I paid over £40 for 2 adults, 1 child to visit this lounge before a long haul flight. Extremely disappointed with the lounge for many reasons-poor facilities, bland decor, dirty with used plates & glasses on table, over crowded, poor choice of food & drink (only soup, cheese & biscuits, flat cheap supermarket soft drinks from opened bottles available), no atmosphere, some of the electric sockets weren't working so we had other people's phones charging at our table. We stayed 10 minutes then left. Will definitely not be returning, save your money.

An absolute waste if money!!! So disappointed and completely let down. £30 for bowls of nuts and soup that looked so bad as it was congealed on the top. Everyone in there on our departure date 13/2/15 were complaining. I actually tried to email service air whilst in there However the email bounced back and then redirected me to swissport customer services, which I emailed again.........surprise surprise, it bounced back!!! Absolutely shocking and should be done under the trade description act. Even the concierge staff said "everyone complains" am I likely to get my wasted £30 back? I doubt it, they're not that scrupulous. I feel sorry for the staff working in there who have to listen to the constant displeasure from the duped customers. Never again! Review on Trip Advisor too.

A second-rate lounge in every sense. Won't be using again. Booked in error by my PA who saw it was less expensive then No. 1 Lounges and we didn't need the FastTrack access they provide as it was included with airline ticket... but service and visitor offer was very poor.

Brand new lounge excellent with helpful staff. But temporary access involved 500m approach march through an unheated corridor. Not acceptable without warning at the time of booking.

The overall experience was appalling we walked into the lounge that was full of dirty tables and rubbish lying on the floor the lady cleaning up was to busy sorting her night out with other colleagues rather then doing her job and the gentleman behind the bar wasn't very approachable. I used the old lounge upstairs on numerous occasions and recommended it to quite a few friends but I will not be using the new lounge again due to the last experience and rise in cost that cannot be justified.

I have been to a number of airport lounges and this is by far the worst I have ever booked. The choice of food was so limited and not worth a fraction of the price paid. I was minded to complain at the time although didn't, but it was such a disappointing start to my summer holiday. At other service lounges I have been to, there is a great selection of hot and cold food, a good buffet, and a much better choice of snacks and drinks, for pretty much the same price we paid to have a dry pastry, cheese and crackers at Aspire. Apart from a small fruit selection, nothing nutritious or substantial was on offer. I will never use Aspire again unless vast improvements are made. I would not recommend to anyone and regret having to write such a negative review.

Worse than very poor actually .I have used this lounge when I have been flying Emirates business class and also travelling on other airlines. I was disgusted to be showed through to the children's lounge at the back as normal we sit in the front lounge .If I had known this was where we we're going to be I would never had booked it. I am all for children being able to attend your lounge but 2 points to mention are I book this lounge so I can sit in peace and quiet and relax before flying and two the lounge at the back was filthy, the chairs were ingrained with dirt , the self service was not of the standard of the front lounge and all in all a terrible experience .

I Was told a lot of good things about the lounge and when I turned up I was very disappointed. I was told you could help yourself to your own drinks and when we arrived we were not allowed to. There was also a poor selection of food to offer.

Having always used the lounge in the past I was looking forward it. Was very disappointed to be pushed to the very back of the lounge which consisted of old broken and very dirty furniture covered in glasses and rubbish. Went to go to the other part of lounge that was clean and tidy and full of staff, to look out of aircraft to be told was now for first class passengers only. On previous occasions in lounge had always sat in that part of lounge. Pushed again to the back of lounge with all the mess I had to ring to be served a drink, when before you helped yourselves to be told by staff we were to be monitored on the amount we were drinking. I found if quite insulting I understand that people need to be responsible going onto an aircraft but the way7it was said and done was terrible, I had to clear a table for myself the member of staff decided whether the person behind me was "allowed a drink". Overall a terrible experience packed up and went to one of the bars in the main lounge will not be paying for what was once a great way to start holiday.

Stayed at this lounge earlier in the year during refurbishment. Cramped and filthy with carpets sticking to your feet. Contacted customer services three times but the company policy appears to be ignore anyone with a complaint.

I am extremely disappointed with the lounge - the food was terrible with no hot food options - basically I ate cheese and biscuits as it was the only thing available which I considered edible. The Lounge was dirty and not well cleaned and the staff were hard to find. I paid a lot of money for a glass of inferior wine with plastic cheese - the biscuits were ok. A terrible place and I will never be back. Daniel Byrne

Having phoned prior by several weeks to check whether we needed to book, we were assured that we did not need to. On arrival at the lounge we were told that we were not allowed in as a party of thirty had booked and there would be insufficient room . We were disgusted as a party of two families of three, had the disappointment and humiliation of being turned away when I had phoned prior . Really really disgusted. It then cost us approx £50 to purchase rolls and drinks for our party. A complete waste of money.

Not very impressed. You have now restricted the amount of alcohol we are aloud to consume which is now not worth the entrance fee. Also we were told to sit through the back of the lounge which included children We have visited Glasgow Airport 3 times since our visit to your lounge and decided on all 3 occasions to stay in the bar down stairs where we can enjoy a cooked meal and choose to consume as much alcohol and food as we like. So unles you decide to change your rules and regulations we will not be visiting your lounge again.

We have never been to such a meanly stocked lounge in our life. When we arrived the there was a few biscuits to eat, no orange juice ( but when two more guests arrive with one child the woman put some orange juice out) the woman was looking scowling at us when we went up to the buffet. the only thing we could have to eat was cornflakes, i did ask for crousants but was NO there is not any. the view from the windo w was totally obstructed because a white van was parked right across the window. Total waste of money, not relaxing and did not make a good start to our holiday. I have always recomended the lounge from other airports to my friends i will NOT be doing the same for Humberside. A real shame because up until going in the lounge we were loving Humberside, and had the airport on out list to try and fly from again..........................but after the lounge that will not be the case Thanks for asking me to review.

Small and cramped room, disinterested staff, poor drink selection, 'pastries' dumped onto serving plates and cramped toliets from a bygone era. Not a patch on Gatwick lounges. Awful. Will not be using again. Very suprised to receive an email asking for a review.

We were dissapointed in this lounge we have visited Gatwick on many occasions and also Stanstead once. There were limited yoghurts no pastries or sandwiches and a few ceeial on offer. The bloody mary was perfect however both of the other lounges had much superior wine and offered welsh raibit and bacon sandwiches.
