Ordered items for Christmas gifts. Not supplied in time. Emails not responded too and no customer service department to contact. No response to request for refund. Terrible service, would not use again or recommend.

My orders placed on the 9/12/20 to be delivered on the 21/12/20. You lied to me saying they would be picked up on the 22/12/20 to be delivered on the 23/12/20. You kept taking orders knowing you couldn't deliver before Christmas.

My order placed for christmas has still not arrived - the tracking shows the order is still not with the despatch and any attempt to contact borough box has so far resulted in no help - just a request to fill in a review. So my ultimate christmas hamper is still not delivered

I placed an order on 10 December. On 23 December I was contacted by the courier to say that the order had been returned to you as it was damaged. I have heard nothing from you about a replacement and no response to my emails or a phone message.

Ordered my Borough Box on 8/12/2020 as a gift. The order did not arrive until today (31/12/2020). Very disappointed. I tried e-mailing Borough Box several times and only received an automated reply every time. The courier company, Yodel, appears to have received the item on 17/12/2020 (according to label), so not sure who is totally at fault here. Either way, a very disappointing experience. Only possible redeeming feature is that the contents looked a reasonable quality when it was opened.

Item scheduled for 14 Dec delivery is not even with the delivery carrier service yet (31 Dec). Extremely disappointing.

Terrible! Ordered on 12th December as a Christmas gift and here we are on 31st December and still not even dispatched according to the website. An offer of a refund of my £5 post and packing is pathetic. A full refund plus compensation might be better. Better still don’t accept Christmas orders you are clearly unable to fulfil. And please don’t blame the couriers - DPD for one were coping admirably.

If the item I ordered had actually been delivered then I might have been able to review it. This was a Christmas present which still hasn’t been delivered (31/12 @ 1800). My daughter also ordered from BoroughBox - her food hamper was due before Christmas but didn’t reach us until yesterday. BoroughBox cannot be contacted and only offer lame excuses. We wouldn’t recommend or use them again.

I had enquired originally about organising a bulk order for my team before Christmas but due to the high demand was told i would have order separately for each of my colleagues. I had sent some some follow up queries to your team regarding the order but have not received any responses still! i ended up placing 26 individual orders for my team although a number of the boxes only just arrived. Again I know this due to high volumes of deliveries etc but i would have expected better customer service / notification and perhaps even discount given I have spent £650 with you in the last couple of weeks!

The hamper was a Christmas gift. It was ordered in plenty of time for Christmas but only arrived yesterday. Very dissapointing

Ordered 2 weeks before christmas no communication so I emailed and I was told it wouldnt arrive in time so I had to rush out and buy an alternative, I emailed to cancel and was told it was despatched but it's a week later and still hasnt arrived no apology or explanation will not buy from here again and will expect a full refund

I've been asked to provide a review of a box that hasn't even been received 3 weeks after ordering. I only order this product because they guaranteed delivery before Christmas. I placed my order on the 12th. Zero Stars.

I'm still waiting for my boxes to be delivered despite being told delivery would be 15th December. Terrible service and would not recommend using them!

9 days after the scheduled delivery date and it still hasn't arrived. No communication for 9 days. No response to the support ticket 36 hours later. Useless. They should never have accepted the order if they couldn't deliver.

Unfortunately very poor - ordered in plenty of time for Christmas and no parcel arrived. Tried to contact numerous times and no responses, very frustrating. Complete lack of customer service, they turned off phone lines apparently but I got through to a corporate extension number to speak to someone who finally auctioned a refund. I am reluctant to leave a negative review in such challenging times for small businesses but an online retailer should have performed better and foreseen the uptake in demand. Also still advertising availability for Christmas right up until Christmas which was blatantly not a reality!

Terrible service- ordered on 12th December. No sign of parcel by the 29th of December even though I received an email informing me that it would be delivered by parcel force on the 29th. After contacting them again, was told that the parcel might be delivered by the end of week beginning 4th January. Asked for a refund instead. Currently awaiting the money to be refunded to my bank. Really disappointing service. Communicated through email and live chat.

Still not arrived - unfortunately your request for a review arrived before the product. Do not use this company they are dreadful!
