Lounge was very nice but not much of a choice for children's food

On arrival we were met by two staff who treated us very poorly, we were travelling as part of a group of 7 but we each booked our lounge experience individually. The staff told us that we should not be allowed access because we were travelling as a large group, all this was said infront of other lounge customers, never in my life have I been so embarrassed!! Please look in to this at your earliest opportunity and rest assure I will not be using or recommending this service until I receive an explanation and apologies for each of the travellers

Although the lounge itself is in impeccable shape, and quite well appointed, it was very crowded and the food selection was average. Without knowing what its like at other times of the day, I would suggest that perhaps an increase in size might be warranted simply to provide for a little bit more room. Otherwise the overall experience was good.

We arrived in the lounge at 3.15pm - the only snacks available were a few dried up egg maionaise buns (left over from the lunchtime)' crisps & peanuts, cheese & biscuits' & soup. Surely for the afternoon arrivals there should be fresh sandwiches. There were no scones even though it said there would be on-line. The alcoholic drinks made it worthwhile - but certainly not the food side - very poor!! We were shocked at the dress code of some people - in shorts & football tops - even though on-line it specifically mentioned 'No football tops!!!'

The comfy chairs in the lounge were covered with food and I had to clear the table from plates and cups myself. The lady that served drinks seemed to be in a bad mood as she was very abrupt and impolite, I only asked what beer was available, she made it seem like I'd asked her to walk from lands end to John O'groats. The rest of the staff were pleasant and friendly. The only hot food was bacon barms, even though we were told that sausage barms would be served soon, we waited and asked for 2 hours and they never arrived. Overall not a pleasant experience.

I used your lounge on the 27th August, my flight departed at 21.20, my time of usage was from 6.30-930, as you lmow you need to get to your gate at least 45 minutes befor take off, i feel the time should have been from 5.30-830. it was a comfortable visit, your staff were efficient , the food offered was average, wouild like to see a few more cakes on offer.

I found the entry price rather expensive for what you actually got it return. I felt the food selection could of offered more hot options rather than soup. The other offerings such as sandwiches, cakes, olives etc were very dry. The bar options were very limited, one member of staff in particularly was very rude and it felt like i was being a nuisance asking for a drink even though I was entitled to this. The bar was also misleading they had vodka such as smirnoff on display however when asking for a vodka and mix it was a different vodka from below the bar which wasn't nice at all. I don't think i would go to the lounge again as your paying £20.00 per person and not getting very much food options. For that money i feel you could get a decent hot meal and a decent level of choice for drinks. Happy to discuss the matter Ray Matheson nufc_ray@hotmail.co.uk 07557945216

Comfortable and quiet surroundings but snacks were limited in range and short in supply. Soft drinks dispenser ran out of concentrate and was dispensing fizzy water only. 2 platters on offer. Cold meat and cheese. Cheese platter was empty and had to wait for refill. All in all, an unremarkable experience.

Friendly and helpful staff. Lack of a restroom inside the lounge is very inconvenient. I did not receive a receipt for my stay.

Whilst the concept is good, it was disappointing that when we arrived at the lounge at approx 1530 hrs, (after a 24 hour flight from Australia and prepayment & pre-booking), there were hardly any seats available. A lot more people entered while we were there who also encountered seating problems with families being separated. It was confusing & quite bizarre that you could serve beer & spirits but could not serve champagne until 1800 hrs. It was also quite odd for a lounge who charge for their facilities, the shower was extra, the spa was closed and you had to leave the lounge to use the airport toilet. We would not use your facility again as I don't believe it is value for money and it certainly is not a relaxing atmosphere.

Fairly comfortable. Friendly staff. Refreshments just about OK but the hot breakfast offering was pretty dreadful with scrambled egg that was way way past its best and bacon and sausages not much better. And the water in the hand basin in the toilet was so hot you couldn't use it and no means of adjusting the temperature. Overall, if you are using your own money it's not a good deal. But I guess most customers aren't.

We had to endure a massive queue in the check in/bag drop to get our cases weighed and given in whilst a member of staff on the premier desk clearly had nothing to do and was seen yawning on more than one occasion. When I asked her if she could help she refused saying she could only if we were at the front of the queue - which we accept but she could easily have taken those from the front of the queue to process so that the queue would have diminished faster. Hence our time to enjoy the lounge was marred from the lack of time we had there. On arrival at the lounge the attendant seemed to have no knowledge of my booking even though I had the booking reference number with me. There was also no record of the bottle of prosecco I had also ordered. The manager agreed to honour my word and went about getting it for us. We had explained that we were in a hurry but the bottle took ages to materialise and then she wanted to rewash our glasses as they were marked. We were happy to have them as they were as time was marching on. I was a little disappointed at the lack of choice of food on offer - what was there we enjoyed and was very tasty. Wanting to make the most of our time at the lounge, to our embarrassment we were the last to get on the plane.
