“Never delivered either of my £100 orders as xmas gift to valued customers. Tracking number supplied still shows as orders both uncollected. Ignored repeated emails. Have thus had to open PayPal dispute to get money back.”

“Great product, only slight let down was the fact that I emailed twice with no response at all except for the automated email. It was mainly down to coronavirus restrictions I’m guessing but aside from that fab products and very nicely packaged.”

“AWEFUL SERVICE Ordered on 12th December, still not arrived- it was a gift for Xmas. Have e mailed to complain- no response to that either! Had an e mail TWO days before Xmas saying they couldn't deliver on time- leaving me NO CHANCE to make other arrangements ! I ordered 5 different wine gifts for friends on the same day- the other four arrived in good time for Christmas- but not Borough Box. Dreadful service, no chance of me using them again”

“Ordered on the 9th and have still not received my order. Emailed several times and have been promptly ignored. And now I get a email asking how my order was?? I get that it's a tough time but to not even get an update is unacceptable.”

“2 orders were placed on December 10th ( in plenty of time before the stated Christmas cut off) as Christmas presents. As of December 31st they haven’t even reached the distribution company never mind been delivered. Sending emails is pointless as you don’t get any response, you just get bombarded with automated emails asking what you think and how valued your feedback is. It isn’t at all”

“Terrible service. Gifts did not arrive for Christmas despite being ordered on the 12th of December. Never responded despite 3 requests to cancel. Had to do a chargeback from my credit card. Avoid at all costs!”

“Delivery was really slow so the drinks didn’t turn up in time for our work Xmas party. The website is great and has such a good offering that it was a shame to have such delay in the shipping.”

“Prompt arrival. No hassle. A little underwhelmed by SOME of the tasters. Some were examples of trying to be too clever ( cheddar cheese with a very strong truffle taste cheese snack). Opening the 1st December to gherkins wasn't the start I was expecting. It was a nice idea but I probably won't do this box again.”

“Fantastic box full of excellent beers and yummy looking 'scratchings'. It was a present for my brother-in-law which was unfortunate as I had to wrench it out of husband's hands. Well packaged and prompt delivery.”

“One hamper I ordered has not arrived. And one I paid extra to have delivered on the Sunday before Christmas but it arrived Christmas Eve also I had a phone call to ask address which I had give accurately on the order”

“My orders from Boroughbox were for gifts,they looked vey nice indeed.I understand from the person that received them was very pleased, has they hadnt come across some of the items so enjoyed them. I shall order again when I need to. Do you stock any VEGAN toiltries at all? I could be interested in having alook of what you stock thankyou Mrs B. Timms”

“Won't be ordering anything from BoroughBox ever again. Placed an order on the 7th of December for a Christmas hamper, received an e-mail on the 15th saying the parcel had been shipped. Today is the 29th and according to the delivery company, it hasn't even reached them yet. I've sent two e-mails so far demanding explanation and haven't received a reply. Such a terrible experience.”

“I wish I could give it a 0. I've used borough box once before, with no issues, so had no reason to believe the second time wouldn't be the same. I placed an order on 5th December, so plenty of time for Christmas delivery in line with the advice that orders were taking 7 days to deliver rather than the usual 3-5. Still giving me two weeks buffer. Low and behold, no item arrived and I spent 2.5 weeks trying to get hold of someone - with no-one answering my calls or emails. I had an email response 3 weeks later saying they were 'busy'. Complete joke, tried to support a small business to be handled so awfully. Will never use them again and have also shared this with family and friends to ensure they don't have the same experience.”
