For starters, I booked the Aspire lounge because of the lay-flat lounge chairs pictured in the advertising on the website. There were no such chairs when I arrived. Also, the lounge was packed full of people, often to the point of standing-room-only. It was very loud, and frequently smelled like a locker room because of all the sweaty people milling about. The food was adequate, what there was of it, however the food service staff was rude to me and other customers whenever it was time to replace the food. The staff would push customers, myself included, out of the way with their food carts. My overall experience in the Aspire lounge in Terminal 5 of the London Heathrow airport has convinced me to never allow any layovers long enough to merit any visit to an airport lounge ever again.

Food and drink good. Too many children running about shouting and screaming. It's suppose to be a relaxing atmosphere before our flight . Parents did not bother

Food choice and quality were very poor and it was too crowded and loud.

Food was poor ! Having to go separately to the bar when you are travelling with your son is a nuisance especially when we were sitting about 10 foot away from the bar ! The cheese and ham was poor quality and not replenished and the hot food was dried out ! We have used the lounges many times at Manchester and Bradford and always enjoyed them but I don’t think I would bother again at Liverpool !

Firstly I tried to book entrance for 9 persons. However, when more than 7 I was asked to call customer service in UK. They informed me that the local lounge manager would call me. As it did not happen, I reminded customer service in UK 2 times more, but still nothing happened. "Luckily" our group was reduced to 7 so I was able to book online a few days before departure - still I did not got any contact from you (the local lounge manager). When entering the lounge in the morning, we found the bread as if it was baked the day before. The rest offered in the lounge was good.

Waiting to be served at bar, I stood there for 10 minutes eventually I walked to front desk and asked the woman who was sitting there could I have some bar service, she told me rather sternly that “id have to wait, the other woman had to go and pick someone up” the other woman came back 20mins later, just as we were leaving.

Lazy staff leaving bar unattended. 3 staff members stood around chatting with approx 10 customers waiting at the bar. A small child dropped and smashed a glass and the staff provided her father with a dust pan and brush to clean up the broken glass himself! Unbelievable! Never again!

I booked this for my parents as a treat to start their holiday. I chose a this lounge over the other lounge at Edinburgh airport as it had 2 options for hot food. When they arrived the only hot food out was macaroni cheese which my parents didn’t like. They also said not many cakes out and scones were put out about an hour into their visit. Everything else was ok though but just disappointed on the hot food situation

The lounge is now overcrowded. on our recent visit there were'nt enough staff to cope with the demand. food ran out and when the food arrived the crockery and cutlery ran out. We couldnt even have ice in our drinks as it had also ran out, The staff were doing their best but there were just too many people being allowed in. We have used the aspire for many trips but unfortunately it's not the relaxing experience it used to be. Very disappointing.

It was allright, but at no front comparable with different (real airline) lounges.

I would expect there to be a permanent server in aspire plus and not someone that is in aspire whose attention you have to get in the back for them to come and serve you. They also ran out of some food items but they were available in the aspire lounge? Not really service with a smile but luckily was not that busy

Food selection was pretty awful, pasta or pasta and a few bits of cheese. They had also ran out of gin on the day. Would not use again.

Whilst the staff were very pleasant and never stopped working we found the lounge: dirty, noisy, poor selection of food, and minimal choice, que for check in, the bar, and for food when it arrived. The quiet zone was more like a war zone with people shouting etc children running round. My husband could not work due to this and wanted to move downstairs into the airport to find a quiet spot. our experience in the lounge has deteriorated each visit being worse than the last. You have sold your sole to the masses, we feel that the word executive should be removed from your description of the lounge as it clearly isn’t.

First time using the lounge it was over crowded not much choice of snacks, salad and pasta both of which my husband does not like. Also only 1 person on the bar ran out of glasses and had to wait ages for our drinks.

There didnt seem to be enough staff for the number of people you allowed in i waited over 10 minutes for food to be brought out the choice wasnt great and in that case everyone was waiting for the same food! thought it would be better organised

Very limited choice of food, especially hot options, way too busy, and an unacceptable long wait for service at the bar.
