The Wi-Fi was not working and the advertised kids tablets were also not working. Submitted a complaint online but no response from the company so obviously don't care. Very poor and will not be visiting again.

Having received recommendations from others, I thought that the lounge would provide a relaxed atmosphere, good food and great way to begin our holiday. Unfortunately, the atmosphere was cold, the food was extremely bad and we began our holiday having wasted £50. The atmosphere cannot be changed I don't believe, but the food needs an overhaul immediately. It was so bad that both myself and my daughter put it into the bin and left the lounge to go and eat elsewhere, we did not return.

Very poor selection of food (pasta in tomato sauce and very unappetising and cold risotto), ham or cheese, bread and lettuce. Also, a plate of biscuits was left out for customers, which was not hygienic, as biscuits were not individually wrapped, so customers were able to touch all biscuits. Birmingham airport in contrast offered an excellent menu, many snack options, a better drink menu and cakes, nuts, etc. Service was also considerably better. Staff on desk was very friendly and helpful, but young girl serving behind bar was quite rude.

Airport under renovation, directions provided inaccurate. After a period of looking and becoming increasingly confused we eventually asked we and were told the lounge was before passport control (which we had come through and obviously could not go back) and nothing like the directions we had been given so the whole thing turned out to be a huge waste of time and money. Particularly disappointing as my travel partner has major food intolerances and nothing in the general departure lounge or on the flight was suitable.

It was diabolical. Not comfortable, hardly any food and it was overcrowded. It was a children's play ground not that I have anything against children but the parents had no control over them.

We weren't allowed in. We had booked in 2 groups, one a party of 5 and one a party of 4 - this was the way our holiday was booked as the party of 5 were travelling from Wales and were holidaying for 3 weeks and the party of 4 were travelling from London/Manchester and holidaying for 2 weeks. We were straight away accused of trying to get around booking conditions and were spoken to very rudely. The lounge was obviously over booked and we were also told that they were expecting an executive party - clearly we were lower than that!

Considering what we paid, the chairs were extremely uncomfortable. Both my husband and I do not book in to the executive lounge to enable us to drink copious amounts of alcohol so going forward we will not be taking this option as it seems that is the clientele you cater for, and the only thing that is worth the money you pay for the lounge. We are surprised the Airlines don't stop a number of passengers due to the amount of alcohol they have consumed before boarding in the lounges as they absolutely reek of alcohol. The food was cold, the buns were horrible & all we wanted was a plain sausage sandwich not some fancy Herby sausage that tasted like perfume, the bacon was cold and undercooked. Why can't you just do plain toast? The water boiler wasn't hot enough so the tea had scum on it. Absolutely disgusting and to think we paid £40 for the privelige of watching some other passengers get drunk at 8.30 in the morning while we ate cold food and drunk scummy lukewarm tea sitting on extremely uncomfortable chairs, NEVER again and we will be posting on Trip Advisor and writing to customer services and telling people at every opportunity NOT to pay for the experience we had. In a word DISGUSTING.

I arrived at the airport well ahead of my departure time so that i could relax in the lounge before take-off. I went through passport control and asked an airport customer service rep for directions to the lounge only to be told the the lounge was BEFORE passport control. That is utterly ridiculous and a total waste of money. I paid for a lounge that i could not use then had to pay further for food and drinks whilst waiting for my flight. I have checked your web-site and no where does it state that the lounge is before passport control, if i had know I would not have paid for the access.

Over cramped room last thing you want before a flight is cramped into a room having to share tables with strangers some people were even stood up was obviously well over booked having Thomsons premium customers and Singapore airlines was awful unless you like paying money to be cramped and squashed

We were very disappointed at the facilities provided at the lounge in Birmingham airport. We found the lounge lacking in decent food, newspapers and magazines. No private toilets available. Lack of interest by staff when approached for plates or cups - and slow at clearing tables. We have previously used the Aspire lounge at Heathrow airport. We were very impressed with it. It was comfortable, clean, good choice of food and drink, newspapers etc.. Very good value we thought so this is the reason we used the lounge at Birmingham - didn't realise the lounges could vary quite so much from airport to airport.

Dark dingy environment. Over crowded. Tables reserved for a specific airline. Poor quality and choice of food. Noisy. We left and sat outside at s bare with a cleaner and far more professional service. Would avoid this “Executive” lounge at all costs.
