We use Aspire Lounge in Edinburgh twice a year as a family, it has always been excellent, and we look forward to this being the start of our holiday. We were very disappointed this time, although food was good, and plentiful, we had to wait on cutlery, then knives came out and no forks! Had to wait at least 10mins for a drink ,despite ringing the bell, then there were no glasses!! Tables were not cleared, table beside us was not cleared the whole time we were in! Disappointed.

Visited Aspire Lounge Bristol 1.20 pm on Saturday 12th January 2019. Pulled beef risotto looked awful, very dry and unappetising. Soup container virtually empty and dried up again! Complained to manager, no apology. Pasta and soup arrived 20 minutes later. There used to be plenty of newspapers, not now. Mainly magazines. Signage at Bristol for Aspire sends you round a complete loop ending up near where you started above duty free. Disappointing.

After using the escape lounge over the last couple of times that we have been to Manchester Airport terminal 1 we decided that we would try the Aspire lounge again, and to be honest my self and. My wife felt very let down. Upon arrival we found somewhere to sit and got a drink, as we had been travelling a couple of hours to the airport we were peckish and fancied a sandwich. To our shock there were no sandwiches but a small salad bar with ham cheese salad ect, but there was no bread or barns available all there was , was stain small brown soup rolls. There was no selection of crisps or nuts that we had become acostomed too using your competitor i.e. Escape lounge. We were asked by a member of your staff if everything was OK to which we explained our disappointment, and she made us a ham sandwich, to which we was very grateful. Your staff were very at-tentative. I feel that our experience was not the best and felt vey disappointed.

Tables left with dirty crockery we had to clear one in order to sit down. Staff seemed a bit lost and not very helpful, lack of training? Overall impression was grubby, uninteresting place. Good advertised not available. Toilets clean. First time we've used this lounge area and unlikely to go back. So depressing.

Not worth the money at all. Bery hard to find a seat and being gluten free (celiac) and vegetarian very little to eat. Will not use again

First time I have used the executive lounge to be honest ; less than impressed. Surprisingly poor choice of food - mushroom pasta or nothing, uncomfortable seats and slow service - will not be back.

Have used the lounge a few times before and enjoyed it but the last time I found it was not as good. The food was not very nice and very slow at getting it replenished. Would have to think seriously about using it again.

Very disappointing and not worth the money. When we arrived there was no where to sit and we had to share a table. Breakfast was mediocre at best and the alcohol was limited to the basic spirits, beer and wine. For the price I do not believe it was worth it.

Was nice to have somewhere quiet to sit but lounge was about to shut which I wasn’t made aware of when I paid to book. There was virtually nothing there and although the staff was very friendly it was nowhere near value for money so I wouldn’t use again.

Although I had complimentary admission because of a previous complaint , I’m sorry to say I wasn’t impressed .We were the 1st in the Lounge 4/00 am Friday 4th . The food was barely warm ,they had forgotten to switch the coffee machine on . I asked if they had bread for toast and was advised they had neither.Having previously visited the Virgin V room I’m afraid there was no comparison.I won’t be waisting my time or money to be disappointed again. Disappointed with this visit. Arrived at 7am to find.. 1. Quiet area cordoned off (it did open later ) 2. Poor choice of food for breakfast time. No fresh pastries or breakfast brrads ( pain au chocolat, danish) 3. Three hot lamp areas with bacon. Sausage etc. Not everyone wants fried food at 5hat time. 4. By 7.30, Lounge filling up so quiet area opened. Doubt whether I will use this lounge again, although I have 4 loyalty stamps. Not worth £20 admission

We did advise ‘gluten free diet’ for myself and partner. Eventually a couple of pieces of bread arrived - the choice was only bacon or scrambled egg, we were not advised previously that no food such as omelette or fish could be cooked any longer. There was no fruit offered except a banana which looked battered, no gluten free sausage, tomatoes mushrooms or cakes were available for us. We then asked for a proseco only to be asked to pay !! Very very disappointing. Seating was very cramped, taking into account it was Christmas weekend, we moved seats into a more comfortable seating area- only to be asked to move as a large group were due to arrive. Outrageous we all pay to be seated where we wish. For ourselves a complete waste of money. We have used airport lounges previously and have been very satisfied.

hot food was extremely poor quality and a lack of variety and it would appear that it is mainly for drinkers . If all you want is a drink then its ok but if you want good food don't bother to go in here

Very disappointed when we visited on 5th January. Struggled to find seats, hardly any food, drinks service was atrocious with arrogant bar staff.

Although the decor, ambience, food, drinks service and the service staff were good, the issue that dragged my rating down to "poor" was the toilets. Frankly, they were filthy and totally unacceptable !!!
