I regularly visit either Aspire or No.1 at Edinburgh airport. I recent months, Aspire has deteriorated in all aspects - choice, selection, number of staff, cleanliness. Aspire must do better as it will be No.1 for me from now on!!

I'm afraid I was not impressed with the lounge at LGW North. Breakfast stopped before 11.00am and lunch did not appear for quite some time. As a tour operator and having used many lounges I found this one not to be up to par. Most of the staff, with the exception of one, had a bit of an attitude.

Manchester T2 Aspire Lounge was overcrowded and breakfast food offered was poor in variety and quality.

On arriving at the lounge two hours before my flight my name was not on list of bookings for that day. I unfortunately had no proof of the booking with me. I had to log into my internet banking to show proof of booking. By the time I was let into the lounge I had time for a half cup of coffee before I had to catch my flight.

The food and drinks were decent and replenished quickly, however there was not remotely enough seating for the number of people wanting to use the lounge, and this was on a random Saturday in November, which meant it took 20 minutes for me and my partner to Donald anywhere to sit. I can’t say it was worth the price.

As part of celebrating my Wifes 60th Birthday, we thought we would treat ourselves and use the Executive Lounge. We could not have been more disappointed at our treatment. Upon our arrival there was no one on reception and after about 5 minutes I went to try and find someone, because there was a queue forming. The young lady eventually appeared. The selection of food on display was depleted and not replaced and then we had to clear our own table, before we could sit and eat. We were beyond disappointed and could not recommend.

Pre booked the lounge when I arrived lounge extremely busy, no seats anywhere, asked to speak to the manager and she found me a seat at a table for prepaid online customers, which was very lucky as customers had just left. I felt they were just letting everyone in at the door not caring if customers got a seat. Surely you pay for a lounge to get a comfy seat and relax. Would never go back,

Very full and not easy to get a seat. Choice of food constantly ran out. When ordering drinks, I was made aware that the first glass of Prosecco was complimentary. I had however paid for a glass as part of the package. I was questioned by the staff about this and then had to wait at the bar whilst they checked- which wasn’t a good start to my experience.

Unfortunately not as good as previous visits. Hot food was not up to standard. Tables were not cleared of used dishes ( had to clear the table by myself to sit down with my wife ). Had to wait for some time to be served drinks at bar.

The Lounge facility only benefits if you dont have bags. The check in desk opens 3 hours before the flight. The flight gate closes 30 minutes before flight. we were 1st in the queue and walked briskly straight to the lounge not stopping at duty free. Queued to get into the lounge. Only had 1 hours in there but paid for 3. When I booked the offer was buy one get one free but it was only 25% off the bill at the end. A very disappointing and expensive experience. Food ok. Very clean. Friendly staff. Good idea but wont be repeating it.

This was the first time I had used this lounge and I found it disappointing compared to others. It is L shaped and narrow, very crowded and the choice of food on offer was very poor - a sort of vegetable stew, rice and a few cake type desserts, all open to the air. One of the few comfortable chairs became available ten minutes before I left so at least the end of my stay was comfortable.

Limited range of food on offer. Slow check in, told it was my phones problem rather than just trying to check my name in. Lack of luxury, did not feel very executive. Could have been a wider range of food and snacks on offer, not all of it felt fresh. Disappointed I spent the money.

Unenjoyable due to the fact that they had put us in the quiet zone which we didn’t ask for. This then caused an uproar from other people sitting in the zone, baring in mind we had 4 young children with us, it was quite frankly impossible to be silent. The staff seemed very stressed and not too happy to accommodate. This was my first time using the lounge, and i am so disappointed. I’m not too sure I will be using it again any time soon.

Lounge was clean and easy to check into to, the staff were all very friendly. However it was let down by a really poor breakfast offering. Vegetarian sausages were inedible (try using quorn or Linda McCartney in the future to make veggies happy), pancakes had run out, milk had run out, bacon was undercooked, shortage of cutlery. It was a really disappointing experience overall and we then had to purchase food elsewhere.
