I'm not normally one for writing reviews but felt the need to do so for this place...I had actually entered the wrong lounge to begin with being told it was the next one along. Entering the lounge the stale smell of the place the staff not exactly welcoming, very few people inside. The selection of foods which were available was limited to say the least ie..no sandwiches soup that was on offer was cold, the spirits were of cheap brands barely heard of! All in all not a great experience, I'm a great believer in what you pay... In this case..yes £15.00 is much but in future I think I'll be paying a higher price and hopefully the quality of both service and foods/drinks will be better!!! Would I return to your lounge? Definately not!!

Second visit to the lounge at Luton , aware of the current building work in progress but myself and many others were complaining of the cold air being blown into the lounge from the air conditioning vents. The whole lounge was freezing cold. The staff were unable to alter the temperature due to the vents open due to the building work. Informed us all to sit near to the entrance door to avoid the cold !! Chris Hayle Telephone 07749852374

Poor selection of food, no sandwiches etc. Choice of drinks was basic and the lounge was very uncomfy. Not worth the money I paid for it.

When I made the reservation saying I was arriving from the US They should have told me I would not be able to access the lounge once I had picked up my bags

We have booked on several occasions to stay in the Aspire lounge. Last time we had to complain about the noise a group of people were making and this time the same thing happened again. A large group of Welsh men arrived shortly after us, they immediately started drinking heavily, removing bottles of wine from the bar and knocking it back at 4.30 in the morning ! They were belching, swearing and generally being anti-social and totally oblivious of anyone else's comfort. My partner complained and the girl on the desk asked them to keep it down. They didn't and then my partner complained again. Although everyone was being affected they did not feel brave enough to complain as they were quite intimidating saying 'whats wrong with you miserable lot we are just on holiday having a good time'. Just before we were leaving a senior member of staff came in and dealt with the situation very efficiently and asked them to leave saying their behaviour was unacceptable. They again were very verbal and knew it was my partner that had complained, he had gone to buy a paper at this point and they gave him some abuse outside the lounge when he came back in. Your lady then personally went round and apologised to everyone in the lounge which was very good of her but we were then leaving and felt £40.00 to be sat in a lounge that is supposed to be quiet and relaxed was a compete farce. As this is the second time this has happened I doubt we will use your facility again I am afraid, we might as well just take pot luck and sit outside, at least we can move away from objectionable people if we are outside.

I have stayed at this lounge at least four times previously since July of 2014. Usually a fairly pleasant experience, except this last time, which was horrible. There were about 100 too many people in the lounge; I could not eat, get a drink or even sit down. No cups, glasses, silverware, plates. In short my money was completely wasted. I left after less than two hours. This reflects a total failure by management to monitor and control the situation. If there were a fire or any kind of emergency it would have been chaos. Obviously the lounge was overbooked and/or many people overstayed their alloted time. Next trip I will just sit at McGettigan's while waithing for my flight.

I and my family were very disappointed with the Aspire lounge. Although the accommodation was comfortable enough, though quite cold, we felt the choice and variety of food available was extremely poor. We had a limited choice of cheese and crackers, crisps, nuts and soup. Although later the staff did bring out porridge, that was at 8 o'clock in the evening. I also observed the staff picking up olives straight from the bowl on the bar, whilst staring idlely out of the window. All in all the worst of many lounges we have frequented. Compared to other lounges at Manchester I will not be booking with Aspire again.

Got a feeling that we were not welcomed. After arrival we were called upon on the calling system and was told that our visit was limited to three hours maximum. This message was given when there was a lot of persons present, and we did not appreciate this approach. The message could have been given in a polite way when we checked in. Therefore, we felt a B-stamp in our forehead during our entire stay, and were happy when we decided to leave you, P.O. Foss

I was very disappointed with my overall experience at aspire lounge. Firstly after a long flight from vegas and a 5 hour layover in Gatwick, myself and 11 friends thought it would be a good idea to book the lounge in order to get some breakfast and relax in a comfortable and quiet surrounding. On arrival we where told that they normally do not allow big groups to book and that we better keep the noise down. I was very annoyed and offended by this comment. Next to our dismay all the cereal and hot food was put away, note that it was not even 11am yet. when we asked if there would be any more food made available we where told no. the only food available was nuts, cheese, olives and crackers, although there was a large election of beverages mainly alcoholic in which I would be taking advantage of as it was too early in the morning to be drinking. It must also be noted that the cleanliness of the lounge was extremely poor. the cups and sauces were very dirty as was the toilets and the walls had splash marks all over them. Unfortunately due to our experience we will not be booking the aspire in the near future. regards declan

We arrived in the lounge last Friday 2oth march at approximately 11.30am - our flight to Tenerife was via Thomsons at 13.30pm. On arrival we were informed that stocks of food and drink were virtually nil as the staff were awaiting stocks - the lounge was as busy as I have ever seen it and a lot of disgruntled people were of the same opinion as me a complete shambles - As our day pass was pre booked as were a lot of others the team / management should have been aware on the volume of product that would be required. - No food no drink - what were we paying for ? I went and bought a sandwich elsewhere in disgust - why couldn't the management team went and purchased supplies elsewhere to keep customers happy - seemed a complete shambles with one poor girl member of staff trying to fend off complaints. I can assure you I wont be using this service again - a complete waste of money Stocks started to arrive about 12.30 and the staff ran back and fore with a couple of bottles of wine etc - but I did not see any food on offer I leave you to draw your own conclusion

We weren't greeted warmly on arrival - not sure if it was due to us being 5mins early or that there was 5 of us. Then sandwiches were gone in 5mins and we were told no more were available. Think you need to put more staff on, one girl had done 2 very long shifts back to back.

Unfortunately we used the lounge between breakfast and dinner so all the hot items had gone and the lunch items weren't yet out. I felt all in all the only way this lounge would be of any real benefit is if you drink a lot of alcohol which at that time of day neither me nor my other half did! The lounge was not good value for money as we had a soft drink each some pretzels and mixed nuts POOR!!!

I arrived a couple of hours early for my flight so this was a great opportunity to catch up with emails - but the WIFI was down - when asked what I could do they said use the free 45mins that the airport offer and then pay - having just paid £19 to access the lounge! I suggested a refund - and was told to email customer services - which I did on 6th (it is now the 13th) and I am yet to get a response.

My experience was awful as I am a wheelchair user and could not access your lounge at Copenhagen airport. Nowhere on your site you bother to mention this fact. Please fix it a.s.a.p. This is humiliating and not accepteble.

Have used this lounge numerous times before and it was excellent. Couldn't understand why the price had gone down but now we do. Very poor selection of snacks - choice of 3 cereals, dry pastries and tea & coffee out of a machine which was as synthetic as you could get. All the wines were Blossom Hill or cheaper and all the spirits had less than an eighth of a bottle in them. Needless to say there were very few people in there. Shan't bother again will pay the extra and go to the No1. Hilscookies

Ive used your lounges a lot but there is a decline in standards of behaviour that you are tolerating in the lounge in T1 Manchester. Swearing to an extent that it is becoming more usual in this lounge is a great disappointment and probably a reflection on the fact that people are consuming free alcohol throughout their stay. That said you do invite people into your lounges to drink at no cost. The most disheartening factor though is that your employees are not dealing with the behavior. When I pointed out this type of behavior on a recent use of your lounge where I had to move on two occasions I was told that the lounge did not have enough employees to be able to effectively monitor the behavior of guests. To me this is just poor resource planning on your part. The Manager that I spoke to was very good, she came to find me and explained that bad language wasn't tolerated and that she would monitor the situation and if necessary would eject the people concerned. Im flying from Manchester again on Monday and will give your lounge one last chance. Overall the apparent tolerance of bad language, and or poor resource planning so as to manage situations by your company / employees has dragged down my opinion of your company. Alan Moulton
