Was very disappointed with the start to Our holiday at Gladgow Airport lounge which was a birthday treat. It was a help yourself bar which closed at 8.30pm. Not much food either apart from crisps & cakes. Would not waste money going there again. Everyone sitting on top of each other. Total letdown.

We were booked in for 0900 on the morning of Sunday 10.05.2015 as a group of four. And it was a disaster from the start first we walked all the way to where the lounge is normally situated only to find it was closed for refurbishment and had to walk all the way back the way we came. When we eventually got to the lounge we were welcomed by a very stern faced woman who did not looked too pleased that we were there. Firstly there was no toast or hot food only cereal and second rate crisps, pretzels and nuts. Then we were told very bluntly that we would only be allowed four drinks each and would have to ask to be served I found this unacceptable as I have booked sky lounges before and we were not limited to the amount of drink available. Overall I thought that the sky lounge was a very poor experience that is overpriced and over rated we could have ate and drank cheaper outside in one of the bars. I will not return. P.S we travelled from Manchester in July and that is by far a superior lounge with help yourself beer in fridges and cooked meals on offer and more pleasant and helpful staff. Mr John mcabney

Visited the Aspire Lounge on 4th May 2015 as it was booked as a surprise for our friends 25th wedding anniversary. We arrived at about 10.45 to be greeted by a rude, unprofessional member of staff, who made our friends feel extremely uncomfortable as the paperwork we had wasn't the correct documentation. After a few minutes, and a lot of complaining from the female staff member our booking was found and we were given permission to enter. Once our friends were seated I went back and challenged the staff member explaining the situation and how she made us feel at the beginning of our holidays on a special occassion, She was flustered and did apologise to me but made no attempt to go over to my husband and our friends. Once inside the lounge the area was clean and comfortable, but food was almost non-existant with only mushroom soup, crisps and fruit cake to choose from. This was dissapointing as we planned on having something to eat (sandwiches etc) before out flight which was scheduled for 2:35pm. Instead we called into one of the shops and purchase a couple of sandwiches. We choose to book ourselves and friends in to the lounge rather than purchasing a gift as we though the memories would mean more to them....how wrong we were. Mr and Mrs Jason Whittle

It was awful, a waste of money. I expected at the very least a selection of sandwiches and soup but all that was on offer was disgusting lukewarm tomato soup with stale rolls and some biscuits and rubbery cheese . The staff were not helpful - a " take it or leave it" attitude. I would not recommend this service to anyone .

Paid to basically sit in a restaurant that we could've sat in for free. Really very disappointed. Would not trust or use Swissport lounges again. Feel completely ripped off.

We received no notification that the lounge had closed in Glasgow and arrived there to find the door closed - noone was able to direct us to the temporary lounge which we wasted 25 mins finding. We had asked several staff withn the airport who knew nothing. Very slow service in the lounge as when lounge busy you to wait until large crowds were served before you got your two drinks as staff are serving you now. Not worth £18 each and just for your info we have used your lounge for the past 12 years. Would not consider going again.

Booked this for our very first time, we were not informed that the excecutive lounge was being refurbished. We entered the excecutive lounge, it was small cramped space, we as a couple could not see two seats together, it was noisy, warm and not what i expected, we told the girl at the desk that we would not be using this facility, she explained that she would cancel this and that i should contact our tour operator for a refund. She also said that we should have been informed. we booked this direct with glasgow excecutive lounge, so i find this to be really poor service

This is the 3rd time we have used this lounge but on this occasion the lounge was overbooked we had to wait 15 mins to even get a chair. We were then given 2 chairs (4of us) sat in amongst another group when the next flight left there was more space. The only food on offer was a very tangy Luke warm tomato soup, the place was dirty not really what you expect when you pay over £50 it would of been cheaper for us to go and have a full meal at Frankie and Bennys downstairs. Won't be using it again . The staff were very pleasant though.

The lounge was under refurbishment and not advised at time of booking. Temp lounge was too busy and not enough seats and had to stand.

In arrival to the loung it was full and had no play area. We were told we would have to share a table and at that we left. I understand it was temporary as the loung was being done up but it would have been good to have been notified of this before we got there

will never book again!! first of all having booked it only 2 days before using it, we were not informed that the main lounge was being refurbished and we would be in a much smaller lounge with poor air-conditioning and no ventilation, we then were packed in like sardines, whilst they squeezed everyone. Secondly, at no point during our booking were we advised if 4 women turned up wearing the same t-shirts (NOT FOOTBALL COLOURS, NOT A BRIDAL PARTY) we would be refused admission. This happened immediately on entry, the non-too-pleasant female boss on duty advised us we would not be allowed entry as we all had on pink t-shirts with writing on the back which would not be obvious when sitting down. she done this in an extremely humiliating fashion, clearly audible to everyone around. I then happily agreed to leave if she would refund us there and then, this was refused, so I refused to leave. I was advised to put on a cardigan, which I agreed to until I realised the lounge, as mentioned was over filled and stuffy. Her customer care skills then were enhanced further when I received an electric shock from my friend when I took a glass from her to take back to save the staff. I pulled my hand away and the glass dropped, we were left to clean it up ourselves using damp napkins, the torn faced manager on duty's reaction 'I thought your pal was joking' no love, that's what the big smashing sound was. At no point did anyone show us where anything was, thanks to other customers who were practically sitting on my lap, we at least found the crisps and the wine. Never ever have I received such dismal customer service and poor value for money and I will take great pleasure in reviewing various other sites. thank you for nothing

The area was not as advertised and we were in some small cramped room that clearly couldn't cater for the amount of people in the room. There were also children there despite this place being advertised as adults only. Another thing was the dress code stated that there were no shorts but many of the guests were in shorts. Not a good experience at all and will not use this awful service again.

On arrival we were told we could not use the lounge until 1730 as it had been booked by some private party. There was no indication of this at time of booking. we also discovered that the lounge was undergoing renovation, again no indication of this on your website. There were not enough seats for everyone and no air conditioning making it a very unpleasant experience. Not very good value for the considerable money we paid. Overall we shall seriously consider using this service again and we will not be recommending it to anyone else.

A member of staff was very rude when asked how to obtain a drink.I have used these lounges very often in most airports but because of one rude member of staff in this facility I will have second thoughts when choosing this lounge again .

The lounge was too busy on arrival hut because I had prepaid there was nothing I could do, except leave when the noise and hassle became too much. The follwoing days contact with customer services resulted in them admitting it was 'oversubscribbed' and a full refund. Thats a big plus point and I would possibly try them again, but they really need to sort out their greediness of not being able to say 'we are full'... Elderly persons standing in a paid lounge because there are no seats is so wrong at every level.
