I have still not received my delivery! It said 3-5 days online and I bought it for a zoom work Xmas call on 11th and it still hasn’t arrived!

Sadly so disappointing. Expensive and everday brought a packet of peanuts or a tiny sachet of olives. Very very poor - save your money

Absolute ballache. First parcel, the glass was broken, but give you the chance to sort even though this is a gift and time is very short to replace. Replacement arrived today - what a piece of rubbish. Dirty, thick, pub-style glass. The first glass was as per described, a lovely long stem thin glass gin glass - shame it was broken, but the replacement is an embarrassment and looks like you ran out and replaced with something you had in the cupboard and not new! Very disappointing. I have had to buy a whole new gift and I won't get that in time for Christmas either!

Presentation box (not the delivery carton) arrived badly damaged. This was an expensive £200 gift experience, ruined by poor delivery, packaging or handlers.

The experience I had was appalling. The order despite being placed 2 1/2 weeks ago never came. One small part did, but that is because that bit didn't come from BoroughBox! Those people were efficienct and communicable. The contact with BoroughBox was also appalling. It took at least one email a day if not 3-4 to finally get two in return, the first completely flippant with the regard to the issue and the second confirming my cancellation of order as frankly, 2 days before Christmas, I wasn't going to get it. Yodel hadn't even received it yet. I cannot say how the product tasted or looked, as I never got it. It was for a gift. Now that person has no present. Marvellous! Not.

An awful customer service experience. Ordered a Christmas hamper on 6th December as it was labeled as 'for dispatch on 16th December', which suited my needs. 16th came and went. Only on 18th Dec I received an email saying it was ready for dispatch, with a Yodel tracking link. Days then passed with no update to Yodel tracking - it was clear the hamper was still with BoroughBox. Emails to BoroughBox went unanswered until 22nd, confirming the hamper would be with me on the 23rd - at least 6 days late. By this time, BoroughBox had updated their website to explain they had disconnected their telephones and were ignoring their social media account! Absolute head in the sand approach, given that twitter was filling with complaints from customers who could not contact the company about their missing purchases. When my hamper arrived it had a packing note confirming it had been prepped on 16th December - why the delay in getting it to Yodel then! To add insult to injury, the hamper contained a jar of chutney which had been unsealed - lid was loose - and was seeping. Overall the hamper came in a nice but otherwise useless box but the contents really didn't represent value for money. Never again.

I ordered my 2 Christmas hampers on the 25th November for delivery on the 21st December to give as gifts. Despite chasing via their email system, couldn't phone as they had switched their phones off, they did not respond and they have not delivered the hampers! I could no longer present the hampers as the gifts I had intended and the customer service is shocking.

Awful customer service! Ordered a hamper on December 6th. It was dispatched on 9th December then disappeared!! Yodel website/tracking states they haven't received it and BoroughBox have not replied to my emails. Too late for Xmas now. Will never shop with BoroughBox again!

Sadly I have been unable to contact Borough Box despite both emails and telephone calls to find the whereabouts of a hamper ordered as a Christmas present. So I have spent over £60 and had not response whatsoever.

Item was ordered for a 50th birthday present for my brother. Despite saying you’d despatched the item in time, it arrived three days late. Poor performance, poor customer service. First and last time I’ll use them

Very distressed by delivery. I am 80 with health issues. All shopping online and medication delivered by Boots. All presents etc bought online and successfully delivered — often left in porch and usually with advance notice of delivery, My purchase from you : no advance notice of delivery. I was out for a short walk — purchase not left in porch and no attempt to leave with friendly neighbours. It was taken to local Bargain Booze so had to break my isolation to go and fetch it. I might as well have gone to a shop to buy it. Disgraceful! I have phoned Hoxton and Gray twice to complain and not returned my call. I would never have purchased Click and Collect because that would not keep me safe. I hope for a response.

Unbelievable! I have been trying for around a fortnight to find out what has happened to my order, no response to emails (other than standard acknowledgement and an excuse that they were busy), phone lines unresponsive, yet they have taken my money and still can't tell me when the order will be delivered. It was supposed to be a Christmas gift to relatives in London but am giving hope of that now. Hope they are quick with their refunds. Wouldn't recommend this company to anybody. One star is being generous.

Order placed on 7th Dec. Received notification it was shipped on 11th. On 16th was emailed to say they had problems with shipping & supplies due to Covid. By the 21st I still had not received my order So emailed them & heard nothing back, tried again on 22nd, nothing, today the 23rd I get an email asking me to write a review of my experience.... Really? Finally it arrives.....December 31st! Very disappointed with presentation of the gin bottle, you can barely read the label & that was the whole reason for this gift, my friend is called Ben!

Christmas gift ordered in plenty of time to arrive on the 15th December, today is the 23rd, has still not arrived. Social media is full of similar stories. Terrible customer service. Lots of hiding behind COVID-19. I will be informing by credit card company to issue a charge back if my item does not arrive by tomorrow.

Very disappointing. The first and last time I will use Borough Box. Delivery of birthday gift one week late! Other companies have managed to deliver parcels on time during Coronavirus pandemic! Christine Kearsley

Normally good, but this this year let me down badly. Ordered two hampers to the same UK address in good time for Christmas. One was delivered, the other one not. Still awaiting a response from Boroughbox but looks like one of my family will go without a present this year.
