Not enough choice at breakfast, also I do not want to be served drinks that is why I booked with Aspire if you ask for a large gin they refuse I can only have a single that is not acceptable to me I will have booked for another couple of trips I am seriously thinking of cancelling them

Areas of strength first The staff member who checked us in was very polite, and was very helpful when I asked for a table to be cleared to enable us to sit down. Areas for improvement Little choice of food! Chicken curry, pasta or ham and cheese! The bread was still frozen and no good for a veggie who is gluten free! The queue for the bar was very long and took ages to get a drink this was due to there only being one member of staff on. I’m sorry but I think this place could be improved by offering more food choice; quiche, salad tastier ham? And you could offer a fridge for people to help themselves to beer and wine. Thanks Jenny

1. Limited food options, not as advertised. Cold pasta, no scones or cakes, everything was in short supply, had to continually ask for refill. 2. Staff - rude and unhelpful. In particular one bar staff, I think he was French, he’s definitely in the wrong job. No personality or charm. Only nice member of staff was Lisa (I think), helpful and actually went out of her way to assist.

Extremely full staff said too many bookings taken. Food was not a very good quality. Long queues for anything only one person serving drinks and constantly had to wait for food being replenished not a good experience , this was so disappointing we always book in the lounge and make it part of of trip but limited seating left and quite hectic not a good start to a holiday

Really bad :-( food selection was poor , there was no soup left at 1pm we waited 25 min for curry the broccoli cheese pasta had not one piece of broccoli:-( ... the place was messy and unkept ! Staff were ok but the tiny glasses of wine and plates were ridiculous ! A forgien guy was so rude and snappy ! No cider ? No bottles of water . This compared to escape was terrible I felt robbed

The staff were very friendly , and the drink selection was good however very poor food choice - nothing left at the time we arrived and we waited nearly 45 mins for hot food to be prepared - really disappointed - seemed to lack anyone replenishing items and all we had was warm soup crackers and cheese/ ham Have used the other lounges before and this visit was not as good as expected

The choice of breakfast was not good. The place was rather dull. Not enough staff for assistance. Needs brightening up.

This lounge used to be excellent but the last two visits the food quality was very low, not what is expected or usually found in an executive lounge. We decided we will stop using the Basel airport executive lounge, unless something changes.

The food was always empty, the plates were very small and it’s in need of a refurb...

Poor selection of food on offer, air conditioning needs upgrading, no bottled still water available, we have used the escape lounge previously which we found better and will use the escape lounge in the future.

Food was disappointing. Coffee machine (I think) hadn’t been rinsed through so I had a mouthful of salt which was very unpleasant

It felt a bit like being in a cafe no natural light no windows to look out of.

Food selection was poor little choice and not replenished enough. Visited the food bar 3 times over a 20 minute period to find nothing available, for the £50 I paid to stay in the lounge we found it lacking.

Menu has changed considerably since I last visited Adpire plus lounge, we were in lounge for nearly 3 hours prior to our flight and for the whole 3 hours the hot pastries weren’t filled up, it you didn’t like antipasto meats, cheese, soup or stale pasta there was nothing left on the menu you could eat! One member of staff was very rude to my husband when he asked if the hot pastries would be restocked! The aspire plus lounge used to feel special but I definitely don’t think it’s now worth the £75 we paid and we were somewhat disappointed!!!

Expectations were not met - booking was done through an agency so there was probably a communication gap. The main requirement was to be able to shower during our long stay-over and have lunch. While shower facilities were available - this was at a considerable extra cost. The booking was for 3 hours and we as a group (7 people) had to wait until space became available. We got a corner with an L-shaped bench (more suitable for 4 - 5 people). I found the tables and seating quite dense and not really a relaxing set-up. The food was nice although nothing exceptional.

The food was very poor quality, with very basic choices. The food was not replished regularly and there were too few staff. There was only one newspaper and no magazines. The overall experience was sadly one of disappointment, having used other Lounges in various airports which were far superior. Aspire need to review the standards of this Lounge. Unfortunately I will not be recommendeding this Lounge to family and friends. However, on a positive note the Lounge was quiet and it was good to get away from the hustle and bustle of the airport departure lounge but this is not enough to make me want to book it again.

The lounge seemed overcrowded and squished in. Food was not replenished. Scones were on offer without any jam or cream and not being able to get a drink for my partner who was at the table looking after our children seemed very daft. I can understand one drink per person but when you're travelling as a family both parents cant just go and queue up at the bar leaving the children unattended!

There was hardly any food left. The selection that was left was luke warm. It was supposed to be pulled pork with rice, yet it was just all rice. Ended up with cheese and crackers.

Visited last year before holidays and i was really impressed . Book in 3 hrs be for didn't happen. Tui didn't open till after 12 to get through security so by the time we got there I was disappointed. Food wasn't very good and struggled to get a seat. I think they had to stop people getting in as so busy. Didn't get a lot of time to relax as our gate opened at 2 30 approx . Won't be doing it next year
