It was my second visit to the Lounge and I'm sorry to say we were not impressed. The lounge was quite busy (much more than on my first visit in November), with crying young children that made the idea of a "relaxing" atmosphere an unattainable dream. A very low wall encloses the area without cutting out any of the ambient noise. A suggestion would be to make the separation more concrete, with a real top to bottom wall (a glass panel to avoid creating a claustrophobic area). Aside from the high noise level, the food was very disappointing: generally bland, with a very limited selection of nibbles. The cold pizza pieces could have been warmed up or, even better, altogether replaced by freshly baked (thin) pizza pieces. Small rolled slices of tasteless ham, morsels of white cheese (probably cheddar but again very ordinary), and peanuts were the only nibbles offered. For a fee of 40$, one would expect better and more diverse food and a more comfortable and quiet experience. I am not sure at all I will return.

Limited seating. Very little food available. The only hot food was soup or bean casserole, no cold food and just plain biscuits as a sweet

I asked for a gin and tonic at the bar to be told they had no tonic - I was flexible and asked for a vodka and Diet Coke only to be told there was no Diet Coke - I reluctantly asked for red wine which was served to me. On returning to the bar for a second drink I suggested to the bar staff that they could borrow the mixers from elsewhere and was met with a very short tempered reply stating that on another day this may be possible but - in her words - not today. We have used this bar previously and enjoyed the experience which led us to book again but I would seriously question booking in the future which is unfortunate as we are frequent travellers and want to enjoy the whole of our time away from home.

Lounge was over crowded. Woman serving drinks scowled at guests. Power sockets didn't work near where I finally managed to get a seat. Stayed 40 minutes then gave up and went to sit in a comfortable restaurant instead. Waste of money.

The lounge was crowded, the selection of food was poor, and all in all I considered it poor value for money, and I would not book it again. We were not able to access the lounge until just before our flight was called, as we were not allowed airside for ages after we arrived at the airport

The lounge was very busy and noisy, and the food (both in terms of selection and quality) did not meet my expectations. I ended up leaving the lounge early to go to a nearby Starbucks where I was able to get better coffee and food than that available in the lounge, and enjoy same in quieter surroundings.

I use this lounge frequently. The drinks selection available this time was poor. For example there was no gin or tonic. Food was good and it remains a great environment in a poor airport to wait for your flight.

We were told on arrival there were limited choices due to no delivery. Food was ok but not a great selection. Meatball pasta had hardly any meat in there. We paid in advance £24.99 each not worth it on this occasion. The staff however were very friendly.

Poor selection of cereal, bacon very fatty the biscuits where very basic normally I’m used to cereal bars etc but it was just a jar which everyone just put their hands into. Bar attendant was rude not a patch on the Escape Lounge.

Executive lounges did not make me happy. Was slow to get booked in to the lounge as opposed to those who had booked through other means. Had to forward on your email to the lounge. You need to sort this out. Lounge itself was good.

When we arrived there were no staff on the bar. The hot food was dried up remains and there was a bowl of dried up bacon which looked like it was leftover from breakfast (at 2pm) There were no bread rolls. Dirty plates and glasses weren’t cleared away. Overall a very disappointing experience. Unfortunately we have already booked the lounge again for later in the year and hope it will be a more positive experience.

You used to be able to help yourselves to drinks. Now you have to queue and even then you run out of glasses. Not like it used to be. Not very good value for money. Room was very buwsy but I should imagine that will change soon.

Half the lounge was taped off for Singapore airlines. Our party of 3 had to wait for available seats and initially we could not sit together but had to wait for people to leave. Everyone was running round trying to grab chairs so they could sit together and then 4 people were sat round a very small 2 person table with no room for plates and drinks.

The lounge was extremely busy and appeared to have been 'oversubscribed' for the time we were in. We were greeted at the entrance by staff with the comment 'Sorry buts its a bit of a mess in there.... we have been really busy.' This was quite true and there was no food availible at first as staff were clearly catching up with demand. Once food did arrive it didnt last two minutes as everyone who had clearly been waiting for a long time rushed up to get it and then it was back to nothing being availible. I have used the lounge many times before however this is the first time it has been dissapointing. The ammount of people needs to be limited for allocated time slots....
