I placed an order on 10th December for delivery on the 24th December and it hasn't even started shipping - it was an expensive purchase and I expected a 5 to 7 day delay as advised...it has now been 12 days delayed and counting. Thoroughly disappointed and will probably not use this service again!

Dreadful. Christmas presents ordered on 12 December. The bit BoroughBox were responsible for...who knows where it is. Only told on 22 December it might not arrive for Christmas (thanks lads - bit late to do anything about that now). I got an e-mail from Parcelforce saying they'd received it on 24 December. Still not received by the recipient. No response to my e-mail requesting a refund. Shoddy company.

We tried to place a very large order through Boroughbox back in October for a December christmas packages for our staff, however the lack of communication made us go elsewhere unfortunately. I should have learned there. I did purchase a few items for staff during the month December and sadly this also went wrong. I needed support as a business and was not able to get hold of anyone on the phone and advised to email in. I contacted on 8/12 no answer, another email at 14/12 no answer, another email 17/12 no answer despite the email from the CEO on the 16th stating they where busy but getting back to business customers asap so clearly aware of the issue! On the 17th I finally received a dispatch notice from Yodel. Then on 22/12 I finally received an email from from Corporate services. The item had never been dispatched, despite the note from Yodel. I am very disappointed with the lack of service experienced. I am aware we are in a pandemic, busy times during Christmas however it does not take that long to send a simple email back which seems to be a recurring issue with your corporate department. If you do not have phone lines ensure you have an adequate back up as you are taking hundreds of orders you need to be ready for queries!

The item I ordered as a Christmas gift on 12th December has still not been delivered, despite being told that although delivery would be delayed by the inevitable Christmas rush, it would be delivered by 29th December. I have had no further communication from Boroughbox and only found out that the item hadn't arrived when I spoke to the intended recipient of the gift.

The hampers I had ordered for Christmas presents took over three weeks to arrive, finally getting to me just before new year! having sent multiple emails and messages to the company and even offering an alternative solution for myself (I would have happily paid for a private courier) they did not and still haven't responded to a single message. The presents are now a total waste of time. I'm aware that Covid has affected a lot of deliveries, but to be three weeks behind and not contact customers isn't good enough. I would have cancelled and bought something else if I could have.

Very very poor. Ordered on 9th December and still nothing delivered. Borough not picking up the phone or replying to emails to find out what is happening. Terrible service. Had the cheek to ask how the service was via generic email. The service is rubbish, it’s a few days off a month since I ordered these Christmas presents. Still waiting for some sort of response......no stars isn’t an option for the review

My understanding is that the product was satisfactory however it was not delivered until Dec 31st. This was totally unacceptable especially as no communication was received in the interim to let me know of the magnitude of the delay. Very disappointed with the service.

Hampers haven't arrived yet. Due for delivery 24th Dec. No reply to email, no info on despatch site with Parcelforce. No update.

Purchased 2 beer and curry night boxes on 8th December as Christmas presents. They didn’t arrive until 31st December with very little information given about their estimated delivery date. Upon giving the gifts to relatives we realised that they had placed all the beer items in one box, and all curry pouches in the other resulting in an embarrassing exchange of contents after the event. When ordering gift sets I would assume they would be packaged as so. Very disappointed in delivery, packaging and communication

Despite ordering on 10th Dec and the website stating Christmas delivery was available, gifts have still not been received. Incredibly disappointing and I won’t be using the service again.

I ordered a hamper for my brother’s Xmas present on 12 Dec and it arrived on 31 Dec so no use at all as I won’t see him for months now. Customer service was shocking. For £65 the contents of the hamper were a complete rip off. Always happy to support independent sector but not for such a poor experience

I regret ordering Christmas hamper from this place. The order was placed on 11th dec and there are still no updates or sign of any delivery. They will respond to your email and calls with automated messages. I am still trying to chase them about my order in the new year, as it still hasn’t been delivered. I ordered a gift for my family and it is embarrassing as it never reached them even before the new year. Pathetic customer service, please do not waste your time and money and order from elsewhere.

Ordered on 9th December. Am still yet to receive my order despite recivieing emails to say it has been dispatched twice. I know that Christmas is an extremely busy time but very disappointed my order still hasnt arrived

Order placed 8th December, received 2nd Jan. Emailed, just automated response. Called, no answer. Tweeted, no response. I had gift voucher I applied to the purchase. Had I paid the full £45 for what I have received, I'd be feeling very hard done by. All in all, absolute rubbish.

Took almost 3 weeks to arrive. Missed the opportunity to give it to the intended recipients due to the delivery being so late. Was told it was being shipped and still had to wait another week for it arrive. Products don't appear to offer value for money for the price paid. No contact as yet from BoroughBox despite emailing them. Would not recommend.

Considering my order was placed on the 9 Dec and still hasn't been delivered I have been wondering if Borough box even exists. An update would be greatly appreciated. If this is not going to be delivered soon could you please arrange a refund.
