Very expensive, dirty tables, hot selection of food was congealed pasta, otherwise sandwiches or soup. white wine was not replenished, for nealy £100 for 2 adults and 2 children, not worth the money - no toilets either.

The food in the food court was much cheaper on average and had a lot more choice than than the lounge. Not worth the money for two.

Food choice: You couldn't buy cheaper food. On the hot plate was a choice of Veg Curry and Rice (cold) or Pasta, also cold. On the Cheese plate was Cheddar or Cheddar and Cream crackers! Cheap Wine and Cheap Lager (Heineken). If you want to know how it should be done, for the same price, look at the 1906 Lounge.

No toilets, overcrowded, had to wait for a seat and that was on a table there were no lounge type chairs available in the two hours we spent there ,there were people sleeping on chairs especially the lounge sofas and they had shoes on ,with their feet on the sofas. The hot water in both hot taps was not hot enough for tea I did complain but was told it was hot , there was white scum on the cup where the water wasn’t hot . There was n packaged food ie crisps or biscuits or nuts there was a jar of biscuits that people put their hands in, the bottle soft drinks were either diet bitter lemon or pineapple juice,I don’t drink diet drinks and have an allergy to pineapple ,simple orange juice or fizzy water ,still water or fizzy drink would of been good .Breakfast was clearing so it took time to put out a limited brunch d, no hot roll was on offer, the Wi-fi was slower than the free term 5 Wi-fi ..

We would like to write a good review, but when we arrived at the lounge the young lady there told us there was no record of us booking and would not allow us to enter, and to be honest, she was not helpful at all in trying to resolve the problem, We have since been refunded which proves we had booked it in the first place

We were there in Saturday 17th March. The place was overcrowded because they allowed those delayed to stay on , despite prebooking we had to wait ages to find a seat, the WiFi didn't work. The food kept running out and the selection for those with a gluten allergy was poor. . I contacted customer service and was basically told there was no problem

We couldn't get into the departure lounge as our flight to Barcelona had been cancelled with less than 24 hours notice. My wife contacted you to obtain a refund but was told as we did not give 24 hours notice and we didn't have an account there would be no refund!

As I have always used the executive lounges I have always looked forward to this as part of our holiday usually a great start to our family holiday. I was horrified and felt sick when I took my daughter to the toilet there was a bucket outside the toilet being a very inquisitive eight year old girl she looked into it and asked me what it was. To my horror I was looking at a bin full of unattended used sanitary towels I have never felt so sick what a lovely start to my holiday I think your right to ask me to edit my review to set the records straight and people understand exactly what I mean this was. AS YOU WALKED OUT OF THE ASPIRE DOORS ALONG THE CORRIDOR NOT GOING INTO THE TOILETS BUT OUTSIDE IN THE MAIN CORRIDOR THE BUCKET WITH THE SANITARY TOWELS ALL USED ON SHOW. As this is your only access and egress route for customers I would think you have some responsibility to make sure this doesn't happen. I think if you check your records between both lounges in the last 18 months my Mother and Father my Partner and I think we have used the lounges about 8 times. We have never had a problem. where I work the cleaners do the same thing but they have the decency to put a lid over them so there is nothing on show. I got the impression from your e-mail that you were more concerned about the review. than an apology. This was absolutely disgusting and I think you was passing the buck by saying the corridor that leads in and out of your lounges is not your responsibility. I actually wonder if this is common practise when they clean the ladies toilets

Tables were dirty and not cleared. I was told by one staff i had to wait 20mins for veggie sausages, after 30mins i asked and was told they didn’t have any. Hot food was always empty, people were waiting around for items to be replenished. For the price I won’t visit again.

Staff were far from helpful and abrupt, and there was 6 of us so we had to go up in groups three to get a drink each, instead of one person just bringing six drinks back. Will definitely not be paying for this lounge again.

Dear Paul, Thank you for contacting us. The lounge was closed on 26th February for refurbishment and we did email everybody prior to this who had booked through our site if their booking was affected. I can see you have now received a refund. I do apologise for any inconvenience and we do hope to see you once the new and improved lounge has opened in May. Kind Regards, Executive Lounges Team

Breakfast finished at 10.27 as there hadn't been a delivery. Lunch started being served at 10.30am! Very poor and limited lunch offerings which looked worse than school meals. No newspaper offerings. Small plates and wine glass. I asked for a glass of red wine and there was literally enough for 2 mouth fulls. This was my first time visiting the lounge which I paid for rather than having it included with my ticket. I will not be returning and I will be advising friends and family to avoid.

Before we’d even stepped through the door we was stopped due to having rollers in our hair. Apparently this is in the T&Cs, I have checked and can’t seem to see this specified in your terms and conditions. The woman was very rude and couldn’t seem to explain any reason for it. Because of this we had a terrible start to our holiday and had to sit in the airport bar which was full of rowdy men who then called us horrible names which then became a very heated discussion. Not to mention the fact we were expecting to not be paying for anything in the airport so did not budget on spending almost £20 for a bottle of wine which then caused further distress on our holiday when we had less money for while on our holiday. Disgraceful. Something so common as hair rollers not being aloud is ridiculous and should atleast be written clearly when booking.

I booked into the lounge on a Friday afternoon as a party of 3 we had 3 gin and slimline tonics. When I went back to the bar I was informed there was no more slimline tonic. The lounge was quite busy which is fair enough but you would think at £20.99 per head they would be fully stocked. Also the food looked like it had sat there for hours as it was very dried out. The crisps on the bar had also ran out. The lounge itself was regularly cleaned however. I am going in the lounge again on Saturday 24th March in the morning so I am hoping there is a better service. Hopefully that was a one off.

We were very disappointed to see the services in the lounge. We stayed there just for under 5 minutes and walked out of it. The reasons are as follows: 1. Standard of hot food was very poor, not what you display on your website. 2. There was no toast - which is one of the essential things one needs for breakfast. 3. There were no eggs. Asked the staff and she said I am going to ask the kitchen and revert back. She came back and said that it is coming. We did not stay to see what wuality of eggs they were. 4. Sausages and Bacon looked dried out with no fresh colour on them. 5. Staff was stressed out and not friendly. 6. Staff was so busy that had no time to clear up the tables etc and fill up the mini buffet you had laid. 7. The whole experience was appalling and not worth the money you charge. 8. That particular day presumably the SPA was not working. 9. There are no toilets within the lounge and one has to go outside into the terminal. The list goes on and on and we will never recommend or visit any of the Aspire Lounges all over the world. The manager at the Reception wanted to know why we are leaving but we were so distressed that we did not wait to tell him on the spot what was happening and show him the buffet. The quality and cleaniless was unacceptable.

We were in the lounge with friends and we’d had a few drinks plus food when an elderly staff member told one of the ladies in our party that we would not be served any more alcohol, this was done in front of other customers. Not one of us were even slightly worse for wear but we were having a good laugh and catch up. I will never use the lounge again, I think the staffs behaviour was wrong and very unprofessional
