Visiting the Edinburgh lounge everything was fine - were I only reviewing that one, I'd say it was "good". In the Heathrow Terminal 5 lounge this was not the case - it was very noisy, some seating areas were rather cramped, the lounge was poorly laid out, but most of all the heat... if the place has air conditioning, I'm not sure it was running, as the main terminal building was actually cooler than the lounge. As a customer, I paid a non-trivial sum so that I could relax somewhere quiet and comfortable between flights, and in this case it was a waste of money.

Food and drink was Ok but the lounge was quite small and I thought that the chairs would be much more comfortable. They were short backed, I was expecting easy chairs which we could relax in before our flight so I was quite disappointed

Short staffed, so long waits for food to be replenished and drinks to be served. The staff that were there were doing their best especially Alan? Behind the bar

There was no announcements in the lounge and we couldn’t see any screens, so ended up missing our flight. Also there was no atmosphere in the lounge it was very quiet and the drinks were tiny measurements, also the food was average at best

Disappointed with range of hot food on offer and overall cleanliness. Took us several walks around to find clean coffee cups. Glasses although clean still had bits of dried on dirt probably from dishwasher

We went early morning ally of tables had dirty glasses left on which were not cleaned for the entire time we were in. Staff just stood behind bar, coffee station was filthy.

Ok, I knew it before but there were no showers and the restrooms were outside of the lounge. The price was too high for this. The food was good, and the possibilitie to go outside to have fresh air is perfect.

Could not get admitted promptly for an important business call as my husband had the e-boarding pass on his phone and the booking reference number i had written down did not work. Had to make the call in a quiet spot outside the lounge and then go and find my husband to get his phone. Finally got access in time to grab a coffee before departure. I think i paid GBP20.00; it would have been cheaper at Starbucks. In future if you want to access the lounge quickly bring both the booking printout and boarding pass, as using your name and flight number at receoption is not enough to get access.

Hello Just a quick note on our visit to Aspire Lounge Ter 2 Manchester. We thought it would be a great start to our summer holiday by booking Aspire Lounge and how dissapointed we was. We paid over £50 to sit on Incredibly uncomfortable seats.All the best seats was ribboned off for Singapore Airline passangers who incidentally never arrived whilst we was there. The temperature was way to cold in the areas allocated,as was the food which was a little concerning as we arrived for opening at 4am which leaves us to think that this was not freshly cooked. This clearly is not value for our money we feel as we have been miss sold and definitely no way should you advertise on your website with pictures of seats that cannot be used by certain customers. I had to keep asking the staff for more food, the plates and baskets were constantly empty. I had to ask three times for a mug for a cup of tea. I didn’t find the staff that friendly or helpful, felt as though I was being a nuisance. Disappointed

No seating and seats all very cramped. We had to wander around for ages and someone gave up their seat so we could sit. It didn’t help that people were lying on sofas and families were taking up 2-3 times the space they needed. Food was canteen style and little of it We have had three poor experiences in a row with the lounges. We are going to sit in a restaurant going forward.

No entertainment for my two son's to keep them occupied before the flight. Extremely hot and will little or no air conditioning. Wasn't a great choice of food selection so ended up going hungry. Not worth the money we paid for it. Very disappointed.

Fair selection of drinks. Calm and relaxed atmosphere. Charging point for phone. Staff friendly. Very disappointing range of food. Had to ask for clean wine glasses, no knives available for spreading jam/cream on scones - when I asked for one I was given one but was told it was "the only one" they had. Quite sad that there was a notice asking us not to 'steal' food. All in all - better than the departure lounge, but not by much.

Date 17th May 2018 1pm GOOD: Great reception welcome. Friendly, professional, welcoming. BAD: There was only one type of whiskey available. The barlady was busy and capable but she did not look like she enjoyed her job and her responses needed to be a bit more friendly. Not professional. The food was basic and not much choice. At least at breakfast time, there is a greater choice for children. Nothing much for a family to give children. Choice was a strange soup, pulled pork within rice, far to much rice and not enough meat, all dried up.
