It was ok, nothing special. Food was just ok. Sandwich filling was sparse.

No food left when we arrived and had to wait quite a while before more buffet was brought out .... the selection was very basic and quality poor ..... didn't enjoy it at all !

I had a mixed experience at the Executive Lounge at Manchester Terminal 2 - the service, drinks etc were great and what you would expect from a Swissport Executive Lounge, however, I feel that the decor really lets this one down. I have used the Aspire lounge at Terminal 1 before - it is brilliant and I couldn't recommend it enough so I booked the Terminal 2 lounge for my most recent holiday and have to say it pales in comparison - it is in dire need of a facelift and some natural light!

Our flight was as 07:45 and we arrived at the airport at 05:45. By the time we checked the bags in it was around 06:00 and we started boarding at around 07:10. This gave us only an hour and ten minutes in the lounge and I would therefore not recommend it to early flyers. On arrival at the departure lounge there were a large number of stag parties so the lounge provided a nice quiet area to relax. There were cereals, tea/coffee and fruit available but no hot snacks, maybe a bacon or sausage sandwich wouldnt have gone amiss. I dont know whats provided at other times of day but again maybe packed sandwiches or baguettes would be a good idea. There is a good range of alchohol and I understand that you can enter the lounge three hours before your flight so if you were flying later in the day you could probably get your monies worth. All in all I wouldnt recommend paying £18.00 a head for this experience.

As I said : Average ... Nothing really great about it but not expensive . Small and full so difficult to rest even in the quiet zone . Food is O.K. but nothing to write home about . And 3hours is too short, the web site is difficult to understand because if you enter your departure time, that means you are booking an even shorter time in the lounge ...

Although smaller than other lounges I have been. In, the Cardiff Airport lounge was comfortable and adequately stocked, particularly with local spirits, which were great to try. Where it differed from other lounges I have been in, is the fact that there were no sandwiches, rolls or any hot food. I was hoping to have something to make up for lunch, but only had the option of crisps and biscuits. The lounge itself was clean and the staff were very quick cleaning up.

Very little selection of quality snacks, no hot food apart from soup. Ok if you like cheese and crackers or crisps.

We thought this lounge was disappointing . it looked dull and tired . the choice of food was poor. Although we were there over dinner time there was only hot soup and one variety. There were no sandwiches or other hot options. Compared with other executive lounges this compared badly. The lounge was clean and comfortable.

Space is crammed We were not told at reception that there was a different place to nap or lie down till one staff came to scold me that I can't lie down on the long settees! So what did I pay for???I paid for 6hrs and didn't get my money's worth after a long Haul!Pity

Lounge environment very relaxing and easy to find. Beer was falsely advertised to be jupiler & hoegaarden when it was Heineken on draft. I thought the food selection was very poor.

The choice of food not as good as previously and waiter service at the bar , it was quite cool early morning as the air conditioning on overdrive . Not sure was worth the money and dont think will be using again .

Although the view and space was brilliant, the food on offer was terrible. The bacon did not taste cooked and the pastries were rock solid. Probably would not come again if my flight was in the morning.

We're professional travellers for 20+ years with mainly business class travel. This was with children so flying BA premecon and needed a lounge. We had been to Thorpe Park before arriving at LHR so hot and sweaty and wanted to freshen up and relax before 12 hour flight to HK. Check in was slow despite booking ahead online. I had the receipt on my phone but it wasn't enough. Only one person on reception with queue of five. Took 10+ minutes to get in. There was uncertainty over whether a table was available for us and we had to wait for that despite booking online. In the end we just took one that said reserved and waited to be hassled but we were left alone. We all needed showers (which is why why booked the lounge) yet none were available until after departure. So you should manage that better. We really wanted to clean up. Disappointing. Food was ok but send someone over to Cathay Pacific to see what the competition is serving. Drinks were ok but no doubles. Again, check out Cathay. Decor pleasant and not too cramped. Bar staff really friendly. Suggest you install power points or USB charging at ALL tables. Travellers need to recharge laptops and phones. Shouldn't come as a surprise. £120 for three hours.... Verdict: not baaaad....but with a little polish could be great. Call me if you want a more detailed review. Happy to help out. Thank you for having us.

As with most of these Lounges now, very limited food choice and insufficient staff to serve the number of people they book in. Total rip off off financially, staff do about 4 different jobs, but do have a smile which is more than most offer! Won't get your money worth in terms of food or drink but it is what it is, don't think they are any worse or better than competitors!

Lounge is laid out nicely and I made use of the shower facilities which were very nice. Food options were very limited and the service at arrival was a bit of a let down. They seemed very disorganized and it took ages to check in and book a shower appointment. Probably wouldn't use this lounge again as not worth the cost, there are better options.

Often use airport lounges at Gatwick. Booked this one for a treat for my mum and wasn't overly impressed. Wasn't a lot of selection of nibbles compare with others I have used. Couldn't find my details of booking on system initially, wasn't the best experience I have received for a lounge to be honest.

Sadly the lounge was overfull so, despite booking in advance, my wife and I were only able to sit in separate locations at high stools against a counter. The room was crowded and it was difficult to get to the bar or food counter. This is not the experience I had expected and I think it was because the lounge was still accepting walk-in custom despite being full.

I found the lady who was serving her drinks to be quite surly, in the job she is in hospitality I would presume the staff would be smiling and helpful. Other than the one lady the rest of the staff were helpful.
