More space now but less choice

Design is nice and stylish. But tables were not cleaned and only a small variety of food. Compared to other lounges disappointing.

Too crowded, not enough choice of food or drink.

Lovely comfortable lounge, however food/snacks very disappointing. Arrived at lunch time and no soup/rolls available. When staff were asked they said no soup available as microwave was broken down?? Other snacks very limited and not adequate.

I felt that the lounge had been a bit of an "afterthought" and had been crammed into a tight corner. It felt cramped- the seating was close together and people we on top of one another almost. Whilst the food and drink was fine the environment did not offer that sense of peace and calm we have experienced in other lounges, so overall, disappointed.

The lounge itself was nicely decorated and clean similar to the one we have been to at Manchester T3 however there are no toilet within the lounge or even nearby which I find odd..the variety of drinks is limited and all alcoholic drinks need to be asked for which as when we visited the receptionist was tending the bar so you feel bad asking . Staff very friendly , would probably revisit it as its good value however Manchester seems to have the edge with regards to the lounge experience

Standard fare from an airport lounge, could've done with a better selection of food but a reasonable selection on show. Nice touch with the beer taps as draught is so much better than bottles or cans. Some of the staff were a tad surly but others were more than welcoming. Thank you for a pleasant pre flight visit.

Ok but some areas under chairsand tables had not been cleaned properly We were in when first opened st 4:30am so the mess was obviously from night before Staff were friendly & helpful

Disappointing, was my first visit and it felt crowded and hot. Hard to get a seat, good thing I had pre-boked, but frankly, it is too sqashed in there. Food OK quality, but very limited choice. Cannot believe ask £20 to have a shower, I would have thought that was included in the costs - business class lounges (once you are in) do not charge for this. . Given the size of terminal 5, other food/drink outlets etc, I would probably not visit again in future, it isn't good value for money.

Was reasonably relaxing prior to a flight. Things that could be improved would be faster bar service to keep queueing down, more cleaning staff to just keep the place free from rubbish build up, and the worst thing? The toilets are shockingly poor, dirty and wholly inadequate considering the lounge is classed as an executive perk. Nowhere near as good as the Virgin V-Room or BA lounges at other airports I'm afraid.

Choice of food was not great, not sure what I expected but it didn't meet. Won't book again

Compared to other lounges, does not compare in terms of products available. Not much food, drinks in 2l plastic bottles instead of cans to glass for individual consumption. No where near as good as escape at Manchester airport but adequate

The lounge is comfortable however the food choice is limited and the stock is not replenished on a regular basis. Plenty of packets of crisps though. Staff not very welcoming or attentive in both the lounge or the airport.

Bar staff were slow to serve, often stood talking in the kitchen even when they could see people waiting to be served.

I would really like to give a glowing review of the LJL Aspire airport lounge (having been a customer at both Manchester and Liverpool lounges for almost twenty years) but, sadly, standards are falling as prices increase. Liverpool offers a clean, comfortable and tranquil space from which to begin your journey; or at least that is the general idea. The age limit is frequently ignored - if we wanted to be surrounded by children we could sit in the main concourse as we would if we wanted to be subjected to the noise of "hen" parties. The range of snack food is limited and if the portions of cake get any smaller they may as well be discontinued. The supply of alcoholic drinks remains adequate - if you can get served. The Staff are welcoming and friendly but cannot be everywhere at once. Prolonged telephone calls and reception duties leave customers waiting to be served at the bar; I witnessed several people giving up in frustration. Hardly high quality customer care. The Lounge operates not because of the Management, but in spite of it. We have been wavering over our bookings for a couple of years now and, irrespective of price, have just about reached the and of our tolerance. Maybe one more visit; we can always take our custom elsewhere.

Our visit was ok. A little cramped and only one choice - soup - for lunch. Initial receptionist quite brusque and uninviting - hardly looked up at us - but bar staff were friendly and efficient.

we were held up trying to enter the lounge by people trying to get in without booking. the lounge was quite full and seating was a problem the food was good and drinks were fine. I have been to better lounges and considering the life of term 5's lounge it came a poor third

Although a good experience it was very, very busy with people being turned away at the door if they had not booked. The lounge much have been aware of how busy they were going to be through the booking yet were woefully understaffed. Kudos to the staff that were working, smiling and making the best of it, however they needed much more help. You don't expect to have to queue for 8 minutes in the executive lounge. Regards Kay

This. Was not what we had expected after using the no.1 lounge in Edinburgh last year . There was an option of a couple of finger rolls , soup or some cheese and buisuts , the beer selection was also very limited and warm . In Edinburgh for the same cost. You got a varied variety of salads , pasta! Hot soup or a fish finger roll with a much wider choice of beers etc.
