I made an order over two weeks ago which was for delivery on the 23rd December as a Christmas gift. It was never delivered. I have sent a number of emails, phoned and left a voicemail. I have received no response as of yet. Lastly I requested a refund via email but also got no response. I would appreciate it if a refund can be processed and if confirmation of this can be sent via email to me

Terrible!!! This company are more than happy to take your money, then fail to actually send out the orders. If you don't have the capacity or the stock, don't take the order - it's really that simple. Taking orders for what you know you can't deliver is verging on criminal. BOROUGH BOX WILL LET YOU DOWN, BUY FROM SOMEONE ELSE!!!!!!

Ordered these as a corporate gift - scheduled delivery for the 14th, order was placed on the 7th. They arrived on the 21st, when our company event was on the 18th. I emailed the company asking for an update, still yet to hear a response. Poor service, simply got too greedy prior to Christmas.

Terrible. Ordered on 14th December as an xmas gift, on 4th Jan it still hasn't arrived. Have emailed 5 times and received no response. Worst ever service!

Hamper ordered on 14th December which has still to be delivered. Tracking system unable to give any information on likely delivery date and email response I had from your support line said we don't know when your order will be delivered and by the way 'don't send another email or reply as this will delay our response'. Accept times are difficult but if BoroughBox can not provide approximate delivery times, STOP TAKING ORDERS. Hope the delivery arrives before Easter!

I read the message on the website telling us delivery was delayed due to COVID -19 and they were not delivering the usual next day. I placed an order on the 8th December and it allowed me to choose a delivery date of the 14th December. This was perfect as the event my delivery was for was on the 21st December. Nothing arrived on the 14th December and I then got stuck in an endless loop of Borough Box telling me they had been dispatched to the courier and the courier telling me they had not received the parcels. This went on for days and was very frustrating. The only thing that Borough Box did well was refund me when I eventually got fed of this round and round!

I placed an order on December 13 and still haven’t received the gift! The gift was for Christmas! No personal service just email after email saying how busy they are!! Rubbish service, rubbish all round! Will not be using again!!

Placed a Christmas gift order on 13 December. 4th Jan and still not delivered. Email responses extremely slow, vague and inaccurate. Phonecalls ignored. Would avoid this organisation at all costs. About to contact Trading Standards.

My order has never arrived, despite the team telling me it would arrive on time. Simply no communication from BoroughBox despite contacting them several times. Very disappointed and will never order again. By the way, they still have my money and I can't figure out how to get it back

5 items ordered on 13th December, items from other two sellers from the site arrived in good time but 3 weeks later I'm still waiting for the item sold by BoroughBox. I have had one generic communication apologising generally for delays due to Covid but if other sellers can manage in these difficult times why not BoroughBox too? This item is now obviously way too late to be the stocking filler it was intended to be.

I placed an order on 10th December for delivery on the 24th December and it hasn't even started shipping - it was an expensive purchase and I expected a 5 to 7 day delay as advised...it has now been 12 days delayed and counting. Thoroughly disappointed and will probably not use this service again!

Dreadful. Christmas presents ordered on 12 December. The bit BoroughBox were responsible for...who knows where it is. Only told on 22 December it might not arrive for Christmas (thanks lads - bit late to do anything about that now). I got an e-mail from Parcelforce saying they'd received it on 24 December. Still not received by the recipient. No response to my e-mail requesting a refund. Shoddy company.

We tried to place a very large order through Boroughbox back in October for a December christmas packages for our staff, however the lack of communication made us go elsewhere unfortunately. I should have learned there. I did purchase a few items for staff during the month December and sadly this also went wrong. I needed support as a business and was not able to get hold of anyone on the phone and advised to email in. I contacted on 8/12 no answer, another email at 14/12 no answer, another email 17/12 no answer despite the email from the CEO on the 16th stating they where busy but getting back to business customers asap so clearly aware of the issue! On the 17th I finally received a dispatch notice from Yodel. Then on 22/12 I finally received an email from from Corporate services. The item had never been dispatched, despite the note from Yodel. I am very disappointed with the lack of service experienced. I am aware we are in a pandemic, busy times during Christmas however it does not take that long to send a simple email back which seems to be a recurring issue with your corporate department. If you do not have phone lines ensure you have an adequate back up as you are taking hundreds of orders you need to be ready for queries!

The item I ordered as a Christmas gift on 12th December has still not been delivered, despite being told that although delivery would be delayed by the inevitable Christmas rush, it would be delivered by 29th December. I have had no further communication from Boroughbox and only found out that the item hadn't arrived when I spoke to the intended recipient of the gift.

The hampers I had ordered for Christmas presents took over three weeks to arrive, finally getting to me just before new year! having sent multiple emails and messages to the company and even offering an alternative solution for myself (I would have happily paid for a private courier) they did not and still haven't responded to a single message. The presents are now a total waste of time. I'm aware that Covid has affected a lot of deliveries, but to be three weeks behind and not contact customers isn't good enough. I would have cancelled and bought something else if I could have.

Very very poor. Ordered on 9th December and still nothing delivered. Borough not picking up the phone or replying to emails to find out what is happening. Terrible service. Had the cheek to ask how the service was via generic email. The service is rubbish, it’s a few days off a month since I ordered these Christmas presents. Still waiting for some sort of response......no stars isn’t an option for the review
