Staff were friendly on arrival. Its not one of the best lounges i have been to but i think this was mainly down to the clientele (Package holiday makers going to Benidorm) who made a right mess and cleared out the food every time it was stocked. I'm not a big fan of the bar service as it should be self-service in a lounge. However given the clientele i think its the best option for the operator and other customers. I got my moneys worth but wasn't particularly blown away by the experience. It sits somewhere between poor and acceptable but i've gone for the higher score as the operator cannot pick and choose its customers

The food and drinks available were amazing and the service was great. The only let down was the lack of seats. We were on the verge of asking for a refund when two ladies said they were leaving. The person on the reception was still selling tickets to go in even though it was so busy and there were areas blocked off and out of use.

We booked the lounge to relax before a long flight. There wasn't much space left and the available seats were not very comfortable. Food choices not very good either. We will think twice about using the lounge again.

It was great to get a seat and relax before our flight. We had a coffee then a few drinks from the bar .A decent choice of breakfast. For us it's the only way to start our holidays in the lounge relaxing and chatting in a relaxing atmosphere.

Used this lounge on 9/10/19 Was dissatisfied with the behaviour of some groups who were loud, uncouth, shouting, banging on service counter to attract the attention of staff. Not want I expected from Aspire plus

No vegan options at the lounge and very minimal vegetarian options.

Visited both the Aspire lounge and the American Airlines lounge on the same day. AA's lounge was definitely superior, as the food was better, the drinks access was better and it was more spacious.

Aspire lounge was ok, but in my opinion food and drinks are not as good as the other lounges at Manchester airport. However the 3 hour booking before our flight time is a great idea.

First time to use this lounge at T5. All was basically ok. Annoying that the only toilets were outside of the lounge. The food was OK,(sausages wonderful) but I thought counter rather high, and could have been laid out better.

Overcrowded, limited food choices and a lot of the selection had run out. Had to keep going back to see if had been refilled but everybody was doing the same so ran out again. Overall not the best lounge experience I have had. Bottom line is that i feel they are trying to get as any people in as possible not what they are capable of handling professionally.

The lounge was overly busy with a couple of big groups taking up a lot of the seats. All the window seats are set up for 2 people only (we were a group of 3) so we had to wait until someone left to get a seat. The food had not been topped up before we got there around 1pm, especially the sweet things. There was only one piece of lemon cake left and it looked like someone had picked that up and then put it back, the sweets were also located on the bar so everyone was leaning over them to get drinks. They do not stock cider so 2 of our party had to find alternative drinks (Tia Maria is also not stocked). I do not find the quality and range of food and drinks to be particularly good nd the whole set up of the area needs reviewing to make it more user friendly.

Lounge was a really noisy and the WI-FI was really poor. When the staff was cleaning tables they made a LOT of noise with dishes. That lounge wasn't really a good place for working.

Very nice and relaxing before our flight, only problem was food took far too long to replenish even though the lounge wasn’t busy, it was tasty when it came out! Would book again.

First time in a lounge so wasn't sure what to expect. It was first thing in the morning and found the temperature very cold for sitting in, my husband had to keep his jacket on. More gluten free breakfast options would be good and the option of toast.

Good lounge. Positives were the price and the comfort of the space and the ability to pick and choose your food. Personally I like to pour my own wine and have smaller servings and a wider selection. I also don't think there were any 'piccies' to have accompany the drink which I missed. PS I know that my honest review won't win any prizes but I hope it helps. I would have paid another fiver to have the changes mentioned. Thanks for helping my journey start in a more relaxed way. Paul

We usually enjoy our visits as we are able to sit in peace and have a snack and a coffee. Very disappointed this time, snacks very limited and barely warm. Have always had aspire lounges, this time disappointing
