with rice (we were asked to order both at the same time) the soup arrived promptly but within 90 seconds and before I’d unwrapped my spoon and seasoned my soup the curry arrived, this meant by the time I was ready to eat the curry it was luke warm at best. Secondly while I appreciate the work the staff did ordering a drink was a bit of a mission as there were only 2 staff serving the whole lounge with a third pouring the drinks, at one stage we were without a drink for almost 20 minutes. This isn’t t a complaint about the staff who did a fab job in the circumstance just highlighting things that could be improved and maybe add an extra staff member. All in all an enjoyable experience the staff worked very hard in difficult circumstances and the jam and clotted cream scones were amazing

Nice and clean, comfortable however there was only two hot meal options which were disappointing as none were to my taste. The staff were very welcoming and pleasant but not enough of them. On this occasion I wouldn't say value for money but I have been to the Escape Lounge before and that was much better value.

Hi yes we nearly always book the lounge when we are going abroad but unfortunately have had to ca celebrate the last 2 because of cancelled flights because of covid .We have always enjoyed the experience .thank you

First time in an Executive Lounge. Extremely impressed with all staff members, all very attentive, with a smile! During these terrible times we all have, it was a pleasure to relax, be waited on, before our flight from Luton to Rhodes. Will definitely use again, and hopefully try the “ buffet” system in the future.

Absolutely appalling service!!! We were sat waiting for service for 20 minutes, eventually I asked a passing waitress for service and she said she was busy. We walked out and went to the bar, where the service was fantastic I may add. Will not use again. I am a travel writer and I have reviewed the lounge for the publications I am a member of.
