My parcel is very late (I placed my order 11 days ago) and I have received no update as to when it will arrive. You appear to still be taking orders from your website even though you ant deal with the ones youve got. Ive sent a query and not had any response . HIRE MORE STAFF !!

Ordered 5 separate items, all supplied by BoroughBox themselves....12 days later - nothing has arrived. When looking at contacting support, I found that their Phone Lines and Social media (for support) have been stopped so they cant offer support - this should have been my first warning that they are receiving so many support complaints they cant keep up. Once you email them, you wait a few days for a reply to email and then the support team are extremely quick to blame the postal couriers, but if you read their Twitter or review sites (TrustPilot and here) they blame Royal Mail, Yodel and Hermes....so that doesnt seem right. I gave them plenty of opportunities to do something to fix the issue, even waiting extra time as they said it should update "in a day or so" - was offered a refund of the postage for the late delivery, but it was never actually given (or maybe its just late due to the couriers?). They are unable to blame the 3rd party sellers, all items are from themselves but they dont seem to be able to get things out the door. Now to do battle and try and get my money back - I fear this could be just as bad. Please please please, do your homework before you order from these guys. Just read some of the review first - that was my mistake and one I wont be making in the future!

I ordered two items from Borough Box, one arrived no problem but I am till waiting on the other over two weeks later. I received a shipping notification but it never updated further and the item still hasn't arrived. I have contacted the BoroughBox team to try and resolve this but have heard nothing back. It was supposed to be a birthday gift for my brother but sadly I have now missed his birthday completely.

The courier, Yodel, are terrible. I have not yet received the BoroughBox parcel and am still in dispute with them. Wouldn’t use BoroughBox again for that reason alone. It has been a lot of hassle to chase up and I still haven’t received the parcel. Not a satisfied customer at all.

Still not received my item which was ordered on 28th November.... no updates after being told it would be despatched on 8th December. Shocking service which I won't use again unfortunately

Presentation was lovely in the hamper But, I ordered this for my sister for Christmas, I was was told by email Icould delay thedelivery to nearer the time If I emailed the supplier, this I did for four consective days without any reply. On the 5th day the hamperr turns up still without any customer contact. two of the items will be out of date by Chrismas day !!! Absolutley shocking customer service.

Dear Borough Box Team, I was very excited to have found your website as I was keen to find gifts that support the independent sector this year. I found your website very detailed and precise when it came to understanding the different delivery dates. However I am still waiting for my boxes to arrive and keeping me posted on the delayed delivery has been very poor. Nobody ever answers the phone and I need to keep chasing to get a response. On Monday I received an update that items had been dispatched but when I contacted Yodel today they still haven't received the items. I particularly chose an item that is distributed by you to ensure I would received my items on time.... To date no update and I tried email, phone and instagram message.

I placed an order two weeks ago, paying a 3-5 day delivery and I still have not received the full order. I contacted BoroughBox Order Queries and I still have not heard from them. This company is very unethical. Their customer service is nonexistent!

Very disappointed. Ordered a gift for a special birthday for a family member, selected a date a week from the order date and chose the day before the special birthday just to make extra sure that she received it on time. The hamper eventually arrived 3 days after the date I have pre-selected and when I complained I was merely offered the postage as refund.

Very poor. I placed my order on Friday 27 November, to have the box for an event on Monday evening 7 December (tonight) . Still waiting 10 days later. I had messages on 27 November (to confirm the order) on 3 December (to tell me belatedly that some things were missing because although advertised and paid for they were now out of stock); and on 4 December (that the items had been shipped). But where are they?

What was your experience like with the seller on our marketplace? I ordered a selection of pies on 24th November 2020. The website indicated despatch within 3-5 working days. I chased this up on 3rd December 2020, and was told that these would now be delivered on 9th December 2020. (15 days!) The Borough Box customer service team were okay, and contacted their supplier, who in turn simply told me when they were going to deliver. I have no idea about the quality of the product, because they still haven't arrived.

firstly, i put a lot of items in my basket and the delivery charge was over £30 because they post from each independent stall instead of employing someone to go round picking your order which I think is a huge flaw in this system, I live in Manchester so I cannot go to the market myself, there is no way anyone is ever going to pay £30 plus for delivery, you need to employ a picker and this will reduce this problem. 2nd i then ordered two cocktail sets (these also were coming from two separate stalls) which said 3-5 working days for delivery but may take longer due to covid, I could accept this as I know the postal services are struggling at the moment, however, I ordered 8 other things from other businesses after I had ordered from borough box and they all arrived, so, on the 4th working day i emailed to ask where my items are, they hadn't even left the warehouse yet. this is a joke. it is December, you should of planned that you were going to be busy and employed some temp staff or just rota'd in more of your current staff. it is never ok to leave peoples items sat there after four days of them having paid for it when you state 3-5 working days to receive. its just simply not good enough and very very pro service. i have cancelled my order and am now awaiting my money back. disastrous and would not recommend. (i normally go above and beyond to recommend small businesses but on this occasion this was a disgrace).

The service was good but I’m afraid to say the product really isn’t worth the money. Extortionate price for very small and hit n miss ‘surprises’ 😪

I was surprised to find that the individual spice tin had no lids. So the spices can spill out into the bigger box. It says on the website description that each tin has a see through lid. I think that is misleading. The big tin containing the smaller spice tins has a see through lid. I was told I fouled Keane them in the packets! So why bother with the smaller tins. Sent back costing me £4 + in return postage
