“I was very pleased to be able to chose some unusual snacks as a Christmas present for my son. The option of adding beers was great also. It was all delivered very quickly, especially as it was just before Christmas. Also I received good updates on when the delivery would be so we were able to be in for the delivery. My son loves it and it has spread Christmas out for him as he works from home.”

“Order not delivered. Tracking says the courier hasn't received it yet. Multiple emails sent with no response. Very disappointed, and parents have had no Christmas presents as me and my sister decided to do a joint hamper from us all!”

“Product itself was fine it was just sent to me instead of the delivery address. The label was a mash up of the two. But, not surprising - every company and delivery firm has been overwhelmed so mistakes were bound to happen.”

“I received one of these a a gift and thought it was lovely therefore I placed an order on the 6th of December for 2x hampers to give as Christmas gifts. Having not received them by the 23rd, and given that they state they had been shipped a few days after purchase but no further delivery updates are available, I emailed boroughbox to see if there had been an issue (I know things are tough at the moment giving the circumstances) but I have still not heard anything and had to explain to two family members their gift had not yet arrived. Spent a fair amount of money and now I'm worried my gifts aren't arriving at all.”

“My first purchase with Boroughbox was their snacking advent calendar which I had my eye on last year but sold out. I wasn't disappointed! It came on the date I was expecting, was packaged securely and was filled with a range of delicious sweet and savoury treats. I got to try things I perhaps wouldn't otherwise and the quality of all items was high as expected. Many thanks, I would certainly recommend you to others. I'll be surely trying out some other delicacies in the near future. :)”

“Ordered 6 hampers at the beginning of December for delivery on 17 December, didn't arrive until 23rd. Hampers were part of a meeting that was held before Christmas and so it was disappointing they didn't arrive. Will not use Borough Box again for this reason”

“I'm sorry to say that delivery was exceptionally poor. Ordered a birthday present on 14th November, requesting delivery for 3rd December. The package (cheese box) didn't arrive until 12th December and I had to constantly ask about progress without much of a heartfelt apology. Photos of the box when it arrived look good but by that time I was already embarrassed and annoyed.”

“Arrived in a large box padded out with lots of packaging, however this served to safely protect the half dozen items inside which were all presented attractively and provided an inviting selection of chocolate treats which I gave as a Christmas gift. I was kept well informed via email with the delivery situation in relation to the busy Christmas order season”

“I did have an issue with an order being incorrect. It took a few attempts to get through on the phone. Order was corrected and arrived within 24 hours. Hats off to these guys for putting it right so fast and my missing order arrived on Christmas Eve. Excellent customer service. Despite reading some of the negative reviews here, I would not hesitate using this company again as the products are unique and great value.”

“Out of 3 gifts ordered, only one arrived on time. Another arrived later than chosen date. The third, and most expensive item, has not yet arrived, despite being ordered on 5th December for a 23rd December chosen delivery date. Still waiting for a reply to email sent over a week ago. Terrible customer service. Clearly BoroughBox took on more orders than they could fulfill. Other companies were more honest and stopped taking orders. I would not recommend BoroughBox and will NEVER USE THEM AGAIN.”
