Poor value for money. Low quality food. When check in, travel time etc is taken into account you only really get 1/1.5 hours in the lounge so don’t get your money’s worth. No atmosphere in the lounge. Next time I would much rather spend the £26 per person in the main bar where there is music, atmosphere and windows. Staff were really nice though which was a bonus. I also feel it promotes binge drinking as human nature is to get your monies worth.

Not as much choice of food and drink as there used to be. They have got rid of all the self service fridges. The buffet breakfast is tiny. There are only two small toilets for the whole lounge and they ate always dirty. Not worth the money.

Arrived at 12.30pm lounge untidy, newspapers lying around, some had articles t Ripped from paper, very few papers to choose from. Food 2 pasta dishes ,neither my husband or myself like pasta. Pork dish arrived as we were leaving. Salad either cheese or ham. Not good value for money . Very disapointed.

The place was a mess! Staff were stressed and just wanted to go home! Doesn't make a nice relaxing start of your holiday! Told the police had been in earlier. Drink was warm!

Tired outdated and very scruffy, and very difficult to find a USB point to charge phone, Staff weren't very helpful or caring. Never will use them again

Think it’s a bit over priced for children, bacon was undercooked and the bar was limited no cider on tap either wouldn’t recommend it. I’ve been to other lounges and are far better.

Overall I was disappointed with my experience in the lounge at Newcastle. It was gloomy and uninviting. There was a marked lack of comfortable, relaxing seating. The selection of food was poor compared to other lounges we have used despite being more expensive. I am unlikely to use this facility again and would not recommend it to family or friends.

The food was so bad I couldn’t eat a thing. There were 2 toilets for the whole lounge which was ridiculous

I expected an assortment of food. All that was on offer was the worst curry I have ever tasted !!

Booked a bottle of prossecco prior to coming, waited 15 minutes before I asked at the bar again. Staff don't look happy, food wasn't appealing, minimal choice and not the best start to our holiday.

We arrived at around 11:45 having left home at 7am we were looking forward to a coffee & breakfast. But was unable to have a coffee as ALL the mugs were filthy still had lipstick staines & dirty. When asking the waitress if there were any clean mugs she mumbled no they have been cleaned that's the cleanest they get. So after settling for juice we then moved onto food to find no breakfast just coucous beetroot & slices of ham & cheese.

It was ok but food wasn't really up to much to be honest. I booked for 3 of us at a cost of £75. Didn't find it value for money wouldn't do it again. Would of had better food and same amounts of drinks in the airport all in all disappointed.

You do/can get value for money if you like a few drinks. That's because of the high prices that are charged in the other bars. This lounge had a very poor selection of food in my opinion.

I realised upon getting to the desk that my visit was going to be a disaster. Half the lounge was taken up with Singapore airlines clients, who had the best seats for viewing what was going out and coming in on the runways. When I was told to go to the left hand side of the desk what I observed was a cafe style setting that I wouldn't be seen in, in any town let alone at an airport. I have been in many airport lounges and this is one that I will not frequent again. No I didn't stay for food and drink - I wasn't sufficiently impressed to do so.

Lack of food we were ingot two hours before our flight there was no selection if you didn’t like bacon sausage beans and rolls, we were still hungry asked for crisps as they were filling up bowls they said we don’t put them Out till 12 . As this was s special birthday treat for my sister as it was her birthday I was sorely dissapointed and will not be using your lounge I aid 26.99 as a special treat for my sister and her friend we were lucky if we spent ten pounds each on food and drink,I would have as well talking them to Witherspoon’s.
